Years ago this was the best darn walk-thru haunted house! Things have certainly changed over the years. There were barely an actors and you really were just walking through a bunch of props. I regret visiting and wish I could get my money back.

I'm a harsh critic and I still love this place. I've been three times this season and I live 45 minutes away. Going back for Halloween. It's a lot of fun. Oh, I also went in by myself... highly recommend!

The guy with the bunny, in the nurse's costume, is the one who assaulted my friend and me repeatedly after we asked him not to.

The level of artistry was impressive & went way beyond cheap jump scares. The staff NEVER broke character, from roller skating zombies, to fortune tellers, to mafiosos, no one was phoning it in. The walk thru of attractions was guided, but not rushed, & allowed just enough recovery time in between haunts. Each theme was different, from oceanic scares to a haunted ice cream truck. I found myself paying attention to the elaborate displays instead of just being shoved thru a dark corridor like cattle as people grab at you. The prison backdrop lends it's own level of creepiness, peering into dark cells & exam rooms w/ only moonlight to illuminate the stone walls. It inspired us to take the prison tour, which we were glad was available since we were unable to return during day hours. The Speakeasy/Al Capone's Cell was the highlight. Having a drink (even tho it was barely a drink) inside the cells being entertained by singers & performers was a unique experience. We initially thought, 2 hours max & grumbled at the cost. Turns out, we spent the entire night & had so much fun we bought extras. VIP really only gets you past the long a** line out front, but entry into the speakeasy allows an interaction w/ the players well worth the additional cost. We stayed until the very last performance, literally the last 2 people to exit the attraction. At no point did staff make us feel we overstayed. Clearly the organizers gained control over mishaps from last year, as our experience was nothing like the reviews that almost discouraged us from attending. If what you enjoy is a bunch of screaming teens who just want to push past you in an overly orchestrated frenzy, this is NOT the event for you! It is not overly scary or gory. It is a very professional, artistic, horror carnival that has a little something for everyone- history, some scares, & performance art.

I enjoyed going from one haunted attraction to another. In the past few years I felt like they were going in the direction of a hangout and drinking and less haunted attractions. But, this year they evened it out. It was a great. There was two sections to hang out and have a drink. A great way to spend your time while waiting for lines or a way to calm your nerves. I enjoyed having one haunted house after another. The special effects and the decor for the houses really were kicked up a notch this year, 2025. Ordering tickets online is very easy, and I always buy the parking pass for the zoo because it is convenient. The pricing is and can be pricy, but it is a fundraiser. So I do not really complain about it. The bus drivers were great and engaging both to there and back. I enjoyed the stories and the music. Overall this has always been my favorite haunted attraction in Philly. It really never fails. I highly recommend taking a tour outside of the Halloween time frame. I have done one of them before and loved it.

The lines were easy to navigate for us but other people seemed confused about validating tickets. Buying online helps avoid the wait & i did just that when I was being passenger princess on the ride. The hayride was really great! Full of big decor & things to pop out when you least expect it. The hayride was a hit for me. The cornmaze and haunted house have people going in all at once so it really prevents people from being spooked when you can already see whats going to happen. While they were great, they really made it harder to be scared because no one was there to help regulate the flow. It really ruined the experience. If they could just get a handle on that, itd be a 5 star.

I purchased the tickets ahead which was pricey but overall worth it! The tickets included admittance to the three attractions which were the haunted house, hayride and the corn maze. My fav was the corn maze, the actors did a good job with jumping out at random moments. I definetly got a good scare or two lol! My only gripe was the long lines, each attraction took about 40 minutes to enter due to the long lines. At the end we got cinnamon sugar donuts which were hot and delicious!

They did a good job of trying to scare you with using fog or light that blinked a lot. I do feel like they could have done a better job with the haunting. Like there was one section where there was a tunnel and it was too foggy to see anything. There were a ton of mannequins you had to walk past. I think it would have been nice if they would have had some actual people in there so they could come back from behind and scare you. The haunt also featured palm readers and had a bar where they were also playing live music. There were some characters dressed up near the bar as well which was interesting. The staff was really friendly and took an ample amount of pictures for us. If you bought premium tickets, there was a separate line and they had access to a VIP bar as well (to be honest, it didn't seem worth it to me but I also wasn't drinking).

I don't like that you dint have a choice of which order to do the attractions in that you have to do them in order and there's nothing really in between like a bonfire or snacks, bathrooms were plentiful though. Also my favorite part of haunted places is always the hayride so I missed that but again everything that was there was really good. The asylum part itself was the best part. There was some sort of incident at the end and we were rushed out and it was hush hush so we didn't get snacks or shopping at the end but it's ok the kids got frosty's at Wendy's on the way home. I would recommend and do it again.

I loved it, and definitely recommend this attraction. Very gory, compared to some of the other PA haunted houses/hayrides/etc. And at one point a monster pops and sprays water at you. That was very amusing to my group, though I read one reviewer here describe it as "physical assault" (lol). Very fun time and if they update it through the years, I'd happily come back and see what new crazy stuff they have for us.

After taxes and fees, tickets for a 7:00 time slot on Friday were $49 apiece. Definitely expensive, but I felt we easily got our money's worth. It's in the middle of nowhere south of Mullica Hill. We got there around 6:40 and parking was easy with floodlights in the lot and many signs and attendants guiding cars. There are four different attractions included in the ticket. It starts with a hayride, then onto three different areas that you walk through. Each area is an absolute assault on the senses: loud music and sound effects, actors jump scaring you, running at you screaming with chainsaws, flashing lights and bursts of fire everywhere. Definitely fun but not for the faint of heart. Everything here is truly next level from the costumes and makeup on the actors, to the pyro technics, to the hundreds of animatronics, and the overall attention to detail in the set designs. Afterwards they have campfires to sit by and lots of food for purchase. It was really nice to sit and just people watch and enjoy the atmosphere.
