Got lawn pass tickets for my sister for Xmas. However she had already got them. Front gate won't refund or allow me to transfer the name. so she has two sets of lawn passes but can't give one to someone else... So they are just double dipping and it's bullshit. read more

Spent $1000 on passes and camping. They screwed up the shipping and my camping passes never got to me.... Here we are one week to the concert and I am being told I have to wait in the line at will call.... Not only did I get charged for two separate shipping transactions, my passes are now just " unable to get to you in time." I called several times. Half of the customer service people I talked to had no idea how the passes were sent out or where my passes were... NOT IMPRESSED! I will honestly think before I ever go to a concert selling through Front Gate again. read more

HORRIBLE AND HEARTLESS COMPANY. My best friend who unexpectedly passed away this past March had purchased WWWY festival tickets for us in January. I had to BEG and PLEAD customer service to refund the money to a different card since the person who purchased the tickets was DECEASED & we have no access to her bank accounts. Customer Service REFUSED. Finally after 30 emails the so called "manager" allowed for the tickets to be transferred to my email but that's all they could do.... Ended up losing out on hundreds of dollars because I never received my damn tickets. Disgusted with this horrible customer service experience. Lastly, a big middle finger to CLEO who is the most heartless human being I've ever conversed with. read more

Garbage company. I spent $1,400 for 2 days at a festival that required off site parking/shuttle bus. The shuttle bus was an additional $30 a day to and from the parking lot. Nowhere on the 'customers also buy' pop up does it say the shuttle pass is per person. It only says it one per person on the e-mail printout. I went to by another one the day of the festival and customer service said they provided the sales data to the vendor and I would have to get them at a "first come, first serve basis" from the shuttle. We are showing up later in the day, after the festival starts so likely they will be out of shuttle passes. I asked for a refund and was told the "no refunds, no exceptions" line. Screw them. They are terrible. At $60/day for a shuttle service for 2 people? Stupidity overpriced. Avoid these fools. read more

They really need to get things straight. I called around Feb to cancel Lost Lands plan and when I called, the person told me because the payment card used to make purchase was not my card (my bf's) that he has to call to cancel. So I understood that as their policy. Yesterday, I called to cancel Beyond Wonderland but since the payment was still processing, the representative I spoke with said to call back tomorrow when the payment is reflected on the card so they can start refund processing. So I called today and this girl said because the billing address was different person (my bf), he has to call. WTF? It was MY CARD to make payments, my phone number, my address, and my email - everything was under my name except the name on the billing address, I can't cancel? We live together so technically billing and shipping address are the same. Train the representative better!! I spoke with three different people and they say all different things and claims that as policy. What a joke. read more

Awful customer service. I hadn't received my tickets for an event I had that was two weeks away. Online it states tickets are shipped usually two to four weeks before the event. Because I still hadn't received it and was kinda at the cusp of that timeframe I sent an email to them requesting my status. The email reply was basically "your order will ship two to four weeks before the event! Enjoy the show!" Then today I still hadn't received my tickets and the show is two days away. I contacted them again and this time they were like "your tickets were shipped in March," And that if I "hadn't received the tickets," they could set it for will call. So now I have to wait in the will call line. They completely brushed me off with a canned response on the first inquiry when they could have looked into the fact that the tickets shipped in March and that I hadn't received them. Also, the part about if I hadn't received my tickets was so infuriating because WHAT AM I CONTACTING YOU ABOUT? I try to stay organized and on top of things so this whole thing stressed me out and feels like they just completely ignored my inquiry in the first place. read more

Wish i could give this company 0 stars, and their third party "secure ticket" companies too. Don't waste your time buying through this company. If you want a refund they won't give it to you. If you purchase the secure ticket at the end so you can try to get a refund if you can't make it to an event they still won't refund it. You have to literally be dying or kill yourself to get a refund. Lost $700 through this company. Might as well end my life so my family can use the money from the refund then. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had trying to buy or sell tickets. Front Gate is a scam. I tried to resell VIP tickets that I purchased for the upcoming Sound on Sound festival. The tickets never sold, so I successfully sold them through another third party vendor. This vendor required that the wristbands be delivered to the buyer, which I agreed to do since the wristbands were supposed to be delivered to me by Front Gate (and they had actually charged me $9.99 for delivery). A few days ago, after the wristbands still hadn't arrived, I contacted FG to see what was going on. FG told me that that when tickets are listed for resale, they "hold" the tickets so that they can mail them to the buyers if a successful sale is made. If there is no sale, and it is outside the "shipping window," then the wristbands are only made available back to the seller through "will call" at the event. FG doesn't tell you this, and they don't give you a heads up about the date upon which the mysterious shipping window will be closing so you can request delivery of wristbands you already expected (and paid) to receive. This nonsensical policy only hurts the consumer, not FG, but FG doesn't care, because at the end of the day they get their money, and you effectively get nothing. No wristbands (unless you can make it to the event, which presumptively you can't, which is why you are reselling), and no resale. FG's customer service is also not helpful. When I initially pressed FG about their hidden policy, they apologized for the "inconvenience" and sent me on my merry way. I had to contact the company at least 5 times after that to finally get a disingenuous refund of the scammy delivery fee they charged me despite not mailing my wristbands. The aftermath in all of this has been horrible. Since my wristbands were never mailed, I had to cancel the successful sale with the third party vendor where I had promised to deliver the now undeliverable wristbands, subjecting me to the full price of the tickets and other fees. Plus, I'm still on the hook for the money I already paid for the wristbands that I can't use because they are only available at the event I'm unable to make. I've begged and pleaded for a refund, since their hidden policies have made it impossible to recoup my losses, but they've refused. The bottom line is you should stay away from this company, as they are quite literally the worst. read more

Their computer system glitched while I was buying VIP for sacred rose. I thought my purchase failed and bought again. I ended up getting two sets of tickets in the mail. They refused to refund the first set of tickets. They blamed us for not calling and took no responsibility. The tickets were about 600. I'm floored. Terrible company. Michael in customer service said he wouldn't resubmit my refund request because he was concerned he'd get written up. read more

I wish I could give them a zero. Worst experience of my life. I've tried to contact them 4 times now and haven't heard anything. This is likely the worst company with which I have ever dealt. What a scam. They require you to purchase your tickets months in advance specifically to prevent you from reversing the charges on your credit card when they forget to ship you the wrist bands. I am out $900 because they never shipped the wrist bands. I have spent HOURS on the phone trying to resolve this. The concert is in 10 days and they are no help whatsoever. I will NEVER purchase tickets from them again. I would rather pay double on the resale market than purchase from this scam company. read more

I had an issue (my fault) with a ticket to an event in SoCal, and went back and forth via email with their office (Kristi) in Texas a few times...and then after confirming a few things over the phone (Kayla), they resolved the issue quickly! After paying $1500+ for two VIP festival tickets and realizing that I neglected to purchase parking with my package, I immediately reached out to remedy the situation. After a week of back and forth and no help from Front Gate Tickets who were the only ones that could help, all of the parking ended up being sold out as of today. Terrible customer service and passing of the buck has now screwed me going into this festival where I am going to have to account for an extra two hours of travel to park offsite and get on a shuttle. I am extremely disappointed, and will think twice about booking tickets through them next time. read more

Buyers beware of this company. I have been attempting to contact them for several weeks now with absolutely no response from there customer service email. I purchased a ticket for the Rolling Loud Miami festival for GA+ pass and when I requested a refund the customer service department refunded my money without any issue. Then I purchased a VIP pass for the festival and due too unforeseen events I am not able to attend. When I requested to cancel my ticket and be issued a refund the customer service departmrnt declined to do so, although now I see they have a waitlist and are sold out. Additionally, upon purchasing the ticket it never specifically stated that all sales are final and every time I call I get an automated voice message saying that they are experiencing a high call volume. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever received. read more

Re order for Governors Ball, NYC Instead of waiting on hold to talk to someone who will tell me they can't help me, I'm just going to go to Yelp and write a review. If there is no intention to actually be fair and help resolve honest mistakes, this is not a well run business. I won't be getting any more even tickets through Front Gate. In my case, my cart hadn't cleared the ticket when the site asked me to redo the form because credit card info wasn't processing. When I hit "purchase" after the credit card was cleared, I ended up with a purchase for two tickets when I was buying only one. Explaining this to anyone at Front Gate was an absolute waste of time. After basically saying they "couldn't do anything" the Front Gate customer "service" rep actually had the gall to suggest I invite a friend to use the extra ticket I mistakenly bought instead of canceling the extra ticket. Incredibly obnoxious. I see they have plenty of horrible reviews on Yelp. Here's one more. read more

On May 21, I purchased 2 VIP tickets to the June 21 Clusterfest show in SF. When I arrived at the show I was told my tickets were invalid. Front Gate initially tried to tell me that American Express rejected the charge. When that was revealed to be a lie, they then said that there was fraud on the account. When that was also shown to be a lie, they then asserted that they can cancel any tickets for no reason at any time without notifying the customer. I was then offered the option of repurchasing my same tickets for an additional $60!!! They were rude, refused to back down & the show had already started, so I had no choice but to pay more. While I was at the box office, OTHER PEOPLE came to the windows with the EXACT SAME ISSUE. Front Gate is obviously shaking people down for more money. The cancellation was their "mistake" and any reputable company would have apologized and reinstated the tickets. I even had my original receipt & 2 printed PDF tickets with me. Horrible company. read more

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I sent multiple requests/ emails to assist with shipping address update. None of their instructions worked. You can't reach anyone by phone. Similar experience to all the ones above. I absolutely cannot believe that this company is getting away with not having any customer service by phone and completely unresponsive to multiple emails other than a form response. They should be shut down before they take anyone else's money. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I have yet to receive my tickets for an event that is TOMORROW and I bought these tickets months ago. It is a literal nightmare trying to get in contact with someone either! No phone number and no one responds your emails OR DM's. If I could I would give Front Gate zero stars. They have the worst customer service. How does a business provide a phone number to call yet you get a message of "we are unable to accept calls right now please email us". I end up seeing the email on their site for customer service so you try and email for assistance but you get a kick back email saying that the mail box is not in use and to use a contact form. Why do they make you go through so many hoops to try and reach someone? Why is their website is not up to date with how to contact them. It's very shady on their part and poor customer service. read more

Four days out from EDC 2016 and no tickets. Paid $1600 for 4 tickets 9 months in advance and they cannot simply print tickets and ship them in 9 months? They charged a $43 "service fees" per ticket, $172 for 4 tickets in service fees. It should be shipped next day, but instead they ship it with the cheapest and slowest method possible. Hence, thousands of people still have not received their tickets coming up to the week of the festival. Considering this is one of the largest music festivals, this is completely unacceptable. This company is a joke and should be closed for business. Let alone, handle another event. read more

Really disappointed in this company. I bought a camping pass for Paradiso 2019 and then realized my boyfriend had also purchased one, so I was no longer in need of the pass. Now the pass was $450, not exactly a small purchase, so I wanted to sell it as soon as possible. However I called the customer service line and found out that there is no possible way to transfer the ticket to someone else through their website and they won't even send me my email with the actual tickets until a couple of weeks before the event, so there is basically no way that I can sell the pass until the last minute. This is the first time I've bought a ticket through this company and I hope it will be the last. Ticketmaster has a secure transfer tool which makes selling a ticket very easy. I really don't understand why any production company would choose to use front gate tickets over Ticketmaster. read more

Never received a confirmation about a purchase or an email that the event was cancelled as the website states. When I finally received a response I was told "the window" for a refund was now closed. I bought tickets for music midtown in 2020 and after they were rolled over to 2021 the original headliner had to reschedule for the following year. we were given the option to keep our tickets for the festival in 2021 or to roll over or refund our tickets. The deadline to do this was May 16th, 2021, but the lineup for the event had not yet been released by the deadline. I missed the deadline by a few hours so I immediately attempted to contact FGT. The phone services were no longer in service so I emailed support. I didn't receive a response until the 18th where the support member said that I could still roll my tickets over and provided me with instructions to do so. After following the instructions I was unable to roll over my tickets. I emailed support again and received no response. After sending multiple emails I didn't receive a response for weeks. these responses stated that I should email the music midtown team because they could no longer roll over or refund my tickets. This company makes excuses and does not pay attention to their customers' concerns. I understand if I couldn't roll my tickets over, but I think if I purchase ticket insurance, I should receive a full refund regardless of the deadline. read more
