This establishment isn't reliable. We went this evening (Sunday) for live music and doors locked without explanation. Poor

Great date night vibes. No TVs in here just a warning if you want to escape the World Cup games and crowds. The location is money, super convenient right around the corner from House of Blues and Toyota Center. You'll often see a mix of locals and out-of-towners on most nights. Bar area gets lively on weekends, but the service stays on point.. The bartenders here are very knowledgeable, can make a drink off the menu if you asks.. The whiskey selection extensive and the staff actually knows how to guide you through it if you're not sure what you want. Vibe is more of a low lit, cozy, and feels a little upscale without being too pretentious.. Good spot for date night or just grabbing drinks with friends after a show. A solid cocktail spot to checkout

How can you look at pictures of those pies and not go? Well, it was a great decision. I was a bit early and my party wasn't there yet, but they sat me anyway, which was so appreciated. I ended up picking a drink with the recommendation of our waitress and she was spot on. For the three of us, we had split: - Texas Tartare: tenderloin steak, smoked jalapeño, parsley, capers, deviled egg, and toast - Je ne sais quoi oysters - Life is Pici: pici pasta, miso butter, hazelnut crunch, and king trumpet mushrooms - Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: whole chicken with apple & parsley salad, truffle jus, pickles - Olive Oil Cake - Pumpkin Cheesecake with gingersnap crust First of all, THE BEST Olive Oil Cake we've ever had. No joke. We liked it so much, we got 2 slices to go for later. So moist, so soft. Get it. The Pumpkin Cheesecake was good too, but it was completely overshadowed by the olive oil cake. Now, onto the savories. The Texas Tartare was very good. Very well seasoned and I loved how much toast came with it. The oysters were fantastic as well, very fresh and well-shucked. The chicken was so tender, moist, and juicy. Even the white meat was super juicy. Sauces that came with it was very complimentary. Service was great - our waitress was very friendly and helped us pick our meals with her recommendations. I'm back in town next year and I'm seriously going to come back just so I can have that cake.

My favorites were definitely the endive salad and pork belly. I've had friends rave about the pasta, so it could just come down to personal preference! The atmosphere was a bit of a downside. It was quite dark inside, and the tables around us were pretty loud, which made it harder to fully enjoy the dining experience. Overall, the experience was what I expected.

I did their main valet for about $8 on a Thursday. Easily your best bet! It's fun to ask the front staff and make the "journey" to find the place so I won't spoil any of that here. You will eventually have a host who will take you through the experience to get inside. They have a bar experience where you're face to face with the bartenders and a couch seating style. Hanging with the bartenders is more fun as they're fun with a lot of personality. Make sure to let them know if you're celebrating something. High chance you'll get bonus shots/drinks! Every drinks has a cool presentation and is very instagramable.i can't remember the name of mine but it had a mango taste with a dip n dots inspired topping. It's in one of my photos. It was on an other level. I'm not much for sweet drinks but dip n dots are my weakness. It went so hard. Highly recommen

It's a fun gimmick, but less fun when you have to use the restroom and realize that it's back in the lobby and you need an escort to go and to come back. Outside of that, service was incredibly friendly and spent a lot of time at our table explaining the menu and helping us decide what to order. I wish I could remember the specific cocktails that we ordered, but alas, I cannot. The drinks were great and we had a really good time but I'm not going to pretend like the location is super convenient.

We got here at around 8PM on a Tuesday night, and all sat/stood near the bar. Drinks were made and served very promptly. The bartenders definitely know their stuff and there are some classic cocktails here that are popular in other cities like NYC. I saw the sign for their private barrel 9yr Elijah Craig ($11/oz at 130.5 proof) and had to give it a shot. Deliciously strong with vanilla notes and very, very sippable. No regrets, would definitely get it again. Overall, great spot for cocktails that's nice and quiet, I'd come back.
