Ok. Next level food trucking done right! Talk about a little truck with a big personality and warm little family that takes care of you. Conveniently located right on 22 and it's nice and tucked in to still be able to have a little bit of privacy. Very broad menu with even better pricing. You can get a burger with fries for around $8 and everything's prepared at the moment. Cheese steaks, grilled cheeses, tenders and fries, burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs. They have it all! Vegetarian options available as well. Everything is very sanitary with enough social distancing outside benches available. Really nice back area to run around and play (with kids, or big adults too lol). Sanitizing station. Everything is disinfected clean. Staff and everyone must wear masks when entering the area. Bottom line: great food truck food, fresh ingredients, great options for everyone, friendly staff and awesome people. During season they're open April- November Thursday-Sunday 11-3. I'm just going to come out and say it. The west coast dominates over the east coast it terms of getting a good burger. We have been in NY for 5 months and have had nothing but mediocre burgers everywhere we have tried. And there are a TONS! So many little road side burger shacks that truly have some of the worst burgers I've ever had. I had almost lost all hope till I saw this place. It's absolutely adorable and the owners are extremely friendly. I ordered the Philly burger and saw him weighing out a huge fresh burger patty and dicing up tomatoes and onions. Incredibly fresh. It's like doing your own bbq at your house. The burger was, not surprisingly, amazing. Best I've had by far since we've been here. This is a great little spot! Great outdoor seating. The food is great and the proprietor very friendly and nice.

The hot dogs are magnificent. The sleeper is their grilled turkey and swiss with cranberry mayo; that sandwich is indescribable. I've only been here a couple of times, so this is limited to what I've had. I must say that their hot dogs are really good but not great and certainly not as good as a friend of mine makes them out to be. Oh, and their fries and onion rings are really good too. But it's their burgers that have a special place in my heart. I don't know how to explain it except to say that they're just perfect. That's it. Just perfect. Before you call me Goldilocks, I'll explain: they're just the right size, not too big or too small. They're juicy but not dripping. They're tasty, not to bland or too spicy. The bun is just right, not too hard and not too soft. It's a real roll, not your standard hamburger bun. For anyone traveling through Pawling / Patterson, NY, this is a must stop. The Pastor of my church in Pawling Mark suggested it and hey if your Pastor says it's great who am I to argue. OM(GOSH) is this place great, I've been here twice had bacon cheese burgers both times with lettuce, tomato and grilled onions, fries and a coke. After looking at the menu I need to expand my horizons and try something different. The owners are gems and the setting is awesome. Good thing I'm not too close I'd be 300 lbs in a month! Lynne and crew are great! The food is excellent and so is the service. My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich (with added bacon). The fresh brewed iced tea is also great, much better then Dunkin down the road. The locals in the Pawling-Patterson, NY area know where to go for good, simple and cheap food. Ken and Lynne Forrrest have been working out of their immobile food truck for over 20 years and it just gets better and better. You have to look for it because it is on a side street (hence the name) just off of Route 22 on the Pawling-Patterson town line. Over the years they have moved the truck to the other side of the road, expanded the seating (picnics tables) and landscaped the grounds. The hamburgers and hot dogs are popular but there are also great grilled sandwiches, hot and sweet sausages and more. They are open year-around for lunch but during June, July and August they stay open Friday evenings and many locals make a visit a regular part of their Friday evening schedule. Several more elaborate specials are always featured on Friday evenings. Ken and Lynne are very friendly and accommodating. They say that over the years many of their customers have become friends.
