We understood that and still looked at it, test drove it around the parking lot, and placed a refundable deposit. The salesman, and manager were present when we asked if it was fully refundable and we were told by Sales Manager Amanda that it was fully refundable. We were then told that it would be illegal to not refund it if we asked for a refund. We asked for the deposit to be documented as refundable as well. We decided not to buy the vehicle after the dealer old us the recall was completed approximately a week later. I immediately asked for a full refund. Almost 10 days later and still no effort by the dealership to provide a refund! The first excuse was the accounting person was on vacation. The latest is, they can't issue a refund without calling the card processing company. Complete B. S. Stay away! This place is definitely shady! I doubt we'll see a refund, so...

We had a very disappointing experience with Jeff in the finance department at Monumental Ford…read more We agreed on a specific purchase price for the vehicle. Because it was late and we live three hours away, Jeff suggested completing the paperwork through e-signature. While reviewing the documents, we discovered a $2,000 increase from the agreed price. We immediately stopped the signing process due to this discrepancy. Despite us not completing or approving the final numbers, the paperwork was submitted without our signatures reflecting the correct agreed-upon amount. We gave Jeff and the dealership three weeks to correct the issue before writing this review, but nothing was resolved. This experience has caused serious concerns about transparency and integrity in the finance process. We are extremely disappointed and would advise anyone working with Jeff to carefully review every document before signing.
