I called to inquire about transfers and dude thought I was conducting corporate espionage... super short and super rude, although, he was trying to make overtures of niceness at the same time (I hate passive aggressive people). He doesn't understand anything about business... it was a business to business call, where I was asking his prices for supply (many people with his operation sell their transfers, or perform as a sub--but in any business, this is what businesses do), but he didn't seem to get the concept, I wasn't calling for any nefarious reason, but from the way he was with me on the phone you'd have thought I did. Guy doesn't seem to understand business which is why he runs a dinky operation. I mean, he even told me he only just discovered the internet (like dude, where you been?). Anyway, there's better, local deals out there than this dude, where you can track your order and pay with paypal (which for this guy is technological mumbo-sourcery)... I'd recommend my boys' at Merch Monster outta Oakland; it's cheaper too (they'll beat Frog and others by 5%) and they print from either screen or from a direct to garment printer (higher quality for one-offs than Frog who will print from whatever, non-industrial grade generic crap printer, one that you probably have in your house right now--no joke--it's the one take away I had from our conversation). Nevertheless, if it's a simple print on a shirt you need, perhaps he can deliver, if it's anything more, forget it, way too much to comprehend for this guy. Here is why Andy at Frog Prints will be my go-to for getting custom printed apparel: 1) NO MINIMUMS. All I needed was a single t-shirt and Andy helped me pick out the best way. Most other custom printing places have minimum quantities for orders. 2) INSANELY FAST SERVICE. There was no additional charge for basically getting the shirt done in less than 2 hours. I emailed my designs to Andy at 3:19pm, I paid via PayPal, and I got an email at 5:03pm that the shirt was done. 3) REASONABLE PRICING. Most other places would charge a premium for doing a single item or ridiculously fast service. I got one custom t-shirt, exactly what I needed, for less than $20 in under 2 hours. I had called around to several other places before choosing Frog Prints, and I can say that for the service, pricing, and speed, there is no place in the Bay Area that can touch them. To address the point that the place is a little difficult to find, that's true. However, Andy emailed me with extremely specific directions and a Google Maps link. The number "200" on the post outside the location is a little difficult to spot from the road, but it's just not that bad. Just follow your GPS or Andy's directions and look for the sign that says, "Rhodesian Ridgeback." Since Frog Prints is just one guy, Andy, he only works by appointment. So, the only "catch," if you can really call it that, is that you can't just drop in on him. Give him a call or send him an email and make an appointment. read more

Ordered shirts from Andy for a race for the weekend. Very happy with the end result. He worked with me to get the right type of shirt and process based on my needs. He was willing to help me clean up my artwork for an additional fee, which I did not need but was nice to offer. Great that he has no minimums and will work with you to order your shirts with other's so he doesn't have to charge you separate shipping. Is everyone here serious? I called looking for information (by information I mean I don't know what I don't know yet, do I?), and all I get is how much it will cost this guy to do one shirt. My company needed shirts made for an upcoming trade show, and of course we waited to the last minute, so I was worried about rushing. Andy was super awesome to work with.
