Puttshack Philly is such a fun spot in Center City. The tech driven courses and overall vibe make…read moreit way more exciting than traditional mini golf. We did have a little confusion at check in because the front desk didn't really explain how the courses worked, but Nylla completely turned it around. She was awesome, super knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through everything so we could actually enjoy the full experience. After that, it was smooth sailing and we had a blast. Huge shoutout to Nylla for making the night great. We'll definitely be back. Great deal on Happy Hour drinks as well.

They have a huge footprint in Liberty Place with 4 9 hole courses and a large bar/dining area, You can RSVP online, but I think they take walk-ins too. We got there a little early and headed to the bar for a drink. We drank the beer on tap, but they were making a variety of beautiful cocktails behind the bar. When it's your turn you head to your course, they are distinctly named: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Amber, each with 9 holes. Pickup your putter and get your ball from your Puttnation rep at the beginning of each course. It's not your typical mini golf course. The balls have chips and are assigned to golfers. Each golfer finishes the hike before the next golfer begins. It automatically counts your strokes and keeps score. There are additional games of chance built into the game and a chance to win bonus points. True or False, Trivia, Connect 4, and more. So it's not based on the fewest strokes, but the most points. It was a lot of fun and I'd definitely do it again. I wish the courses were more unique...out of the 36 holes there were numerous repeats that appeared in all of the courses. You can skip around on your course as well, the ball knows who you are when you put it on the tee. Just don't do the 9th hole because it doesn't return your ball! Service at the bar was fast and friendly. I'd say the same of all the staff we interacted with, from the host station, to the coat check, the bar, and on the course.

Waitress was lovely young lady who offered recommendations when asked. However, at times I had to repeat requests -- sour cream for the quesadilla. We ordered: Ultimate Tennessee LIT -- New Amsterdam Vodka, Bacardi Silver Rum, Old Smoky Strawberry Moonshine, premium citrus sour and strawberry topped with Sprite and a test tube shot of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey Grilled Chicken Quesadilla -- Grilled fajita chicken and melted cheeses inside a crispy and cheesy flour tortilla. Served with house made guacamole and our salsa. Bistro Steak and Shrimp Alfredo -- 5 oz Fire-grilled sliced sirloin steak on a bed of linguine, tossed with shrimp, mushrooms, grape tomatoes and lobster Alfredo sauce. Topped with parsley and Parmesan cheese Sweet Apple Pecan Salad with Grilled Chicken -- Marinated chicken breast, crisp apple slices, candied pecans, and crumbled bleu cheese tossed with romaine in raspberry vinaigrette My son ordered Mozzarella Sticks and something else, I can't remember. The food came out quickly and at a nice temperature. Everything was delicious to taste. The atmosphere was not as loud in the restaurant portion of the facility. We had a TV over our table but it wasn't too loud that we couldn't hold a conversation. After eating, of course we went to play games. I had old D&B cards that still had coins and tickets (which we consolidated). I didn't play too many games because a lot them cost a lot of coins. We earned a lot of tickets but not enough for anything good in prize store. Dave & Buster's keeps prizes at such high ticket value to get you come in and spend a lot of money. There's NO WAY anyone is getting those high ticket items ever. Will probably return sparingly for the food.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza for my child and she was sent what looked like bread sticks. The bigger issue was the customer service. The bar tender told me to grab a table. I cleaned the table myself, sat down with my 4‑year‑old, and a server immediately approached me and claimed someone was waiting for it and that "her manager just cleaned it." That was simply untrue. The wipes I used to clean the table were pushed to the side. Her tone and attitude were completely unprofessional, and I moved to avoid a scene in front of my child. The table stayed empty the entire time we were there. Between the poor food and the disrespectful service, I will not be returning to this location.

It's free to play, there is 1 winning team/round, and prizes include a round of drinks for the table. Teams are 4 people or less, so if you come as a large group, be prepared to split up your team! There are also a lot of games, both free and paid: shuffle board, table shuffle board, pool, air hockey, test your strength punching bag, arcade games, etc. I tried the $10 lunch special which runs from Monday-Friday from 12PM - 3PM of a burger, chips and a beer. I substituted the beer for a soda. It was a pretty standard burger and fries but it was made quickly and the price is hard to beat. We came at 12 exactly and found they opened ~10 minutes late, so if you are thinking of trying the lunch special, I would come a little bit past 12 and not on time. Overall, the Post is a fun and affordable hangout location if you're looking to eat and hang out with friends for Happy Hour or to grab a quick bite!
