Fronk's is community staple. Ask anyone in the city of bellflower where they recommend for dinner and Fronk's will definitely be on the top of their list! Today was just a quick trip for some fried pickles for a buddy. What's unique about these fried pickles is that they are deep fried whole. So more pickle and less fried batter. Makes for a perfect balance!

3 meat combo w/ 3 sides

Wow it's been almost 9 years since I've been to Fronks. I gave it a try again after craving bbq and wanting something not too far from home. I shared the 3 meat combo with my boyfriend. It was plenty of food and we even had a little bit of leftovers. The combo came with baby back ribs, pulled pork, smoked sausage and 3 sides. We got mac & cheese, bbq beans and coleslaw for the sides. The food was not terrible, but it was not good either. The meat was lacking flavor and their bbq sauce tasted store bought. The smoked sausage was overcooked. It looked and tasted like it was air fried. The bbq beans was too watery for me. I really like my bbq beans thick. The mac & cheese was too dry. The coleslaw was good, creamy and the only thing that I enjoyed eating. The meal was expensive at $45 something. The service was pretty good. Our waitress was attentive.

My first time back after not coming here for a while and I was disappointed. I was shocked when I saw my bill, and I immediately thought, "What did I order?!" Came here for lunch had the wings, which were just okay and soggy; I would have preferred BWW. 12 wings for $22, come one I thought it was lunch special! My brother ordered the taco plate, which came with rice and beans. He said the tacos were average, and the beans were just plain disgusting. The sliders which we shared was the only okay plate, but the meat was very thin and I wish there was more for what we paid for. The quality has gone down for sure from the last time I was here. Beers, as you can see were $8.50 a pop. There were mosquitoes everywhere in the establishment, and my brother and I got bit. Safe to say I will not be back here again. Fronk's, please do better.

The Elvis peanut butter burger , YES peanut butter - DO NOT knock it till you try it the confusion of flavors will KNOCK your socks off !

Was everything we expected ! UNIQUE & DELICIOUS !! Can't wait to come back and explore the menu

Amazing peanut butter brownie sundae. Comes in small and large. (This is the large size)

This burger lover finally made it to burger heaven! I can't comment on the parking situation because the road was blocked off due to a car show happening (if I had more time it would of been fun to walk around and see) However, we did find a street parking spot on the side of the restaurant. When I first walked in I noticed they had a huge amount of outdoor seating, but we chose to be sat in one of their huge booths that easily could have fit 4 people on each side. They also had so many TVs (but it was not overload or overwhelming. I didn't hear any of the TVs playing) the only thing I heard was the amazing throwback music which I am a sucker for. This place is known for being a great hangout spot for sports. College games, pro games and even UFC. They had a bunch of super friendly waitresses and the hostess that sat us was extremely sweet. We had the AMAZING waitress, Janessa B (how her name was on the receipt) She was extremely sweet and helpful. She had a gorgeous contagious smile the whole time. She wasn't one of the dreaded waitresses that look like they rather get a root canal vs help you and take your order. Side note- they have a pretty big variety of options on their menu. Anything from salad, soup, ribs, Mexican selection and much more. But I believe most of the people here seem to come for the burgers. We immediately put in for their popular bacon cheese fries. Let me tell you, they are NOT shy with the bacon. The pics of the fries don't even do it justice. There's so much bacon hidden under that cheese!! You can get them in regular or spicy. I got the regular. It comes with a dipping sauce that tasted like a chipotle ranch?? And we ordered regular ranch with it. 10/10. This is a must for the ultimate cheat day We also ordered a mighty Max burger (it comes with Mac and cheese on it) ordered it well done and it came out perfect. Also picked the onion rings for the side (I would 100000 percent come here for their burgers whenever I'm craving one). We also split the burger and our amazing waitress asked if we wanted it cut for us Now for the best part We ordered the peanut butter hot fudge brownie sundae. This also comes in two sizes. sm and LG. We ordered the large, because why not? After we ordered it, Janessa came back to the table and asked if we were ok with peanuts or if we had any allergies. I thought that this was amazing. We did tell her it was our first time coming here, so it was great that she checked and made sure we were ok allergy wise. Everything here was absolutely amazing. I didn't get to try the onion rings until the next day because I was so full from the other stuff we ordered. But the onion rings were soooo good and seasoned perfectly. (You can even see all the great seasoning on the bacon cheese fries as well For all this pre tip it came to 55 dollars. For an appetizer, shared entree and huge dessert I think this is extremely reasonable. The burger was the most expensive item coming in at 21.95. It does come with a side, however I do think it was on the pricey end for a sports bar burger. It was still delicious though. Everything came out extremely fast and the plates were taken away by a very friendly guy who kept coming around and taking the dishes away from everyones table before the other food came out (and asking people if they needed boxes) Also, this place is a pretty popular spot for drinks. I didn't get any this time, but next time I'll have to try some out!

Their Apps are still amazing. Had some leftover and just air fried and they were still really good. I need to go back for some fresh ones.

How do they have an A with there's hair in their food/drinks
Lizz D.

2 drinks had hair... not 1... 2!!! both served at two different times. I went here this weekend and it was by far one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant. The waitress clearly didn't want to take our drink orders, waiting 15 mins until she finally came around. Super monotone, extremely unwelcoming and not ready to do her job. my boyfriend ordered his drink and the longest hair was swiming into his beverage. 30 mins later i made the mistake and ordered a margarita and there was another hair!! i understand mistakes happen BUT TWICE?! check your food and drinks here!!!

My go to Dodgers bar! Great drinks. Decent service, sometimes a little slow. The food is amazing and definitely not good for you, don't try to be healthy! Loud and always a good time.

I've never gone to Fronk's before, but heard about them when a few workers would go to Lazy Dog after work for Happy Hour when I use to work there. They told me it's a good spot to go, and ever since then I've been curious. I went with friends and the place is pretty big. By the host stand there were drawing of the workers which I thought was pretty cool. Although it was a Friday night, we were able to get seats right away. It was about 6 or so, and the place wasn't packed which was good. We got seats outside. I didn't do any ordering, but one of my friends did. He got the nachos, and got me a margarita. The drink was good...no complaints. The nachos were so good though. It had so much on top. There was meat, lots of cheese, guacamole and I think salsa. They had salsa verde and sour cream on the side. I wanted to order more food to try out, but my friends were ready to leave. Although my first time was a short time there...and I didn't get to try something else...I definitely want to come back. The server was super cool despite my friends being dumb...like silly dumb. She was joking along with them which I appreciated. Wish I got her name to give her a shout out. Definitely will be back here again.

The food is delicious and comes with great service. The ambiance is perfect specially on game days! The Micheladas and their fried dishes are the best I've ever had. 20/10 most def recommend.

Lies! Take your sign down after your specials are over!
Janell H.

What a disappointment! It has been a few of years since we have been back in the area and was looking forward to eating at Fronk's. In the past it was a favorite in the area. Before 4 on a Friday and they were out of ribs. Advertised Friday Fish Fry specials all day at the entrance and on the tables. False! That was during lent and Easter was a month ago! Waited forever for food to arrive. Onion rings were barely warm, pulled pork looked disgusting but was fair to adequate. Mac and cheese was good but for the cost of the meal I could have just gone to Chick-fil-a for a Mac fix. Won't be back!

Blackened chicken/shrimp kabobs, salad, Mac n cheese and Cadillac margarita... all yum!
Esther R.

Food, service and drinks were all great! Ambiance was good too, I happen to go in when a football game was on, once over the news channel started playing on all tv screens all of a sudden they go silent, I look up and it was Donald trump on the screen! They muted his ass out! I thought that was funny! Good place for drinks and food, at least my plate was good. I had the blackened chicken and shrimp kabobs with a side salad and mac n cheese. Very satisfied with both the margaritas and meal i had. Would recommend!

My husband and I have been wanting to try the Ube sliders for a while, and we decided to get that. We also go the Panda Style fries with spam. When we got our food, everything looked so delicious. We've had the Panda Style Fries before. And it never disappoints. The fries have great taste from the seasoning to the sauce. And the spam brings out that saltiness the fries need. I love the grilled onions on top. We usually eat it from the top to the bottom, so we usually don't get much sauce or toppings when we get to the bottom. I think it's meant to be mixed, but we don't want it to get mushy. The be sliders were good. The patty, sauce, and grilled onions were good. The Ube bread didn't have much Ube taste to us (imo). And I felt like I was getting more bread than the actually patty and what was inside the burger. I felt like I could have used more sauce to soften up the dry texture I get from the bed. But overall it was good. This place is located inside the Steelcraft so it has a nice, chill ambiance. The place can get busy, especially when they are showing games. But a nice place to hang out and chill over some food and drinks.

He was very friendly, especially when I told him it was my first time there. He handed us a postcard like menu, which I thought was pretty cool. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. He asked us if we would need any additional condiments. We asked for ranch and it wasn't missed. Win! We paid him as he had a tablet with him and when we got to the window for our food, everything was ready and hot. This place was organized and on top of it! My food was delicious! The burger reminds me of your backyard barbecue and In-N-Out. The patty is small, the vegetables were crisp, the bun was fresh. I would definitely get a double patty next time. The french fries are really good, they were cooked perfectly and they had a good flavor. They were also fresh and not oily. All in all, this was a great visit and the food was good. When I walked last night 15 minutes before close, no one was trying to rush me out and still asked if I wanted to eat there. This was delightful because usually people are completely poops about it. I wish I knew the young man's name who was the cashier he was so kind, outgoing, and just overall super bubbly and friendly. My had a small baby and I went in first to order and then went outside to trade with my husband so he could use the restroom as we waited for our to-go order. Without me sharing any thoughts with my husband the first thing he said when he got back is how supremely friendly the young man was and how he swears his attitude was contagious because he came out with a smile on his face. The food itself as mentioned was great. We took advantage on the specials for the double cheeseburger and the chicken sandwich. I know people will debate it, but I enjoyed the well seasoned and tasty breaded sandwich much more than In-n-out. The chicken sandwich tasted so high-quaity in comparasion to most fast food sandwiches I've ever had and priced so affordably. The entire resturant and the restroom were impicaly clean, the defintion of "sparkling clean". This location really has it together and the chose the right person to be in the front dealing with their customers. Truly a wonderful experience!

For lunch or dinner, I always go for the pastrami combo with half zucchini and half fries. The portion sizes at Tam's are HUGE! Yes, the prices can be a little high, but honestly, just about everywhere is expensive these days. At least here, I really appreciate that the portions are big enough that I almost always have leftovers for a second meal. If you have an air fryer, those leftovers heat up pretty well the next day. Of course, it'll never be quite as good as Day 1, but for those of us trying to stretch our dollars, it definitely works! My only complaint--and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5--is that I really wish they offered delivery through Uber Eats, Postmates, DoorDash, or another delivery service. I came here when they first opened, and the setup was pretty straightforward. You order at the counter and wait for your food to be prepared. During my first visit, seating was somewhat limited, although I believe they've since expanded to include more tables and bar seating. One thing I really enjoyed was being able to watch the burgers being made while waiting for my order. There's just something about watching those patties sizzling on the grill that makes you even more excited for your food! I also love being able to see my burger prepared right in front of me, knowing that everything is made fresh to order with quality ingredients. I've tried their Single and Double Smashburgers, both with everything on them, along with their crinkle cut fries and strawberry shake. And everything (no pun intended!) was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. When you order your burger with everything, it comes with grilled white onions, American cheese, mustard, and their house-made pickles. I especially love that they use Martin's potato rolls, which are incredibly soft and pillowy but still have that perfect chew and bite to hold everything together. The grilled onions add a savory sweetness, while the pickles bring that tangy crunch that cuts through the richness of the beef and cheese. And speaking of their pickles, they're so good that Nilly's actually sells them separately by the cup! They also make their ranch dressing in-house, which you can order for an additional charge. Another thing I appreciate is how customizable their menu is. You can add their house-made chili to any of their burgers, hot dogs, or fries. They also offer impossible meat and gluten-free buns, making it easier for people with different dietary preferences to enjoy their food. Since my last visit, I've noticed that they've expanded their menu to include patty melts and pastrami, which gives me even more reasons to come back! I already have my eye on their Chili Cheese Hot Dog and Pastrami Fries, and I'm definitely curious to see how those compare to their smashburgers. All in all, Nilly's is a great neighborhood spot for anyone craving a classic smashburger without all the unnecessary frills. I love supporting a Filipino-owned local business that's putting out quality comfort food, and I'm happy to see them continuing to grow and expand their offerings. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!
