RUINED NY NIGHT Tell me why this woman is gonna tell me and my girlfriend oh so your not gonna tip after she's giving us our change for our drinks keep in mind this is mine n my girls first time being here. Please speak to her about her attitude that's ridiculous.

Frozen Dr. Pepper Old Fashioned

Ambiance: Dive bar off Westheimer with eclectic vibes, pinball machines galore, and crazy artwork. This is a fun spot perfect for hanging out with friends on a late evening. Bar seating, lounge seating, and a patio area make for great conversation. Make sure to bring quarters for the games! Highly recommend the Frozen Dr. Pepper Old Fashioned. They have specials each day and happy hour during the week until 7pm. Street parking available - does get crowded on busy nights/weekends.

Extremely chill dive bar vibe with indoor and outdoor seating options. My draft IPA was $7 and I'd definitely swing around for the happy hour on the weekend (3-7pm daily). They have some pinball machines inside.

This is a cool dive bar in Montrose with interesting decor and super affordable drinks comparatively speaking (including a tasty mule). They have several pinball machines in the back and a large patio as well. It's a narrow bar that can become quite crowded. But everyone seemed friendly and had a good vibe on a Saturday night. And even though it's an intimate space indoors, it never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. I definitely want to return so I can enjoy their patio more and also check out their happy hour.

lovely patio & funky, edgey vibe inside. so many resources in the bathroom, definitely a spot for the girls & i am here for it!

What makes this dive bar unique is its feminist/provocative decoration, extensive whisky and bourbon selection, and the pinball machines in the back. The beer selection was okay. I got to sample one of their dark beers on draft, the B-52, which had a balanced coffee/toasty flavor. Ended up ordering different canned beer to try out but regret no having ordered the B-52 one. It looks like they're dog-friendly, which is always a plus. :)

I had an amazing time at this place, and I want to share my honest review. Some of the other reviews were negative, but I don't agree with them at all. This is what I experienced: the bartender Jen was awesome. She was quick, friendly and fun to talk to. She made me feel welcome and comfortable. I would come back just to see her. The place had a great vibe with dim lights, pinball machines and a photobooth. It was perfect for a date night or a relaxing drink after work. I sat at the bar and met one of the owners Scott B. He was so cool and down to earth. He knew a lot about whiskey, pinballs and business. He was very interesting and easy to chat with. I hope to see him again. They have a huge collection of whiskey that is impressive. The choices are great and the servings are generous. I wish I lived closer to this place because I would go there often. I highly recommend you check it out for yourself. Parking: Street parking.

The whiskey selection extensive and the staff actually knows how to guide you through it if you're not sure what you want. Vibe is more of a low lit, cozy, and feels a little upscale without being too pretentious.. Good spot for date night or just grabbing drinks with friends after a show. How can you look at pictures of those pies and not go? Well, it was a great decision. I was a bit early and my party wasn't there yet, but they sat me anyway, which was so appreciated. I ended up picking a drink with the recommendation of our waitress and she was spot on. For the three of us, we had split: - Texas Tartare: tenderloin steak, smoked jalapeño, parsley, capers, deviled egg, and toast - Je ne sais quoi oysters - Life is Pici: pici pasta, miso butter, hazelnut crunch, and king trumpet mushrooms - Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: whole chicken with apple & parsley salad, truffle jus, pickles - Olive Oil Cake - Pumpkin Cheesecake with gingersnap crust First of all, THE BEST Olive Oil Cake we've ever had. No joke. We liked it so much, we got 2 slices to go for later. So moist, so soft. Get it. The Pumpkin Cheesecake was good too, but it was completely overshadowed by the olive oil cake. Now, onto the savories. The Texas Tartare was very good. Very well seasoned and I loved how much toast came with it. The oysters were fantastic as well, very fresh and well-shucked. The chicken was so tender, moist, and juicy. Even the white meat was super juicy. Sauces that came with it was very complimentary. Service was great - our waitress was very friendly and helped us pick our meals with her recommendations. I'm back in town next year and I'm seriously going to come back just so I can have that cake.

I choose to sit at the bar because the bartender is always there in my thinking is that they constantly be available for orders or to answer any questions. Unfortunately, the bartender was frequently away from the bar area, which made my reasoning, not as useful as I had hoped. If you follow my reviews, you might have noticed that I'm a stickler on attention to detail. When the bartender brought me silverware in a napkin, that was obviously soiled, it gave me cause for concern. I realize this is not a five-star restaurant nor did I expect that level of service. However, if the bartender were paying attention, this never would or should have happened. I had a margarita on the rocks with salt and it was very good. After bringing my drink the bartender came back and asked if so wanted an appetizer. I tried several of the drinks there sex on the beach this evening left a lot to be desired. I ordered from the Happy Hour menu. I tried the lamb chop & crispy pan seared crab cakes.. OMG the lamb chop was all that! It was seared perfectly and juicy, so tender! After I took a couple of bites from the lamb chop, I positioned it on the plate so that I could show how juicy it was and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, because my phone locked, and I hadn't saved the pictures that I had uploaded at that point the image was lost. The crabcakes came with a seafood sauce that contained shrimp and crawfish. I wanted to try the crab cake by itself. I found the outside to be nice and crispy and the inside was moist and juicy. Again, I took a picture of this that was lost and not saved. I will do better in the future. I visit this business on Poetry night, which occurs on Thursday evenings. The crowd is lively and attentive.. They have enough staff to cover all the customers which is good from a Customer Service perspective. I wish there was a class that would assist people like myself to more efficiently and effectively use this platform on my phone. I took several photos that I believe reviewers would love to see. I think they could possibly even cause salvation. I tried the body heat drink that contains jalapeños. The heat was nice, but overpowered the other ingredients in the drink, making it not so great from my perspective. For me, it's like pairing a strong cigar with a liquor that can stand up to and situate the experience. Unfortunately, this drink missed the mark. I say this because the constituent components were in my opinion not in proper proportions. I trust you find my review thorough and informative. Best wishes. GN3
