Fritz great place for breakfast. It's slowly catching on. Great food and great value. Never a wait even if you have a large group. Come check it out.

The aftermath of the sandwiches for our office

We got food from the catering menu for a work lunch. They went above and beyond for us as we had to do a last minute change with some unforeseen circumstances. The Sandwiches were all great, homemade chips and a huge baked goods platter! 10/10 recommend for your next company lunch or personal outing.

    Fries and dipping sauces

Interesting place. Had the fries since they were advertised as Belgian Fries. Having had Belgian fries in Belgium before, these fries are nothing like them. They are tasty, but not authentic at all. Dipping sauces are ok, but missing the Belgian / Dutch frites sauce (mayo type sauce) is odd when everything else under the sun is available.

    Jalapeño burger

Noticed this place as we were walking along the street. The vibe drew us back to try it for lunch. Did not disappoint. The decor and atmosphere was what I expected from this quaint downtown. Service was quick and food looked like it was for a photo shoot. The food tasted as good as it looked. Bun on burger was toasted. Burger was big but not so big you had trouble getting it into your mouth. Small order of fries was more than plenty for two people. Definitely recommend the rosemary garlic dipping sauce for fries. Buffalo chicken wrap had just the right spice. Would definitely make it a regular stop if lived in area.

I use to love this place. I understand it has new owners. They should bring back the music and the delivery.

Three couples have owned the diner since 1961. We tried on a whim. From the outside, the diner has shiny steel sides, like you'd expect. The sign is vintage above the diner. Inside are booths and counter seating. The place was packed when we arrived, but the hostess found a booth for two quickly. The menu offers breakfast or lunch options. There is a daily menu with specials, as well. I selected a lobster croissant with fries off the special menu. Food came out fairly quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive. Water glasses were kept full. My lobster croissant sandwich was packed with big chunks of lobster claw meat. Other than a slice of lettuce, there were no seasoning, so the lobster was the star. The sandwich was excellent! The croissant was fresh and soft. The shoestring fries were crispy and hot. The lunch was excellent and at $18, a bargain. My cousin had a Monte Cristo which is a ham and cheese on French toast. The thin sliced ham was packed thick on the sandwich. She said her sandwich was delicious. There is a covered patio outside, but it wasn't opened during our visit. There is free parking on the side and in front of the diner. There is a step up into the diner, so I'm not sure that there is wheelchair accessibility. Lindy's is adorable, historic and has great food. Well worth a visit.

Day One, I went in and ordered a bacon egg & cheese sandwich. I asked if I could substitute avocado for the cheese. They said no as the avocado is more expensive. I get it, no big deal. I ask for a bacon egg sandwich (no cheese). They take my order along with my coffee and such and I go about my business. I go back to my Air bnb and lo and behold it's an egg only sandwich. I chalk it up to talking about avocados more than I do their listening skills and I move on. Day Two, I go in to give them a second chance. I order a Harvest Bowl & 2 coffees. I pay in cash. I get my cups, fill up my coffees and wait. After a few minutes, I realize that several people have come in, ordered, served and left in front of me. I go up to the counter and ask about my order and find out it was never put in. Because I paid in cash there was no trail. It's now well over 20 minutes and the person who took my order would not even lift her head to acknowledge that she served me. I call someone else over and ask about what to do and they treat me like I'm looking for a free meal. (FYI, visually I am a successful older female). Once they retook my order I quickly went next door to the jewelry shop as I had some time sensitive business there. When I returned, bowl still not ready, but was on the stove. While I was waiting I asked to speak with the manager. Suddenly nobody wanted to be the manager. Once someone came forward, I asked if this type of service was normal. I also asked if they compensate customers who have been ignored. He THEN HAD THE NERVE TO SAY, 'WELL, YOU'RE GETTING THE BOWL FOR FREE'! There were places I wanted him to put said compensation. Never, Never, NEVER say words like that to any customer. The sad part, the food is good. The place is cute. The customer service takes all that away and more. Caitlin, you have a good thing. Don't let your employees ruin it. When I mentioned your business in the jewelry store, they avoid your place too for the same reason.

My partner had the short rib ravioli which was also excellent. We are whiskey/bourbon drinkers and the one thing that whiskey/burboun drinkers like in their old fashioned type drinks are single, large ice rocks and not the little broken ice chips that easily dilutes your drink. These are so easy to make yourself. Just buy an ice tray that makes them. The other thing whiskey/bourbon drinkers like in their drinks are the bourbon cherries and not just the plain maraschino cherries. Just two easy recommendations to elavate the experience. The staff was also very friendly.
