I cold called Thomas because of the great reviews here. Within 15 minutes, Thomas had power going to the new battery, but the keyboard wasn't working. About an hour later, he called to say it was all good...an internal cable had been loosened/unplugged. All that for $60, after the fix. It's not often in this day and age to find someone who not only is proficient, experienced and knowledgeable, but also truly loves what he does. Once I was able to determine the cause wasn't COVID but maybe some other virus I transported the carcass into Shasta Computer Repair but with little hope for resurrection. Daniel was able to diagnose the issue(s), apply life support and a transfusion and my computer was able to come home after only a weekend in hospice. It's as good as new and we are looking forward to many more years together. The receptionists were great and Daniel worked a miracle.
