Lmao they're a joke. For whatever reason, their phone lines are "temporarily unavailable" due to COVID but okay, so you have to contact them by email if you want to speak to anyone. They take a couple of day to reply back and when they do, it's entirely scripted and they don't listen to your concerns. I put in depth, in multiple emails, what it was that I needed and I promise you I could not have been more detailed. I even bolded, underlined, and italicized words just to get my point across even further. Every time someone would reply, they would all have the same scripted response that never answered the question you asked to begin with. Anyways, I reached out demanding a refund for my EDC Las Vegas tickets because obviously it would be stupid to still follow through with this event in literally 2 months!!!!!! when half a million people need to come together from all over the country to one place. Apparently they're going to have waivers in place saying you assume the risk of getting covid? Disgusting. Lucky for me though, I hadn't finished my layaway plan. I refused to let the last payment process since last year because I didn't want to dish out more money for an event that might not even happen. And due to the freeze on cancelling orders for nonpayment due to COVID, I've been able to maintain my order. The loophole that allowed me to get a refund was the fact that all sales are final on COMPLETED orders. but since my order wasn't technically "complete", they were able to issue the refund based on a "voluntary default in layaway plan" cancellation. So that's cool. Now here comes the frustrating parts. First of all, they emailed me back letting me know I could receive a refund in the way stated above and if i understood these terms, to reply giving authorization and they would go through with the process. In the same email, they said "please note once all payments have been completed on the account, a refund is no longer possible. so be sure to respond ASAP!" Tell me why right before that email, I had another email from them of them trying to process the last payment before I could request the refund!!! They haven't tried to process that payment for MONTHS. And then they tried once they saw I was trying to take advantage of the loophole?? Luckily the card I had on my account is no longer active so it declined the transaction. But still shady af nonetheless!!! Then they told me if I made multiple different forms of payment throughout the layaway plan, that each installment would be processed individually. I told them some of the payment methods used were no longer active. Accounts had been closed, cards had been tossed, I asked them what would happen when some refunds would be sent to closed accounts. No lie, one person said it would "reroute itself to the correct account". HUH???!! Another person said it would get sent back and then a check would be issued from them. ANOTHER said contact my bank and discuss it with them. Why would they know where the money would be. I'm no longer a customer with them. That's the point!! Now all payments have been refunded but they are sporadically all over the place, with no trace of where they're going or where they'll end up. I guess at this point I'll have to wait and see. $800 in concert tickets, in the form of a wrist band mailed to a house in a non-secure envelope - not in a FedEx type of letter envelope that is secure where you pull the tab but a cheap, flimsy manilla envelope anyone can open the flap and simply reseal it. WTF!!! So of course when I got the envelope no wristbands. And of course when I finally get in touch with Frontgate they refuse to remedy the situation. They refuse to send wristbands - because I don't think they really sent them in the first place honestly. Total scam artist. They charged me $800+ for some keepsake cards and a lanyard. Pretty good scam if you ask me. Read how many reviews use the words 'Con artists' or 'Scam'. First time ever purchasing through them - will be the last. When I told them I was going to work with my credit card company to dispute the charges and obtain a refund, the standard language is to issue a threat and attempt to bully the customer and tell you if you do- you will never be able to purchase tickets from them ever again in the future. Perfect! I will never purchase from this vendor in the future again because they are a scam artist and should be charged with large scale wire fraud because they charge you almost $100 for shipping fees but knowingly send you nothing- in a non secure manilla envelope. What they did offer was to leave some wristbands at Will Call next month. Well I don't know about you but I am not about to spend $1 more on flights, food, hotel or anything else on this scam just to get to Will Call (do they really have a Will Call???) and find out there are no wristbands at Will Call. I have zero, and I do mean Zero confidence that Frontgate would actually have a wristband waiting. If they could have a wristband at Will Call - why not just resolve the issue and send me what I am owed in a ticket-appropriate package? I'll tell you why they won't - it is because I spent $800 to discover they are scam artists. I think I'll keep my PTO days and find something else to do. I didn't let their threats scare me - I went ahead and talked to my credit card company - and I filed a dispute. I hope I get my money back. I wonder how long it will be before they are reported to DOJ - they love clawing back funds from headline worthy clients. It is a revenue stream for the DOJ. My husband got tickets for the sick new world in Vegas this April for him and our teenager daughter.We have been saving for months because they are expensive and we want to make a good experience for our daughter.The price is almost 590 per ticket.When we we're trying to get tickets on the front gate website, it errored out and said our payment got declined.So we went ahead and got two more tickets. But later on we found out the first try went through even it said declined on their website.We contacted the customer service right away ,their response was all sales are final and basically we are screwed.We tried to resell them on their website even with much cheap price,But seems like all they care was selling their own and they want to charge more fees for us to do that.So there is no way that we can sell them on time and make any of our money back. Fees, upon fees. This is just the way of entertainment tickets these days. A system glitch cancelled my EDC VIP tickets ($800+ x 2) and began an automatic refund process. When I asked customer service why, they gave me a canned response of "you failed to meet the terms of the layaway agreement." And they were going to keep $110 in fees! I had in fact made every payment on time to that point. I was pretty put off by them. When I told them to at least look at my payment history, I received a new response stating that there was a massive system error that refunded mine and plenty of others' tickets. In the end, FGT made it right by knocking $100 off each ticket. I can see why so many people have given them so-so to bad reviews. They're like the PG&E of tickets... Not a compliment read more

Front Gate Tickets did not deliver for EDC Las Vegas 2016. My tickets arrived in Hawaii AFTER I got to Las Vegas, so I was one of the many unfortunate people who were stuck for hours in Will Call at The Caesar's palace. Apparently, a whole ton of people didn't get theirs either because FGT decides to mail out packages TWO WEEKS before the event, and I'm talking via Snail Mail (US post office). It was so bad it made the local Las Vegas news. Can you imagine trying to ship out 400,000 packages two weeks before the event? Some EDC goers were from foreign countries too. We met people from Japan and Great Britain who were there for EDC. My package was stuck in Richmond, California - the graveyard of everything postal. Immediately after landing I had to drive directly from the airport to Caesar's in anticipation of being one of the first in line, hours before the crowd...turns out 800 other people had the same idea, give or take 350 people. In order to get your tickets (wrist bands) you had to physically wait for the box offices to open at 2 PM, so naturally several hundreds of people were also thinking the same thing and were getting turned away, and rather rudely, from the escalators that lead up the box offices. Come 1:42 PM, they decided to let us go upstairs and such a mass of people rushed the escalators that they actually BROKE the escalator on the left side. The one on the right side was still intact as for some reason people on the right were mellower than the stampeding people on the left. I got hassled for trying to pick up my ticket despite the fact that I called days before and was placed on hold for 30 minutes each time. They refused to give me my complete boxed packaged until I persisted, only to find it was completely empty and stripped of its contents. The only reason I'm giving them a two-star and not a one-star is because of a cool gal on Sunday, the last day of the 3-day event. She was really nice to me and my travel companion as we decided to sell our wrist bands to some boys who wanted the wrist bands transferred to them, and it was done seamlessly and with a smile. I also asked for a refund on my shipping fee and they honored it. I don't know if I'd ever attend another event with Front Gate because of the extremely poor planning, the constant anxiety about whether your ticket will arrive, and the total inconvenience of having to go out of your way and stand hours in line when you are on vacation when you could be doing something else. read more

Terrible company who you should never buy tickets from. I bought tickets for Beyond 2020. When it was cancelled, I filled in their refund request form during their 30 day window. No response. Filled it out again. No response. I get fed up in dealing with them and file a chargeback. My chargeback got denied because FGT LIED to my credit card provider and claimed I never filed a refund request. What a terrible company. Now the window is closed, and they continue to refuse to refund me. I will never attend an Insomniac event again or ever purchase tickets through these people. Don't buy tickets from Front Gate period and definitely don't buy using a layaway plan. I bought tickets to Highwater Festival for my boyfriend for Christmas 2023 using a layaway plan through Front Gate. On 3/5 I received an email that my wristbands had shipped, so I assumed everything was fine. The next day I received an email stating that my tickets for the event had been cancelled and refunded for lack of last payment in the layaway plan. I received no warning email and was given no grace period to repay and am getting zero help or admittance of wrong doing from the Front Gate Customer Service team. They refuse to give me new tickets despite this being a mistake on their end. Now I have to tell my boyfriend my Christmas gift to him was taken away from us and Front Gate is not refunding me for even half of what I already put towards the layaway plan. read more

I originally bought tickets for EDC Las Vegas through Front Gate Tickets.. then COVID-19 hit. I understand this can make things difficult, but due to the date change I was unable to attend. I tried contacting and emailing Front Gate in March for a refund.. no answer. I fill out their "refund" sheet in April and after two failed attempts because my "name was wrong" on the application, I finally called again today. The operator was extremely rude. He said that I could get a refund but they would keep $60 of the money. I asked why and he said the refund date cutoff was May 1.. I explained I tried to file for a refund since March and they had never responded to me. He finally said "this is the only way you're going to get any money back." (Meaning I have to forfeit $60 of my payments) I will NEVER use this company for ticket purchasing ever again. I recommend you do not as well. read more

Had an unpleasant encounter with Front Gate awhile back when I bought Coachella tickets through them. Most recently I bought When We Were Young tickets and was having issues getting them through my email. Although it wasn't the quickest response, they were able to get me my tickets and both representatives I spoke with were extremely kind and helpful. I purchased tickets and the week of the event I still had not received my tickets. I contacted FGT and after several emails they responded that I had missed a payment and did not have tickets. This was on Oct 3 FGT drafted a payment from my account on Oct 2. I never received a notice that a draft had failed from my institution or FGT. Upon reviewing a draft was not done in June, however FGT continued to draft my account after that. FGT stated that a refund had been issued yes after you drafted a payment 2 days prior and used my funds for 4mths. FGT kept $40 for their convenience fee total BS. The worst experience purchasing tickets in my life. 2 tickets to a festival were purchased but I got no receipt or proof of purchase, no email to confirm I had the tickets. I had no order # and no purchase history in my Front Gate account, yet the money was removed from my account. I emailed FOUR MONTHS AGO and got NO RESPONSE. I called their number, it told me that the line was no longer being monitored and that I should email them. The emails were never replied to. I had to go through TICKETMASTER in their claims department to get ahold of SOMEONE so they could send me an email with the receipt.... And now the tickets are for THE WRONG DATE and I am MISSING a ticket on my receipt. Terrible customer service. You'd think they could respond to an email if that's ALL they allow for customer contact. Phone numbers only give you a recorded message with the same email for contact. How do big name concerts even contract with these people? I have tried to contact them for 21 days via email for the parking passes I paid for, and have not received, for 2 concert days I plan to attend. This is the LAST time I will use them and in the future I refuse to attend any concert if they are the distributor of any of the tickets. Front Gate Tickets has the most pathetic and useless support department. They've canceled phone support and don't make employees respond to emails in a timely manner. We had to send multiple emails and wait over 2 months to get a response that said "Sorry, your message must have slipped my inbox". Since it took months for them to fulfill their duties, we (more like they) missed the deadline to update the names on our tickets at will call, resulting in multiple festival tickets going to waste. I purchased tickets to a 3 day concert festival called aftershock originally scheduled for October 2021. The date, lineup, and requirements for the show have all changed and I no longer what to go... as this is not he show I bought tickets for. Contacted frontgate via email 10 days ago and have yet to be contacted by customer support. I attempted to call the support number, but phone support is no longer available. Checked online, and no was to contact. The lack of communication is appalling. I have my tickets listed for sale, but am not holdings my breath for them to sell. Bought festival tickets through them, only to find out on the day of the event they had unilaterally cancelled the purchase. They claimed Visa requested the cancel, but Visa says they didn't. BEWARE OF FRONT GATE TICKETS!!!! THEY ARE A TERRIBLE COMPANY. I spent $475 on tickets to a festival (Sea Hear Now) that I never received. Tried to contact them for WEEKS before the event. Event came and went, and NEVER ONCE received a human response! Only automated responses saying "Due to higher than normal email volume, we have fallen a bit behind on responding". I also tried calling, but it just tells you to go to the box office, and hangs up on you. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. I bought tickets months in advance and still have not received them. Their customer support phone line is down "due to covid." This company is horrible. I purchased a 4-pack of tickets to Bonnaroo because a free car camping pass was included with it. A couple months prior to the festival, it is announced that you have to choose what day you will arrive. I chose my day, and was told I would receive my confirmation email shortly (it never came). Just one month prior to the festival, I received an email from Front Gate Tickets saying my camping pass was revoked because I didn't choose a day. I emailed Front Gate several times (email is the only way to contact them), starting with the day after I originally chose my day to arrive because I didn't receive a confirmation email. I was forced to buy a new camping pass. Looking on other groups on Reddit and Facebook, there were several other people who had the same issue and Front Gate just completely ignored us. read more
