Awesome drive through! I've used the drive through, maybe 6 times in the past two weeks because we've been busy with a new business, and it's been great service every time! Fast, friendly, and efficient!! All things I look for in a drive through! Thanks Frischs, for doing what you do! read more

Nasty ripoff Sat in the drive thru forever and it was not worth it. Beer cheese came clumped in cup. Had clearly never been warmed up as there were gaps between the side of the cup and the clumps of cheese sauce. If it had been heated and poured into the cup and then cooled, those gaps wouldn't have existed. Breaded chicken sandwich tasted of fish oil. Also, the chicken on the GRILLED chicken sandwich tasted of fish oil. CHICKEN SHOULDN'T TASTE LIKE FISH! How nasty. The sodas and the fries were fine. When you spend $30+ you expect to get more edible food than 2 med fries and 2 med cokes. Just absolutely disgusting. read more

Pulled me forward for 25 minutes for 2 burgers and fries. Extra sauces were missing. Also had to go in to get my food, not sure what I was thinking going here for a quick meal read more

OMG how do I start? My order: Burger, Fries, Mac'n'cheese, sauce, and a Diet Coke. What I get: Mac'n'cheese. It is no wonder you guys are going out of business! Honestly I would rather eat my own poop instead of your food... that tastes like poop. (Except the Mac'n'cheese) read more

Hit the Independence location at 10:00 pm service was great thru the drive thru and the food was hot and fresh.

It's a 50/50 shot at this location. If your order is right / fresh / edible. I did try a new menu item today just to see if they stumbled on something. I ordered along with the rest of my wrong order a hot dog with chili and cheese. Maybe they didn't think this to go item through. It was completely spread over a 6 inch go container by time they put it in bag and handed it to me. Do better frisches. read more

Frisch's Big Boy - Diners Near Me - Independence, Kentucky

I gave it one star because the don't allow-0. Order unsweetened tea and sweet tea, sent it back got sweet tea again. Ask for Coke Zero and they were out. Order the did and chips and got the fish that comes on the fish sandwich. When I point out it was the wrong fish the waitress explain the manager had decided to you that fish instead of the filets. No offer to give me what I'd actually ordered. Wife ask for tart sauce and they brought out packets. Avoid this place you aren't that hungry, go next door to McDonalds. read more

I just can't with this location anymore and despite having some kind people working there, as a whole it just never comes together for me. Tonight, a simple drive through order which was a simple Brawny Lad, Super Big Boy and some Mozzarella sticks. For whatever reason, have to pull up because it is supposedly taken longer. Okay, do so and whatever minutes later bag is presented to me. Get home open bag, no SuperBig Boy boy but a Buddy whatever that is. Go back, let them know, manager re-orders a new order, cool. Wait around for another 5 to 10 minutes so they cam re-make whole order. Get the bag, get home, again...are you kidding me? Back out again, and this time it's just give me a refund and my money back...end up going next door to MacDonald's and in and out faster than the first time waiting in drive thru. Nah, I'm done with this place. read more

This location has always had problems. Went for salad bar a couple of nights ago and it was disgusting. Looked like most of the food had been there all day. Not once did I see an employee give it any attention. Ordered burger instead, all it had on it was very old lettuce and a pickle, suppose to be a cheese burger, onion rings were good. Don't understand looked like they had plenty of help, but it's mainly kids. Don't see how it is still in business. read more

Use to be my favorite sit down restaurant. I was there at least 4 or 5 times a week. I would go to lunch with a group of friends from work or take my family there on the weekend and even pop in by myself. That has all changed with their new way of doing things. Frisch's is no longer a family restaurant. You can't sit down, order your drinks, leisurely look at the menu and decide what sounds good, enjoying quality time with your family and friends while waiting for your food. Now you walk in, wait in line, very quickly order your whole families food at the register where you are then handed a number and you get seated, they bring your food, you eat and leave. Fast food service for full restaurant prices. I think I will just to McDonalds from now on, it will be just as not satisftying as the new Frisch's. Don't waste your money. read more

2 large drinks & 2 grilled cheeses (fancy right?) was almost $17!!!! Nothing extra, no flavorings (they didn't have any). Reminder of why I hate fast food. read more

Lukewarm food, slow service, quality of food and portion sizes are lacking. Used to be a great place.

My review..just left drive thur..of frisch.. cold big boys ...cold onion rings plus onion rings were old and ordered slice of coconut cream pie...was given a small irregular slice for $4.19 ugh ...very very disappointed because I had to pull up in my car and wait for order to be brought to my car and I knew after a period of waiting food would be hot and fresh...not so so sad that customers are treated thisway.poor quality of food one star rating read more

The food is always hot, tasty and plentiful. Management has employed some of the most polite and helpful young staff members I have ever encountered lately. The restaurant went through an update a couple years ago and has managed to maintain its cleanliness. This Frisches has come a long way in a short time! read more

Just no....please save your time and money. Terrible service. Terrible quality for a usually great chain.

The manager did offer me a gift certificate, which I declined. Like I said, I will never go back ! read more

After waiting in drive thur forever ordered fish sand with onion rings and a steak house burger whatever the special that is on the board outside with onion rings and a sweet tea I must say I wouldn't feed this food to my dog.$30 is what I spent tea tasted like it the container never has been cleaned. Sandwich if that's what u want to call it was nothing like the pic of it and thd fish sandwich was over fried read more

Granted it was early in the morning (right at opening) after a snowfall (no accumulation), but I was really disappointed with this place. Some of the food on the bar was cold or lukewarm at best. I think they must put them in the steam table to finish warming them. The service wasn't anything that's worth mentioning. There was no refill on the small coffee pot (3-4 cups) that was brought out. The biscuits were hard on the bottom (think dog biscuit) and not browned on top, and the gravy was runny. The only positive thing I can say is that the pineapple was ripe. You should avoid this place. read more

I will never eat here again. Just last experience just did me in. I ordered fried pickles which I love fried pickles are like little chips and I got him home and they were swimming in grease I didn't want to go back out so I didn't take him back so today I order fried pickles I said please don't let him swim in grease they're supposed to be like chips so I got home and they were like a hot noodle just swimming in Grease. This time I took it back and she' said not supposed to give you a refund I said you're not going to give me a refund for those she finally did. And I've had too many big boys where they looked and taste like they had been sitting on the counter for quite a while. And when I picked up the second order of pickles any good customer service would say well these are on us but they didn't even offer read more

The Independence Ky is a place to avoid. The breakfast bar had something on it that made me sick. I think it was the goetta. Been sick for two hours since eating there. I would RUN from this place. read more

So I ordered the meatloaf sandwich and all I can say is do not order that or the meatloaf dinner. It was burnt when it made it home for me to eat. I had to call and complain that it was not edible so the manager said they would make a new one for me. I got the new one and it was still burnt but only around the edges so I could at least eat the middle of it where before I couldn't eat any of it. It shouldn't be that hard to cook meatloaf. read more

This place is ridiculous and very bad at what they do first off ur in the drive thru for at least 40 mins no matter what ur order i have to turn my car off to save gas once i had a car over heat waiting they charge for extra cheese and u get less than a ounce and today they didn't have what I wanted they didn't have lettuce tomato or ham and they said they only had enough patties to do single burgers but not doubles with!! And when we made it to the drive thru they just snatched the money shut the window than a different lady came to the window opened it and stared at us for a good two mins then shut the window only to open it and ask if the food in the bag was ours I asked for a receipt and they just laughed and shut the window . me and my family deal with everyone we go there. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I'm surprised my wife had me go back after less than a month ago we was at the breakfast bar and found a mouse eating eggs from the bar!! Horrible place!!! Only gave a star cause I was forced too read more

I NEVER leave a negative review, even if I don't have a good experience...But....This location seems to really be struggling with maintaining servers and good service. We've given them chances on three different occasions, but have yet to have great service in a timely fashion. Seems like they may need an intervention from home office. read more

Great breakfast. Had the bowl with gravy on it. Arrived hot and tasted great. Price was very reasonable. Service was spot on. Great way to start my Saturday morning. Will definitely go back read more

I tried the new Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Not very impressed! The old philly steak sandwich was way better! Not sure why they ever removed it from their menu and then bring another one back that doesn't hold a candle to the old one! Probably won't order that again! read more

If you want your meal to be perfect make sure Chef Scott is cooking!! Best Frisch's cook ever!!! Delicious!!!

Ordered 2 hamburger meals and spent a bit more than I thought it would be but, went for breakfast and spent way less. Service is good and it's nearby and an alternative to McDonald's and Wendy's but I'd you're looking to stretch a $1, not advisable. Definitely not dissing the place as the food is good and again, $12 for breakfast for 2 people is pretty dang good. We will be back! read more

This is probably the worst Frisch's ever! I was quite excited when the area build this Frisch's instead of always having to go to Ft. Wright. I have given this establishment three different occasions months apart and the service nor the food has improved. The food is never hot, lukewarm at best. The service is terrible, even the manager is clueless and could care less. My best advice is to avoid this place at all cost. Go next door to McDonald's you will get better service. read more

I would give it zero but I want everyone to know how bad it has become.. To wait 30 minutes for food is ridiculous and still not have it. Something has changed and it is not good. Time to find another place for breakfast. read more

Well, like the old saying goes, "how many times can you skin a sheep?" I will never order from here again. I ordered here under the guise of "Nathan's restaurant" I've looked up Frisch big boy on here and determined not to buy, but on the DoorDash app this restaurant was listed as Nathan's. Very pricey! $75-ish for bunk. I was expecting great quality but instead you could get better food at sonic for a quarter of the price. My wife's angus beef sandwich had a bonus noodle in it, my kids say they even managed to mess up plain hotdogs, however seemingly impossible. A chili cheese hotdog came with the chili and cheese on the side, spilled in a separate container, and not enough chili or cheese for even half a hotdog. I know it may sound mean but I thought that COVID had wiped out all the bad restaurants but I was sadly mistaken. Do not, I repeat, do not buy food from here if you value your money and appreciate good food. read more

2 years ago we came here and it was awful, today was maybe a little better! Got the burger and fries and the burger was ok. Major lack of toppings. And the fries were soggy again. Our server was nice but the whole place was running on slow motion. Place was not even a quarter full and it took for ever. Table next to us even got up and left it took so long. read more

These photos were taken after I had ordered a $70 order to-go. I had already gotten home and my whole family was about to eat when one of them came down and showed me their "crispy chicken sandwich". So we then go to check the other food, fried pickles were soggy and undercooked. Big Boys A STAPLE has NOTHING on it. Looked like they dropped it a couple times and put it in a bag. I wasn't even mad, I just wanted the money back because we weren't going to eat that. When we went back to Frisch's with the sandwich in hand the manager Brian told us we were liars and it did not make us sick. No not physically ill but ill in a case no one was going to eat that food after seeing those sandwich's. He even went as far as to say " if you would have dined in, it would have been a different story" This is absolutely absurd, I have NEVER been to a place so disrespectful. Like I said I was totally fine that the food was gross, I just wanted my money back. This was a $70 order! I even told them they could keep the $5 for the tartar jar because that was the only thing that was edible. read more

Not a fan of this location, at all. Been here twice and each time it sucks. First time they got my order wrong (went through drivetru) by the time I got home I didn't both going back, I ate it. But still it was wrong. Went back a week ago (drivetru again) and the person taking my order so so rude that when I got to the window I was going to ask for a manager. When I finally got to the window, the person taking my order WAS THE MANAGER! Never again will I be going to this location. read more

I want to give them 0 stars but that's not an option. I ordered threw the drive thru and order was repeated and told amount and to pull forward. Great so far... but as I pulled around the guy in front of me waiting at the window was complaining about something I couldn't hear that well and I watched as they refunded his money. I should have took that as a sign. Got to the window where my order was repeated sorta.. 2 buddy boys fries coleslaw 3 ice teas. Problem started when I was handed the teas which was supposed to be larges and these were regular. Which upon questioning it was told that what is on the ticket. So I accepted as my fault for not checking the screen to make sure they were larges when I ordered. After receiving my food as I pulled away I checked and there wasn't fries In the bag. Now I have to go inside. While waiting at register for help I watch as waitress after waitress walk by for atheist 4 or 5 minutes when 1 finally ask if I needed help. Told her I was shorted fries from drive thru showed her the receipt and she took it and went and told them what I was waiting for. I watched them bag up 6 orders of fries for 3 different orders while I was just waiting g for the 2 I was shorted. This hole time while the rest of my food getting cold. Finally a boy comes up and asked if I was the 1 missing fires and that he'll be right back. 5 minutes later I finally received my fries and no apology was giving. Then he acted like a ass when I asked for my receipt back. I'm officially done with ALL FRISCH'S read more
