Our go-to is the Pad Gra Prow Combo - massive portions of chicken and pork over rice, two fried eggs, crisp cucumbers, and a clear soup on the side. It's the kind of plate that makes you question your life choices halfway through... and then keep eating anyway. We usually add a red or green curry to round it out. I've worked my way through most of the menu at this point, and the fried rice and pad see ew are solid too. It tastes authentic, so you really can't miss. The service is consistent with that of a no-frills spot. You order and pay at the counter and the food is brought to your table after. There's also a drinking water station, which is self-serve. However, if you need something specific, the staff are attentive and quick to help. The ambience is cozy and homely, so don't expect anything upscale. If you're here to eat well and leave happy, you absolutely will.

Been meaning to check out this place with my girlfriend and finally got the chance for a date…read morenight. The restaurant has a nice, authentic atmosphere. The staff were great -- incredibly nice and friendly. They checked up on the food and asked if we wanted it to be spicy when we were ordering. I will say the portion is slightly smaller for a higher price than Thai Basil which is nearby. Nonetheless, the food was good. The Thai iced tea was perfect, not too sweet. I got the Pad See Ew and it was yummy, although more seasoning would be nice as it lacked a bit of salt. My girlfriend got the Pad Thai and she was very happy with it. Her only comment is that they didn't include as many veggies as other places, which she would've preferred. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and a good date night spot!

We've been twice, both times for dinner. Service has been friendly and sweet even when it's been busy. The menu is split into appetizers, soups, salads, beef/pork/chicken/seafood, curries, noodles, fried rice, vegetarian and desserts. You choose your spice level (1 - very mild to 5 - extra hot). We went with a 4, which was perfect. They also have $12.00 to $14.00 lunch specials (Tuesday to Saturday, 11:30am to 2:00pm). Trip #1 - 2x Thai iced tea ($4.00) - good sized. One of the better versions we've had in awhile. - Thai spring rolls - on the house (due to a slight wait). Spring rolls were crunchy and reminded me of how my grandma used to make hers. - Pa naeng ($15.00) - curry was balanced with good flavour. - Jasmine rice ($4.50 large) - good enough to share between three. - Pad kee mao ($15.00) - the spiciest dish; really enjoyed the kick/heat level. Decent amount of vegetables. - Pla lad prig ($20.00) - okay; crispy but not a lot of meat on the fish and you just don't get much flavour. They all arrived relatively quickly and my favourites were the pad thai and the khao soi. The pad thai was fragrant and on the sweeter side which I like. I also liked the fresh raw bean sprouts on the side. The khao soi was curry noodles with tender beef and crispy egg noodles. The curry was very flavourful with a hint of heat and sweetness. This was also my first time trying curry noodles at a Thai restaurant. The green curry was filled with bamboo shoots, peppers, and a good amount of chicken. The flavour from the bamboo shoots really comes through as well. For the crab fried rice, it came with a spicy sauce and pickled vegetables. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough to go around so I didn't get a chance to get a good taste of it with the rice. However, I scooped some curry sauce from the khao soi onto the crab friend rice and it was delicious! Finally, we tried the mango sticky rice and my goodness, it was so pretty! My boyfriend got the pad kee mao at medium level spice and although it was too much for me, I had the little nibbles here and there.
