Despite our size, it took over 20 minutes just to get beers, and that was only after tracking someone down. Not once did a server proactively check on us. When the food finally arrived, it was almost laughable how bad it was. Cold fries, overcooked and flavorless mains, and drinks that tasted like they'd been watered down or left sitting. Nothing was fresh, hot, or even remotely satisfying. We were patient. We were polite. We gave them the benefit of the doubt. First, the stench of beer was in the parking lot as soon as we got Out the car... our server Hilary was sweet and did what she could being the only one serving. After the initial 12 min wait for drinks, she was timely and checked in with us, and even took off the 'cheddar balls' from the bill. Tables felt sticky Menu said fried cheese (moz and cheddar)- server called them Cheddar balls- they were over fried pieces of what tasted like Velveta- it was mushy. Gross so we sent them back. Fries were barely done- like still cold in the middle- not golden brown at all - tasted like onion rings fried in old Oil. Hot dog was decent- but seriously how could you mess that up. The wings also tasted like they were cooked in old oil and were super greasy with no flavor at all. Greasy on the inside and slightly slimy. Bartender was eating behind the bar, and a big group of people we're outside were smoking weed when my 9yr old and I were walking out. Went to Fricker' for lunch today had an out of town co worker with me. One front house employee one cook. Absolutely the worst food I have ever been served in Cincinnati. I ordered their grilled chicken Caesar salad, I am quite sure they thought I asked for chicken jerky. Could not chew the desiccated meat. My companion ordered the slider combo. Sliders were completely dried out boneless wings as well and regular wing were undercooked and bloody. It took over twenty minutes to be greeted and 25 minutes to get our food. I'm very glad I came here! It was past 11pm when I pulled into the Red Roof Inn next door, so nothing else around was open. But Fricker's kitchen is open until 1am, and the bar is buzzing until 2:30. And as it turns out, we got a pleasant meal for a reasonable price. They had "Chicken Chunks" on special, so I got them with a side salad. The meal was filling, and I sincerely dug those chicken things! They were like very plump popcorn chicken pieces, but with a nice, lightly battered exterior. My salad was good, and my pal's quesadilla, which was larger than we'd expected, satisfied him. The menu highlights the chicken wings, and there are other chicken dishes on the menu with a good variety of sauces. My pal was also impressed with the beer he ordered. He wanted something local, and got something that he likened to creme soda, but in a good way. We sat outside, but they have a bright, whizzy sports bar situation going on inside. This actually would probably be a really fun place to see a major sporting event, what with the dominating presence of their huge TVs around the bar. Service was very friendly and quick. Horrid! Stopped here after having my car serviced at Kings Auto Mall. Early, Like 3 in the afternoon. To be fair, nice bar, TVs, and draft craft beer selection. In the past I have ordered wings here and they were OK. This time I ordered (to go), a pulled pork sandwich, pork tenderloin, and fried chicken sandwich. Here were the issues: * With only 8 people at the bar the bartender somehow lost my order and it had to be re-entered. * When I got the food home the pulled pork sandwich was the smallest sandwich EVER with about 2 ounces of meat on it! Looked like a slider but most sliders are bigger than that. * The pork tenderloin was grossly overcooked, small and dry! Had to throw it away it was that bad. *The chicken sandwich was the best of the bunch but nothing to write Home about. Stick with the wings here! We were there to watch the Guardians game and get drinks. The service started out fine but the liquor drinks we were ordering had maybe a splash of liquor in them at best. They were out of almost every draft beer you can imagine. What kind of sports bar doesn't have your standard domestics on draft? After being there for over 2 hours we ordered food and were then informed by the manager that we were cut off. It would have been understandable if we were being rowdy but we were told that the server didn't feel comfortable serving us. We waited another 30 mins for our food and promptly left. This has become the local "grab a beer after work" spot as well as a place that my friends who have left the area love to visit for their chicken fix. The draft beer selection and price is pretty fantastic, especially for the area. This alone is a great reason for all of us to head over here for a drink. Additionally, the staff here is very friendly. I feel like myself and my friends have a relationship with at least three of the lovely waitresses here and they make coming here frequently very enjoyable. I would recommend, as far as food goes, the chicken chunks and the brew city fries. The sauces here are not overly spicy so keep that in mind when selecting your sauce. I enjoy the little kicker sauce and find it around the level of the medium sauce at BW3's. I continue to come here again and again for the service, price, and food quality. If you are someone that wants a lot of eye contact while you dine out with a partner, don't come to this Fricker's. There are TV's everywhere! Big ones too. It's impossible not to look! For a sports junkie like me, it's perfect! A pseudo arena Jumbotron drops down from the ceiling over the main square-shaped bar. Each side has one 80" TV with two 47" TVs above it. One jumbotron, 12 TVs. The picture I posted of it does not do it justice. It's a sight to behold in person. There are four other 80" monsters on the walls. Even more 65" TVs adorn the walls at Fricker's. The general manager gave me the TV size run down yesterday. Added bonus for me, I've already been twice and each time there have been a few TVs showing the NHL Network. With hockey being my favorite sport, that's huge for me. Most of Fricker's menu revolves around the Frickin' Chicken they offer, and it's pretty good. Wings, chunks, salads, sandwiches, sliders, etc are among the many options that star the chicken. I've been satisfied with the portion size. Not too much, and not too little. Maybe except the Frickin' Chicken Salad. That's big enough for two people to share. A few negatives that kept me from 5 stars follow. When you order the boneless wings, dipping sauce like ranch and blue cheese costs extra. I wish that wasn't the case. Soda is over $2 (way over, if my short-term memory serves me correct). Ouch. The parking lot in front of the restaurant is very big. I don't think you'd ever have a problem parking here. That was a mistake. My buddies had the wings and they looked good. Also, if you want spicy you need to move up the sauce ladder. I had Hot and did not think it was Hot at all.
