Truth be told, I actually wanted to try at least something to help celebrate Asian Pacific Islander Month, so I looked up places to go that fit the criteria. This ended up being the easiest stop for me because I could definitely make it a plan to go along with the aforementioned Costa Vino Yelp Event. To be fair, during an ice breaker at the event, one of the things listed was to write a Yelp review there on the spot, and I could have written this review there. However, I waited till after I got home because I like to write reviews the best way I know how: leave as few details out as I can and try to give the most helpful review possible. Speaking of Yelp Events, the interior of this place, Bubbly's Bubble Tea, reminds me a bit of Taichi Tea's New Haven location, but smaller. Also, this is in a convenient location as it is just a skip and a hop from the Wheels Hub. That said, it also means that you can easily bypass this place regardless of how you get here. But if you do get the chance to come, it's worth the side trip as long as you're not in any hurry. The menu is basically just desserts and boba drinks. Just know that the desserts close a half hour before this tea shop itself does, so if you want a crepe, pancake, or The Croffle, you need to make sure you don't try coming in at the last minute. The reason this is is because these items are not only made to order, but also made from scratch. But based on the crepe I had tonight, it is worth the wait. My crepe was the Chocolate Madness, and then my drink was a Dragonfruit soda with rainbow boba in it. The soda was not too sweet, but also refreshing. I ate the crepe right outside next to the place, and the soda I had on my way to Costa Vino. The man who worked on my order was really friendly and walked me through my choices like a champ. I just wish there was more than one person on duty so that they can get their product out faster. Also, if they were open later that would have been great. I can't get the opportunity to come here very much with my schedule. Other than my few nitpicks, this place gets my seal of approval. P.S. I initially forgot to mention, but the music selection here is a W! I gotta give a special shout-out to one specific song that played while I was there. "Nevada" by Vicetone is a vibe that my DJ on Spotify wouldn't quit playing end-2024/beginning of 2025, so to hear it while I was ordering was funny and much appreciated!

Tables are for no more than 2 people (max!). But there are a few tables outside along Main Street and you might be able to snag an extra chair for a trio business meeting, or so. As has been noted, Tazza Cafe has lots of delectable sweets, baked goods, croissants, sandwiches, paninis, cookies, stuffed items, salads and Italian noisette biscotti to dunk in that Java! The items are not marked by name and price, which is a bit of a stumper for normal customers (I can tell by experience) - but in my book it's okay if they rotate items periodically or change their places depending on what is selling that week. My order was a double Espresso and a sweet Linzer Tart (I always get them since my Grandmother used to spoil me with them). Although my espresso at Tazza Cafe only very barely reached a HALF (tiny) cup - it was strong. It was pungent. It had almost a kind of plum and barky flavor. It tasted thick & good. The coffee station however was a mismatch of space for local papers and news taking up the space for cream and milk and syrups (which was oddly missing). The interior fits the town of Ridgefield. Upper-scale. Suave. Lots of mirrors and glass and black surfaces. This is no riff-raff shop like out in Cali! At first I thought it may be a *chicks-preferred* type of puppy-pink peony-kale & baby food smoothie-type coffee shop, but NO there were groups of dudes languishing in chairs with cigarettes and lattes taking a break. Arrived at 9am and there were 8-9 customers. One thing: that entrance door is tough. Weak armed elderly customers with not much strength had trouble yanking it open from outside. Me, I had trouble getting out with a cup in one hand and a bag in the other. Hey proprietor: Oil the door or lower the jam! The waffle cones were very good, and next time I want to come back and try the ice cream cake summer special! The staff was friendly, and they were well-stocked with pints to take home in the freezer. The next flavor I added on top of the caramel cookie gelato was the maple walnut ice cream. The maple walnut was crafted perfectly. I am unsure what my grandpa, grandma, and dad ordered, although they all enjoyed their ice cream as well! I appreciated how eagerly attentive the staff were when we ordered. They were even beyond informative and very patient when we were making our order. Overall, this place was worth the drive to see our family friend and left us full and happy for our drive back home!
