On our drive through Oklahoma we looked up what Oklahoma was known for in regards to food, and fried pies came up. I'd never heard of them (unless this is similar to a hot pocket), so we veered off course to try them. Amazing! I had a spinach and mushroom which was almost like a pot pie in a flaky pastry blanket. So delicious!! My only suggestion would be to take it to go as the dining area is very small and not as comfy as I would like. The space is obviously older and crowded, but the food is yummy!

FANTASTIC. We swung by here as we entered OKC. They have a GAZILLION pies: sweet, savory, cream, breakfast, etc. It's difficult to choose but I had to go for my OG favorite pie: cherry. GF ordered apple. I wanted to give the cream pies a whirl so ordered vanilla. They were all better than sex, without question. I wanted to try a savory pie and I greatly appreciate them offering a vegetarian option however it had mushrooms so if you, like me, don't like mushrooms, you're going to need to stick with sweet.

I always try and hit this exit off I-35 just for the fried pies. These are truly so yummy and the pie dough is better than any of my granny's have made (shh don't tell them). It's the perfect texture and flakyness! My favorite flavors so far are SF peach and pecan. They will even warm them up.. but usually they have fresh ones ready to go for you! They also have soft drinks, frozen pies, and and an eating area. Restrooms are clean for a bonus! Most staff is friendly. Highly recommend a stop here!

the fried pie crust itself is really good! crispy and light. the shells are not too thick. fillings range from sweet to savory or a bit of both! the dinner pies and breakfast pies are made to order so theyll be hot. the ready to eat pies are the sweet filled ones (sold room temp). im sure the lovely team running this shop can heat up the pies if you ask them to. We got 5 pies: 1. Ham N Cheese (cheddar) 2. Pizza Style (cheese/pep & tomato sauce) 3. Chkn Fried Steak (w.mash/white gravy) 4. Turkey Dinner (turkey, stuffing & gravy) 5. Coconut Cream Pies are cheap, fillings are not made in-house, some was a bit too salty for our liking so grab a drink to wash it down! The team here are so friendly and polite. we really enjoyed the pies and will definitely stop by here again!

Stopped by to visit friends in OKC. Arbuckles Fried Pies had friendly staff, and delicious fried hand pies... pineapple, apricot, peach, Boston Cream. Gonna try some savory ones next time! Pick up a 6 pack at least!

Pie oh my! This small building sits on these secret hand pie treasures! First time in I picked apple for each of us and a pecan to share, maybe lol. You can taste the love and attention. I'll be back soon Arbucklle Mountain Fried Pies for the win! I met the owner too and he gave ma a sample of meatball......licked my fingers

These yummy pies are worth eating right away. They are delicious! It's best to eat right away but still good the next day once it's warmed. It's just a little shop but they do one thing right - PIES!!!

2 pies - 1 Blackberry Fruit Pie 1 Chocolate Cream Pie

The service was fast and super friendly and they even made some suggestions when I was undecided. I was steered to their best sellers and there is a reason these are! So now the food review. Oh my word!!!!! One of these pies (peach) didn't even make it out of the parking lot. It was still warm and the crust was light, flaky and buttery. Sooo delicious. The chocolate and blackberry were both amazing crust and different taste. Think the peach was my favorite but they were all excellent!

We stopped at Arbuckle Mountain Pies while driving through Oklahoma on our way back to Texas, eager to try their fried pies. Unfortunately, our experience was a bit underwhelming. The pies were ready to eat if you like cold pies. So when we got home we heated them up, but the crust ended up being doughy and soft rather than crispy, and the filling was just average. While not a terrible experience, it wasn't impressive either. We wouldn't be too disappointed if we didn't stop by again.

Great selection and service! I never had fried pie before but I love it! Fry anything and it will taste good for some reason haha! Ambiance inside is like a typical mom and pop donut shop, and the people in front are sweet and welcoming! Also they have a drive thru if you are in a hurry. Definitely will be coming back often!

Overview: 5/5 If you like pies ANY pies (sweet or savory) you need to visit this place. Fried pies does it get any better than that! Ambiance : 3/5 It's not much to look at and has a bakery feel with a large glass case displaying all the different pies options. Food/Drink 5/5 We got a blueberry, peach and chocolate. They were all delicious hot and cold. They had flaky crusts and plenty of fruit filling that was not too sweet. Yum. Service : 5/5 Nice owners who made the blueberry pie while we waited. They had run out and they said it would take 4 minutes. Conclusion : We will definitely be back again this trip!

The restaurant offers an assortment of margaritas, sangria and beer to go with your meal. Be sure to look out for their daily happy hour. They do not have table service, so you place your order at the counter and then they give you a buzzer that goes off when your food is ready. I ordered a steak taco, a brisket taco, and a beef taco. It took about 5 minutes for my food to be ready. My tacos were good. I really liked the brisket one the best, followed by steak. For those dining in, you will find 2 sauces on the tables: habanero and original. This is a fun, family friendly Mexican food joint that has a decent staff and good food. If you are in the area and looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat, this place deserves some serious consideration.

When we walked in, an older woman greeted us right away with the sweetest smile and seated us immediately. She ended up being our hostess and was so kind and attentive the whole time. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. The menu isn't huge, but it has a good variety and the prices are very reasonable, especially for how much food you get. I'll admit I was a little unsure when I saw queso wasn't complimentary, because sometimes when you pay for it, it's not that great, can tell it's made with velveeta. But we ordered the large anyway and it was actually really good. The salsa was just right too, not too mild but not overly spicy. I ordered the enchilada platter and wasn't sure how I'd feel about the red sauce, so I also got a beef chimichanga on the side just in case I did not like the red sauce. Both were really good, and the chimichanga was way bigger than I expected, honestly a full meal by itself. My daughter got the Cowboy Quesadilla and said it was the best one she's had in a while. My husband ordered the steak fajitas and really liked them, his only comment was that the steak pieces were a little thin. Overall, everything was great. The food, the service, and just how genuinely kind our hostess was really stood out. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.
