I called for some help with my dog and the person on the line was so nice. Just wanted to know what kind of services they offered to see if they could help with my situation. I was very flexible and wanted to see if I could board my dog or possibly get a sitter. The person on the line was extremely friendly and said I am sure that we can figure something out. She spoke to the owner and then tells me that they are not going to help me at all. So disappointing. I have a super friendly dog and I just needed some help while he adapts to being home alone. I could've taken a dog walk or any kind of help but owner refused. Not sure why they would refuse service. I wasn't rude in anyway and it wouldn't willing to hear what kind of services they had an owner refuse new client. Very disappointing. On her seems like all she's in it for is the money. The sad thing is I have money I'm not asking for anything free! Spoke to other client was told that owner is extremely rude and selfish. They have services but if the owner feels she's not gonna make enough money from you or it's not what she wants not what you need she's extremely condescending and rude. No wonder the person I spoke to was an ex client. There are so many other places out there for your dog I truly recommend speak to someone else. Was told they're going out of business now and it makes sense. Too bad that the owner has to act that way. I will continue to take my business elsewhere. There are so many wonderful caring pet services that this place is not going to be missed by anyone! read more

It's great when you can have a friend sit the dog, but the more I use G'Day, the more I appreciate the value of their professionalism and amazing customer service. We first used them after our usual lovely dog-sitter found herself in the middle of a horrible dog fight, and someone got bitten. Not something you'd wish on anyone: and a situation where you really want someone who is both trained for it, and bonded and insured. We asked our trainer, who recommended G'Day. We've used them 5 or 6 times so far and love them - even though they're obviously not as cheap as using friends. They have enough people to fit us in whenever we need them, and they've all been excellent. They leave good notes after every walk and are clearly well-briefed on feeding, care and how to look after the house too, while they're here. (They can also post pet photos to Facebook; nice to see when you're on a trip.) And I was blown away when, earlier this week, I had to make a really last-minute change (I emailed just before 11pm the night before) - and got a reply that night, saying I was all set. I'm quite sure that's not something they want to encourage, but it was pretty impressive. So to us, they're worth every penny. read more

Carol was a lifesaver! Her and her team cared for my new dog Penny this week while I was in Seattle on a business trip. There was no way I was going to keep Penny cooped up in a hotel room during the trip, and I was thrilled to find G'Day Pet Care - they offered everything we needed: hotel visit/dog walk, hotel pick-up, doggy day care, and airport drop off. We have used Frolic in the past and been very pleased. We just came back from a week long vacation during which we hired Frolic to stay at our house seven nights, twelve hours a night, from about 6:30pm to 6:30am and also come during the day, one hour in the early afternoon for eight days. Our home has a monitored alarm system and I can see exactly when doors were being opened and closed. All of the midday visits and five of the nights were covered exactly as expected. We received friendly upbeat email reports with photos from all of these visits. On the second night we were gone, the nighttime person came about 6:30 and left about 8:30pm, returning about 8:30am. and on the sixth night, the person came about 7:00pm, stayed very briefly and then returned about 8:30 am the following morning for a very brief time. We booked the overnights because our two big Labs can't go 10 hours without going outside. One of the Frolic people also cleaned up urine in our house with an old sheet, leaving it in the laundry room, so we came home to big house stink. Our recent interactions with Frolic include numerous unanswered emails before and after our trip and a disregard for the alarm system logs that we sent them. I think some very good people came for our pets but that doesn't make up for the two nights they did not stay. I won't use them again. I did not appreciate spending part of my vacation checking on the alarm system logs and wondering what to do if no one showed up, especially since they did not response to my email about the first night their person did not stay as contracted. read more

Only use this company if you have a perfectly trained dog who never has accidents or chews things - and who is kenneled when no one is home. Otherwise they will blame you for almost anything their employees do wrong and then cancel your future services with very little notice. The short story is: while I was away on a business trip, they neglected to give one of my dogs his medication even though I couldn't possibly have given clearer instructions; they lost my other dog's collar with her tags 3 days before I came home, never told me, never found it; and when I arrived home there were 10-12 pee accidents and 5 poop accidents in the apartment that had not been cleaned up at all. They did give me my money back for all of the services provided by the girl who didn't give the medication. Despite all of that, I was willing to believe that this was an anomaly and give them a second chance, but then 4 days later they decided to cancel the rest of my walking services without giving me enough time to find a replacement because they felt I was "too negative" about what had happened during my trip. Here's the long story: Frolic was recommended by my trainer for my 2 recently rescued dogs: a 4 year old Yellow Lab and a 1 year old Lab Mix. The 1 year old can be challenging - which I was completely forthright with Frolic about. He came from Seattle Humane and they knew nothing about his history. He's incredibly sweet - not aggressive or skittish at all - but very much still a puppy. He will chew just about anything and is still learning not to mark in the apartment. While I would have liked to crate him, I was told by Seattle Humane that he happened to be one the rarer dogs that had no problem peeing in his kennel : ( I did not want to come home to him lying in in his own pee, so I've been working on a way to cordon off my kitchen but it's hard with the angled walls in my apartment. I went on a 5 day business trip and hired Frolic for overnights and midday walks. I gave them detailed information with everything they would need to know about the dogs and the apartment. I also posted large font cheat-sheets regarding walking, feeding, and medication schedules and specifics. My 1 year old had a terrible bout of diarrhea and vomiting 5 days before I left. The vet had given me prescription food and 2 medications and I emailed Frolic the updated feeding and medication instructions. Frolic's system of keeping you posted on how your pets are (and for their office to keep track of their walkers and sitters) is that their employees are supposed to take a picture at each visit, and that gets posted to their Facebook page. The entire 5 days I was away, there were no pictures posted from any of the overnight visits or from the midday walks on Saturday and Sunday - only from the 3 weekday midday walks. I emailed Frolic for updates a few times, and received 2 emails forwarded to me from the overnight sitter: one about Jersey shredding part of my rug pad the 2nd night, and another that was forwarded to me the morning of the day I was coming home regarding him chewing the rug pad more, shredding some cardboard I had over my bookcases, and she said "while I have not seen any accidents happen while I've been here- it definitely smells like there have been." I responded to all of those emails as soon as I received them (including the frequent requests that I kennel him - when I had explained to them my challenge with that) and I kept apologizing to them that he was so much trouble. Then I arrived home that night. The apartment stank to high heaven. My female dog (Callie) came running up to me and I noticed immediately that she had no collar on. When I got back from walking them, I found that the living room was covered in pee and poop everywhere. She couldn't see these accidents??? Jersey never pooped in the apartment other than when he had diarrhea, so I was very confused. I hunted everywhere for Callie's collar - which had all her tags on it - and it was nowhere to be found. The next morning, I pulled out Jersey's medication. There should've been 4 pills left. There were 13. They hadn't given it to him. I was livid. I called the office and spoke to the owner's daughter (the owner was on vacation). I explained what I had found and she said she would talk to each of the 3 people involved and then get back to me. She called me back, apologized, said that the overnight girl got flustered by Jersey's destructiveness and that's why she messed up his medication. She had no explanation for the loss of Callie's collar or the amount of pee and poop in the apartment. I agreed to give them a second chance when I was assured that girl had been removed from her services to be re-trained. 4 days later the owner called me to tell me that she didn't feel that we were a good fit because I was "too negative" about them, and they bailed on my upcoming appointments without giving me time to find a replacement. I do love frolic pet services. It's hard to leave my pets when I go away and I really hated all the kennels downtown, so at a dog trainers recommendation - we gave frolic a try. I love that it is at a house and is conveniently located near the airport. There is always someone with the dogs and they spend a lot of time outside (if they want and I know my dog likes too) ! I see an updated picture daily and carol keeps up with the training when she's there! She is really a easily stressed out pup, but seems to get in the routine nicely. Frolic also checks on my cat in my condo. They come when they say they will...and I can tell they stay as long as they say they will by the check in / out with my concierge. Last thing I love - I can book it ONLINE! Super easy and they get back to you really quickly. I've never been to a boarding place I would give 5 stars - so this place has to be great! read more

The best pet sitting company ever!!! Professional, reliable, client oriented! They took great care of my 2 cats while a was away for 4 days. I was first a little worried about my kitties home alone (just because I always worry about them when I am away), but then I checked out Facebook and saw all these amazing pictures of them playing, eating and even posing!! I was so happy to find my precious cats feeling great and being happy and healthy. Twice a day I was checking Facebook to find new beautiful pictures and funny comments :-)! That is the first trip I was 100% relaxed without having to think if everything is alright with my babies. When I arrived home - everything was clean and nice (like it honestly has never been - cat`s are full of surprises when left alone)! They also left notes regarding each visit on the table and I enjoyed reading it a lot - they are true feline behaviorists and have figured out things about my cats that I did not even mention :-), wonderful surprise! I found G'Day Pet Care online while searching for a place to board my cats. I just moved to the area two weeks before leaving on vacation. So, I was hesitant to leave my cats locked up in a kennel for 10 days. I saw G'Day Pet Care will come to your home and check on your pets while you're gone. I thought this would be much easier on my cats and it was. When I returned, I had notes from the pet sitter every day with smiley faces and good reports. I have two house rabbits (free roaming). The care has been above excellent when they have sat for me. Coming home to cheerful and healthy pets is the best. My bunnies have been skittish and scared upon my return when I've used other services/individuals, so I can tell Frolic takes the time to make sure they're comfortable and happy, which is very valuable to me. Bunnies are suspicious critters, but their sitters seem to have the knack and patience for taking the time to gain their trust, which is very special. I love the pictures they take each day that let me see they're well when I'm not there with them. No matter how much my head knows they're fine, it still helps the heart to see their healthy furry faces from afar! Keeping their cage properly clean is great, and is also something I haven't seen from other sitters. Finally, on a non pet-related note, the extras like bringing in the mail are much appreciated - and putting the mail where the pesky bunnies won't eat it!
