If you're on a date, you'll probably want to make a reservation at the spooky Robin's Nest Restaurant at the opening of the outdoor festival, before meandering through the creepy, dark streets brimming with interesting characters. If you're on a friend date, you may want to avoid the intimate restaurant and head straight to the beer garden, the creepy teddy bear shop, or the ghost hunter store. Or, of course, the VooDoo Bar. Like the others have said, do NOT bring your kids here. You're ruining it for everyone when you do that crap. Two downfalls (aside from the kid infestation) of the event: -Lack of bathrooms -Lack of food vendors I stood in a line for some beautiful porta potties for what felt like a really-really long time. The guy behind me in line kept drunkenly yelling at the people in the stalls... as if they really wanted to take their time and enjoy themselves in there or something. After finally relieving myself, I then spent an absurd amount of time waiting for some chicken tenders. Get some more food vendors and bathroom options, Witches Ball, and you're golden. There are crafters, vendors, food, and definitely plenty of drinks. The cornerstone of this event in my opinion is the costume contest. People go all out for this and it's really a sight to see! I paid fifteen extra bucks for this and it was well worth it. We got in at 7:45, our scheduled start time, pretty much just walked right up, told the gatekeeper how many people we had, and she let us right in. Walking at a steady pace, and avoiding running into the people ahead of us, or being bumped into by the people behind us, we spent about twenty minutes altogether inside the haunted house. I loved it, and definitely recommend this attraction. Very gory, compared to some of the other PA haunted houses/hayrides/etc. And at one point a monster pops and sprays water at you. That was very amusing to my group, though I read one reviewer here describe it as "physical assault" (lol). Very fun time and if they update it through the years, I'd happily come back and see what new crazy stuff they have for us.

The day of, Clyde called me to confirm and let me know he and the others would be here. They all showed up promptly and didn't expect me to entertain them until we were ready for them to start. The show itself was absolute HILARITY!!! We chose the holiday murder mystery based off of A Christmas Carol. Each actor was literal perfection, my whole office was in tears! Highly Highly Highly recommend for any occasion. They have the capability of doing huge shows for hundreds of people and small shows like for my office of only 25 people! Absolutely affordable and a great value for prime entertainment that will come to you!

The goggles never touch your face. There are several choices of games to pick from. Ranging from Easy to Hard. My wife and I had never played VR type games before. I'd recommend saving money and only buying one or two pairs for a family or group. You won't want to wear them full time anyway and can just take turns viewing specific exhibits with the glasses on. They also offer military discount. Like others have said, the staff doesn't really explain how to do the puzzle. We didn't end up doing it but, but it seems to be some clues hidden in each room to solve a mystery such as reading the Mayor's emails on the computer on his desk. My wife and I drove three and a half hours to take part in Miss Lilly's Séance, three and a half hours to drive back home, and it was well worth the drive. Miss Lilly's Séance Parlor is located in Mill Race Village in Mt Holly NJ. It makes no bones about it being a theatrical recreation of a séance. If you're going with the intention of contacting dearly departed Aunt Boo, forget about it. But, if you're looking for some scares, a fun evening out and don't want to drive down to Disney World to see The Haunted Mansion, Miss Lilly's Séance Parlor is the ticket you should seek. You need to make reservations to attend the séance. Seating is limited to ten people per showing. The séance is run on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Don't be late, because show times begin promptly at the times noted. Parking is available in a lot adjacent to the house that Miss Lilly's Séance is held in. Spots should be available since most of the shops in the village close at 6pm and the first séance is at 7pm. The evening begins with you waiting on the narrow porch of what was once an abandoned house. Thomas Greenfield, the show's creator, comes out for the greeting and tells you that in a few moments the door will open and you will be invited in. You enter what looks like the inside of an abandoned building and you're invited to take a seat on the couches and chairs available in the living room. The show has begun. What happens next would be a spoiler to those looking to experience this for themselves, so I won't describe exactly what happens between the walls of Miss Lilly's seance. Instead I'll say that the experience is like being on an interactive dark ride (for those that know what a dark ride is). It's also like being the actor on the set of a séance movie and instead of the special effects being done post-production via green screen and CGI technology, the special effects are happening in real time all around you. Don't be afraid to interact and be a part of the evening. It's a thrilling ride unlike anything you've experienced before. It's open year-round. Make your reservations soon, because once word gets out about how cool this is, they'll be booked weeks, if not months in advance.
