Are you looking for a better shooting range? Look no…read morefurther! You have options. The glitz of Vegas is not here. This is primarily a locals only shooting range and gun shop. They do all sorts of different kinds of licensing, classes, and range shooting. You can bring your own guns. No shot guns are allowed. They will check your guns before you are allowed to shoot them. Make sure and have your own fire arms unloaded prior to coming . You have choices when it comes to shooting a gun that you would maybe like to own. Shoot it first and see if that fire arm is actually what you want. You can bring your own ammo and even purchase more here as needed . There are no appointments here. It's first come and first served. The range is small and intimate. It's a great place to shoot and at a decent price too. For your next shooting trip consult here. Make sure and bring your state issued identification. Let's get ready to work on our aim.

We entered the store and did not receive a "Welcome in" or any type of greeting you would normally receive when entering a store as a paying customer. As we approached the counter we were met with an employee that was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. His attitude was relentlessly negative, and his behavior was clearly designed to obstruct the transaction rather than assist. As I began to fill out the background form, he took it upon himself to look up my address and it was determined that the address on my Driver's license would not satisfy the residential requirement on the background form, which I can easily have fixed with the DMV, however, he stopped the transaction and was extremely rude about it and was not helpful in explaining the process. When he was questioned about certain "store policies" he was making up during our conversation, he was unable to provide an answer, he was unhelpful and also refused to provide his or his superiors names when asked as well, we were told "we don't give out names here". We left the store with the intention to return the following day with the address correction documentation. The very next morning I received a call from the original dealer that Precision Armory was sending my merchandise back to them and the employee had made false allegations that we were attempting to make a straw transaction which has now damaged my reputation with the original dealer. There was absolutely no other explanation for this employee's behavior, other than he is racist and couldn't contain his disdain and hate for an African American man, it was evident all over his communication, expressions and demeanor, he couldn't hide it. Additionally, there are several other reviews from other customers citing similar discriminatory experiences with this store. I have made multiple attempts for the manager or owner to contact me directly, including a BBB complaint that has went ignored. I would not recommend this store, unless you support discrimination, racism and wickedness. There's so many other stores that will not treat their customers this way.

When he learned what I was looking for, he pointed me to the Arville location to test some firearms, and that recommendation made all the difference. At Arville, Zach was my instructor, and he made the whole experience welcoming, informative, and fun. I walked out having purchased exactly what I tried out. Brian then guided me through the purchase process, answered every question I had, and gave great recommendations on accessories. I'm already planning to return for more. What really set this team apart was the human connection. Every person I encountered was genuinely friendly, patient, and supportive, and that's ultimately what earned my business. It's rare to feel that cared for as a customer, and it made the entire experience memorable. Thank you to Sean, Zach, Brian, and the rest of the team. Quality service and genuine care really does go a long way.

This was my first experience here. My wife and I came in for a group event to qualify for our CCW…read more I'm a very experienced gun owner, military veteran, prior law enforcement and retired federal agent. Here's what I noticed. I was looking at the handguns before my time up to shoot. The sales people were very polite and seemed genuine. There is a good selection of handguns and they seemed reasonably priced. When we were checking on at the counter the girls behind the counter were super polite and made the experience friendly and positive. The range crew was an entirely different story though. They ruined the entire experience. Based on some of the other reviews I can see a lot of other people have had similar experiences. I put my wife's gun in a lock box and I was carrying it for her. Mine was on my hip in a holster, open carry and very visible. Like every other time I've open carried. There were two range officers inside the range (you can see through the windows). One of them waived us to come inside. You have to go through two sets of doors. The first one takes you to a very small waiting area before heading into the actual range. One of the range officers (who looks 22 years old), opened the second set of doors and started to waived us through and as he is doing so commences to yell at us "hurry up, get inside". Once inside, the second range officer (older white haired gentleman) waived me over to one of the lanes. I walked over as instructed and placed my gun on the table pointed down range. He then says to load it and fire 6 shots down range. I told him it was already loaded. That's when he starts to yell "you don't ever walk into this range with your gun already loaded". I just nodded. After firing my 6 rounds, he moves the target and says to fire 12 more. I do as he asked. He then moves it again and tells me to fire 12 more. Once I was done, I removed the magazine and locked the slide back. When I did that the barrel pointed 1 inch to the left, still putting down range and away. He freaks out and screams "Point the gun down range". I responded "it is pointed down range". I put the gun down and he starts to chastise me some more. I just ignored him and moved back to the window to wait for my wife. She was up next. She was going to use my gun also. I already laid out enough magazines for her to use and left the gun, with the slide back to show our wasn't loaded. She fired her 30 rounds, and the guy was overly nice. As if he was all of a sudden her coach. When she was finished she locked the slide back as I've shown her. He cleared her and said ok you're done. The holster was on my hip. The slide was back and no magazine was in the gun. She started to walk back towards me to give me my gun, when the infant range officer grabbed her and started to push her back to the lane, screaming at her that you don't walk away from the lane without the gun in a locked box. When he put his hands on her I almost grabbed that dude. Don't put your hands on my wife! I yelled at him. When he saw how upset it made her and I he just mumbled under his breath. The range crew ruined this experience and we will never be back here. What a horrible way to treat people. They get 2 stars because the sales crew and the front counter staff were good. When your range crew treats people like trash because you're in "their world", then the rest of your business suffers. Being a range officer doesn't give you the power to be flat out disrespectful and never gives you permission to put your hands on people. After leaving we drove up the road to another shop and bought 10 boxes of rounds and a new Kimber 380.

"I have a very strict gun control policy; if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it."…read moreClint Eastwood We live in the greatest country in the world, in fact we have a Constitution with guaranteed rights that shall not be infringed upon. To remind you: if you forgot or were not up to date on your rights; you have the right to bear arms. Certain laws need to be observed in society to acquire that weapon of course. We don't want to be red flagged or anything, so here we stand. We need to protect ourselves and those that we love most. Should you choose to be armed do it safely and lawfully. Shall we lock and load, first off you need to select the weapon that's best for your situation. These are personal choices that you have the right to do. Once you have selected the right firearm it's time to do some research. I highly recommend Hickok45 to anyone. This gentleman outlines what it is truly like to shoot the firearm that you have selected. He demonstrates with decades of knowledge about that certain said firearm. Ask in the store too. The staff here are highly friendly and knowledgeable about all the pieces that they sell. They are not out to see you as just a sale. The staff wants you to be comfortable and happy with your firearm selection. All the background checks will be done on site. The current laws on firearms will prevent an individual from taking the gun selection home that day. If you have a concealed weapons carry you might be able to walk out after some checks with your said weapon. Know the law. It can mean the difference from owning a gun and not owning a gun. The second amendment states: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." After your purchase it's time to go home and wait for their call. As long as nothing shows negative on your background time to go get your new firearm. Be prepared and time to enjoy. Shoot off a few 100 rounds to break in your new gun. For all the accessories and ammo you need they can assist with your future purchases too. This is a local business so your money here is well spent. Remember to keep firearms from the foolish. In order to insure your security use your firearm wisely and correctly following all the rules of necessity and society. Many prayers to you, yours and our nation.

Reading some of the reviews is actually shocking. You need people who know the ins and outs of the law and are confident, skilled and educated, which they are. As for the products they are "selling," they are products that are needed. I can say that I'm extremely happy they told us about some of the things that as a responsible gun owner, I should be aware of! The class wasn't boring. I remember in my first CCW class I was bored and wanted to fall asleep. They kept me engaged and I was really loving listening to what they were teaching. I found the information very helpful and useful. One thing they mentioned is they will build a class around your needs/schedule if there is a good enough need, which is great to know. They were really easy to work with and I appreciate their flexibility. I would highly recommend them and look forward to furthering my gun skills and confidence with them.
