Fabian and his crew were amazing. They showed up on time to prune our large oak tree and overgrown strawberry tree. From start to finish, including clean up, took less than 2 hours. Our trees look amazing. Fabian was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. Their prices are very reasonable and well worth the money. We will definitely be using them for our tree care in the future. read more

Fabian is deeply knowledgeable about what needs to be done to ensure your trees are healthy and vibrant. He also has a great aesthetic sense and trimmed our trees to showcase them while creating an overall balance in the whole yard. He quoted a very reasonable price, showed-up with his team on time, knocked the work out fast, and left our yard looking fantastic. I cannot recommend this company enough. They are awesome. read more

Love me some friendly tree service!! That also happens to come with friendly and efficient crew! They showed up to cut down a fairly large oak tree on time and had the whole thing down and cleaned up in about 2 hours... and I'm pretty sure they left it cleaner than when they got there!! I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again and again!!!! read more

Fabian and his team were great. The turn around between getting a quote and having our tree removed was about a week. His quote for the removal of our dead birch tree was very reasonable. His crew got the job done in less than an hour and did a great job cleaning up. I know I'll have more trees/stumps to remove in the future and will definitely go through them again. read more

After getting several bids on my tree work, I selected Friendly Tree Care and I am very happy with the job that they did for me. Starting with the bid, scheduling and staying in constant contact I was very pleased with the customer service they provided. I was having about 20 or so nuisance trees removed so it was a pretty big job and on top of that, they had to be careful of my pool and pool equipment. They were meticulous and professional from start to finish. They left my yard cleaner than when they arrived. I would highly recommend them! read more

Thank you Fabian and the team for a great job and outstanding service. The team took down six trees very professionally and safely. Also special thanks to Gustavo for doing a great job pruning the fruit trees. It was nice chatting with you about the cherry tree and thanks for pointing out so quickly the three grafts on the tree which indicated that I would not need to plant another cherry tree (as most cherry trees do not self pollinate and need other trees to produce fruites). I will be recommending you to any friends needing tree service. -Josh read more

Fabian and his crew did a great job! Showed up on time (even in the rain), got right to work, and cleaned everything up. Now I don't have to worry about tree limbs falling on the power lines this winter. Thank you Friendly Tree Care! read more

Very professional and quick! In less than 4 hours they took a 100+ foot sycamore and reduced it in to an almost-indistinguishable mound on the ground. Not a trace of the tree otherwise. Even worked around a difficult neighbor refusing to move their trailer. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

Fast friendly service with great rates. I needed a tree root that was damaging my back patio removed asap. Fabian bid the job the next day and got us on their schedule for the same week. We had to go out of town unexpectedly and they were very understanding and accommodating to our schedule. We had the tree root removed yesterday and are very happy with the work that was done and also how clean the yard was left when it was finished. read more

Fabian was responsive, professional, and fair. Friendly Tree Care took care of my tree that had not been pruned in years and, my neighbors back yard in just a few hours. They took very good care of the property and cleaned up leaving the yards spotless. His quote was very reasonable and He will be the only person I contact for tree services. read more

There is a lot to say here about how awesome Fabian and his company are, but if you read no further know this: he gave me a professional knowledgable assessment of the job, a fair bid, and had patience with us when they discovered an unexpected nest of very aggressive yellow jackets under the work area that required not one, but two trips by an exterminator to solve. For those still reading here's more: The assessment: Fabian walked my property and carefully looked over all three trees I was looking to have work done on. He explained what he felt needed to be done and taught me about the trees I have (2 large blue oaks we wanted cleaned up and one form of pear tree we had removed). He noted previous work on the trees that had been sloppy, requiring the trees to work harder to heal, and explained what he would do if given then the job. He came across as very very knowledgable. I immediately knew I could trust my beautiful trees to him. The bid: we got three bids and while Fabian wasn't the cheapest, the fact that he carried his own insurance and was extremely knowledgeable was worth paying a bit more for me. The work: the short version is that the work was very well done. My oak trees are beautiful with all the extra weight being removed and the cuts carefully done to ensure each tree will remain healthy for years and years to come. That alone is enough to recommend Fabian. However, we had.... Bees: The work crew discovered a bees' nest in the ground under one of our trees on their first visit to work the trees. The crew was able to complete the work on 2 other trees but the bees prevented work on one of the large oaks. Each member of the crew was stung, one being stung at least SIX times! I felt terrible and tried to pay Fabian when they had to leave the job, but he refused payment and said he would only get paid when the job was done. Making a long story short: the first exterminator failed to find the nest (although we thought he had) and Fabian made one more bee-swarmed trip. He was again patient with us and told me he would come back once the bees were gone. As I have already said we solved the bee problem and the crew was able to perform the job a couple of weeks later. For his professionalism, knowledge, and customer service there is no other company I will ever use with my trees. You should use them too. read more

Great company. I have had Fabian and his crew complete two tree projects at my home in the last couple of years. On both occasions, the crew arrived on time (or early!) did a fantastic job and left my yard impeccably clean when they finished. Fabian trimmed a Chinese Pistache at our rental home in Fair Oaks. We live in the Bay Area and were pleased that we could trust him to do a great job for us. Looking forward to having him help us with the rest of our trees. Thank you Fabian read more

These guys rock! From the moment I called through the end of the job, I had nothing but a positive experience with Fabian and his team. I called for an estimate on a huge pine tree that had died and several others we wanted removed and/or trimmed up. I received a call back I think that day or the next. Fabian came out and his estimate was well below the other one I had received. He was also very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to start the job the following week. He and his team arrived early (wow - imagine that!) and worked diligently until the project was complete. I was amazed at how much they got done in such little time and the cleanup was commendable. Very professional, reliable, and dependable. Also, they were very respectful and courteous to our neighbors. You won't go wrong with these guys and they work so well together. read more

Couldn't believe how organized, friendly, kind and professional Fabian and his crew were. Not only did they remove the dead Blue Oak tree and diseased Mimosa Silk tree in a timely manner, but they cleaned all the wood cuttings and sawdust off the lawn and driveway. It was really rewarding and a pleasure to have dealt with Friendly Tree Care. Their reasonable price was also great . . . will hire them again in the future. read more

Fabian and his crew did an excellent job. Fabian came to give a free estimate and provided several advices beyond the job he was expected to do. The job was done in expeditive manner. My backyard was left cleaner than it was before the job. In addition, Gustavo grinded another stump and tied a small tree that were not even part of the job. I highly recommend the Friendly Tree Care team for their knowledge, discipline, job quality and dedication. read more

I am so pleased with the work that Fabian and the crew did at my mom's house in Folsom. We had 4 trees that were dead and needed to be removed before the fire season, and these guys took care of all 4 trees. One tree had been dead for a while and posed several hazards, but the team was safe and did a great job reducing this tree to the base without injury to themselves or the house. I highly recommend Friendly Tree Care to anybody who is looking for their types of service. read more

I can not say enough about how great this company is to work with. Fabian is extremely knowledgeable about his business. I felt confident from our first meeting. Already discussed what we are looking at for next year to maintain our trees. So happy with the results. Highly recommend Fabian! read more

Excellent service and excellent job! Fabian and his crew arrived on time and completed the job sooner than I expected. I found Fabian on Yelp* and because of the great reviews we called him, and am very grateful we did!!! Give Fabian a call, you will not be disappointed! read more

Friendly Tree Care is great! Fabian showed up on time for the estimate, was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Quickly followed up with an e-mailed estimate. Prices very much similar to the larger tree companies. (One of the larger companies took two weeks to send my estimate and did not estimate one of the items I asked them to include). I hired them to do the work - removal of a large dying birch tree, heavy trimming of a very large fruitless pear tree, and lighter trimming of a large Modesto Ash tree. After they were done, they cleaned up nicely. I could hardly tell they had been there. Followed up with an email and the invoice. I would very much recommend them and hire them for my future tree care needs. read more

I just used Fabian and Friendly Tree Care to trim my 5 Swan Hill Olives. These guys did a great job and are reasonably priced. Showed up with a big crew and knocked it out in less than 3 hours. These guys are professional and really know what they are doing with nice, expensive trees. Excellent cleanup as well. Don't cheap out and use your landscaper (like I have in the past). Call someone who knows what they are doing. Nice job Fabian and crew! read more

We couldn't be happier with Fabian and his crew. Prompt, professional, and VERY reasonably priced. They've taken down a 100 ft drought-stricken cedar tree appearing to lean towards our home and also came out a 2nd time on emergency notice to trim Sequoia branches that were dangerously interferring with electrical line after being broken by winds. We'll definitely continue to use their services for all our tree trimming needs. read more

This company showed up on time and did a fantastic job on our trees and shrubs. Great professional people with a great respect for the trees and shrubs. Fabian not only came over to give me an estimate on the work, but he spent time explaining the outcome of the work I wanted done. He was very professional and patient when I needed to reschedule due to added more work to his original bid. Fabian is very knowledgeable, and he takes his time to assess the work fairly and reasonably. When it was time for the work to be done, Fabian was extremely patient when I ended up having some last minute changes. The work was done when scheduled and my yard was kept perfectly clean at the end of each day. I appreciate all the time Fabian took to do a fantastic job in my yard. read more

Thanks to reading the previous reviews, I called Friendly Tree Care. Their work was excellent! Six trees were removed, eight trees beautifully pruned, about 25 large bushes pruned just right, four dead bushes removed -- all for a very reasonable price. Cleanup was thorough. Nothing is cut back in a way that hinders new growth, and the result is healthy-looking plants and trees that are better than they were. We will have them continue to keep our yard in good shape, as well as add new bushes and trees. Fabian and Gustavo really know what they are doing, and work carefully and steadily. Do yourself a favor -- if you need expert work on your yard, contact Friendly Tree Care. read more

We recently needed to cut down several white birch trees, and we were considering cutting down an ash tree as well. We did the usual, we used Yelp to call upon several local companies (with good Yelp reviews) for estimates. Fabian from Friendly Tree Care was quite a bit lower than some of the other companies. We decided to give them a try on the birch trees. They cut the trees, grinded the stumps, and removed all the wood. They were efficient, and very clean. All the debris was swept up and, aside from some of the mulch this is left behind, you couldn't even tell they'd been there...except the trees were gone. Without hesitation we had them come back and take care of the ash tree. We received exactly the same treatment. All the work we had done, combined, was cheaper than some of the other estimates just to take care of the birch trees. It pays to shop around, and it pays to consider the Yelp reviews. We heavily considered the previous reviews responses in making our initial decision on who to contact. Friendly Tree Care is profession, fast and efficient. You won't regret using them. read more
