OK here's why: Migoto offers an exhaustive menu of truly unusual boba/smoothie/slushie/coffee drinks as well as exotic (mostly East Asian) packaged snack products. As I've ordered from Migoto an average of once a week this past summer, you'd think I'd have tried them all. You'd be wrong. This is because I can't bring myself to order anything but their absolutely phenomenal White Peach Dreams. God bless Migoto, long may it run. Best boba shop on the planet.

The service is excellent and I enjoyed speaking with Coco, who was very helpful and kind. My daughter and I also enjoyed sitting by the window and playing with the puzzles and connect 4 games available for customers while enjoying our beverages. She ordered the strawberry lemonade with mango boba and I ordered the traditional boba milk tea. They were both delicious and on the sweet side. It was a relaxing and enjoyable expereince. I've ordered Migoto boba drinks via doordash as well, and got the same great quality, consistency and packaging. The drink cups are much better quality than at other bubble tea shops and they are recyclable.

I'm not the most experienced Boba drinker, but I've heard good things about the Whale Tea's various…read morelocations. I often get fruit teas, but I've been trying to branch out. At this Whale Tea location at least, you order and pay at a kiosk and they tell you when your drink is ready. I went with one of The Whale Tea's signature drinks -- The Whale Crystal. The kiosk pic for this order showed horizontal blue, white and orange-brownish layers. The description said it was coconut milk and peach jelly. When they handed the tea to me, there was no blue layer. Just a white and orange-brownish layer. That was disappointing since I was largely going for the visual. I wouldn't think that I had to add something to my order to achieve the blue layer since it was the pic for this order. But as I said, I'm not experienced with Boba Tea. I'm sure the tea was fine for it was, but I didn't really connect with it. That sometimes happens when you try new things. The coconut milk layer tasted on point. The peach jelly had the texture of small gummy pieces. It tasted fine. I would try the Whale Tea Again, but not this drink. 4 Stars

I also love that the bright green and yellow storefront is super inviting and welcoming! I am a sucker for fruit teas and a good matcha so I was excited to see that they had so many options to choose from. I tried the peach strawberry fruit tea which was so refreshing! I'm excited to see what new coffee and tea flavors they come out with this fall. This place will definitely be in my rotation of cafes downtown!

For awareness, the Brown Sugar Boba Matcha Milk Tea which I had is not customizable. Weird too because you can customize your own drink and am sure could order each item individually. There are a couple of merchandise items for sale like a glass boba cup and a cup holder with a strap. The menu also had sandos, toast and sides besides coffees and lattes. They've recently opened about a month ago and definitely has room to finesse the customizing drink thing. Ordering from the kiosk is rigid so maybe order from the counter instead. The shop is kept clean and the artisan was super friendly and incredibly patient. The wait for the beverage wasn't long either. Such a cute tea shop!!

They offer stuff outside of the rolled ice cream including; smoothies and bubble team. They have a viewing area, which I loved. Ice cream was really good. My only gripe is that they added fruit loops or something to the giant green, which isn't mentioned on the menu. All the people working were nice & quick with getting the ice cream out to us.

PROOF... of incompetence, racism or both…read more My wife is a regular customer and usually stops by for an espresso drink as we do not have machine at home. I typically get nothing as their drinks just don't hit the spot for me (average at best). Usually we park on the side of the street going straight into coffee shop and I wait in the car just in case it needs to be moved. She hops out, gets her drinks and the whole thing takes maybe 3-5 min. Today, I was chilling in the car waiting for her, but all over sudden realized that at least 5 people that placed the orders after her and were served before her (espresso drinks and all). Turns out that she ordered double espresso for her and half-caf/half-decaf for me. The staff couldn't execute the drinks or whatnot (they don't do decaf? don't know what double espresso is?) and just kept her waiting while servicing other customers. At some point I guess, they just stopped responding to her inquiries about the drinks. Finally a different person appeared on the shift, my wife got her money back, and we left. Why racist? Hm... Let me think, would the same thing happen to white American male? That is, waiting for 15 minutes for inept staff? The staff was probably new as my wife have not seen them before, but that is no excuse for the lack of basic decency.

I stopped by Three Little Birds Coffee after getting the same recommendation from two different…read morefoodies. They both told me I had to try the Banana Latte, so I finally made the trip. Parking was easier than I expected. I found a spot right across the street. Walking inside, I immediately noticed how clean, bright, and inviting the café was. There was plenty of seating, and the staff was incredibly friendly from the moment I walked in. Now for the drink everyone was talking about. I ordered the large Banana Latte, which I believe was 20 ounces. Overall, it was very good. The latte was smooth and creamy, and the cold foam gave it a rich, velvety finish. The dusting of cinnamon on top was a nice touch and rounded out each sip really well. What stood out most was the banana flavor. It was bold, natural tasting, and definitely the star of the drink without feeling artificial. My only critique is that I expected to be a little more wowed considering all the hype surrounding it. At **$9.39**, it's also a bit of a premium price for a latte, so that makes the expectations even higher. Even so, it was a quality drink in a welcoming coffee shop, and I'm glad I finally gave it a try. The atmosphere, friendly staff, and unique banana flavor make it worth visiting. I would absolutely come back and order it again, and I'd also be interested in trying more of their menu on my next visit.
