Immediately I went on the Yelp app to see the reviews and mostly all of them were positive except quite a few people complained about how long they waited for their food. Well, they were legitimate complaints. Me and my wife waited roughly 45 - 50 minutes for 2 egg platters. The part that upset me was the people that walked in after us and sat at the counter were served before us. Basically the cook (owner) served his normal customers first. If it wasn't for the long wait time I would've easily scored Bob's 5 stars but 45 - 50 minutes for eggs will deter me from going back.

My husband ordered eggs, home fries and bacon and the bacon was also perfectly done- something else that we don't often find. This place serves up organic, traditional, vegan (but also vegetarian and can basically turn almost anything into gluten free upon request). You want it, just say it. Came here with a dear friend that wanted to treat us to lunch and I was convinced I wanted to go the bowl route but when I saw chicken and waffles with fried oyster (I think) mushrooms instead of chicken, I was SOLD. This is such a hard one to ever be able to order since the only substitution they'll ever give you is fruit, or simply just a Belgian waffle. Not at Brooklyn Organic Kitchen. You order, they DELIVER. From the flavors, to the portions to the presentation BOK is an incredible gem that I'm so glad we got to discover thanks to our friend. We left full, satisfied and with to go boxes but my belly was happy the next day getting to enjoy waffles (with fruit this time) right from home. It probably won't be possible for you to leave room for dessert since they kind of don't even let you leave with any room for even breathing after enjoying delicious homemade food BUT, if you so were inclined to or even managed to masterfully leave room for dessert (super Mario size), they do have muffins, cinnamon rolls, cake, cookies, cupcakes - all kinds of things.
