This Freshens is located in the upper C gates in the DFW airport. It's quite small and I almost walked right by it. I'm not a smoothie or frozen yogurt person generally but I was walking by and saw they have a vegan power berry blend (not sure that's the exact name) and I figured why not. I'm glad I did as the smoothie was pretty darn tasty. It had fresh berries (raspberries, and blue berries) with some bananas and some vegan protein powder. I'm not big on vegan protein powder either but it worked in this smoothie. The person who took my order and made my smoothie was kind and efficient. From the time I ordered to product in hand was only a few minutes and it tasted great.

More of a watery, icy taste with pinch of chocolate and 1/4tsp peanut butter and cup protein

Peanut butter protein is my go to. I don't even partake in the crepes anymore because I love love this smoothie. I just got in on a red eye and low and behold I see freshens at my gate. I order the peanut butter protein and I think to myself, gets large and enjoy, you deserve it. I ordered the large and to my disappointment it was very light in color. I did not complain as this is my favorite, I taste one time and I wanted to throw it away. It taste nothing like what I always get. Very icy, less chocolate, peanut butter taste more of a ice, tsp of peanut butter, cup of protein and pinch of chocolate. I couldn't tell. I was sooo disappointed because I literally came from a red eye, exhausted and when I saw that sign my eyes lit up with joy. This was a great lesson as to wait to familiar freshen establishments and continue to patron there and also to always get a small. -------5min update------ It was in my heart to let them know that something wasn't right with my drink. So they offered to make over, I stated I can get the regular size if it matters. I got just that, regular size and the drink was made the right way. Moral of this story, pay for small and you just lost 2bucks, also if your an establishment still give customer what they've paid for just make sure it's correct.

a piece of bread with butter on it

Stopped here after an early morning flight to grab some breakfast. I got a bagel for $5. Was the smallest bagel I've ever had and also the worst one I've had. Tasted like straight white bread. Would not return.

Given the location (airport) this isn't a bad place for a quick bite. However, I can't taste the smoothie, only ice. I love my smoothies blended and smooth so this was a disappointment. I had a voucher to use, so I was pretty excited to eat at a "healthy" place. I guess ice is pretty healthy. The fruit tastes frozen. It's been a while since I've had fake food, so it has an off taste. Can't say I'd recommend this place.

"Healthy" my ass. There is nothing healthy about 72g of added sugar! This should be considered false advertising.

The coffee was good and baristas were friendly. I could've stayed here working all day. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Dallas. I got an oat milk vanilla latte (not feeling adventurous) but when I go back, I'll try one of their other limited time drinks.

I was hoping for something savory. We got avocado toast. My husband got his with an egg; I had mine plain. He had an iced caramel latte, and I had a plain cappuccino because that's the best way for me to judge the espresso, besides ordering a straight shot. Food was okay. Did not blow me out of the water. It was decent enough to eat, but a tiny, tiny portion for the price. Somewhere around ten to eleven dollars per toast. One slice of bread, a little avocado, a couple of tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar. Was it tasty? Yes. Was it worth ten dollars? I don't think so. I bought a full sourdough loaf for ten dollars. I understand service costs and all that, but still. Coffee was actually very good, though. My cappuccino had fruity notes, very smooth. They have different roasts, which is nice. The cups and plates are really cute, and the space itself is charming. The lady working seemed very overwhelmed. The place was full, decently loud, line kept getting longer the whole time we were there. My husband didn't love his coffee, and he's usually not picky at all, so that says something. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. But if I needed a place to sit and do some work and didn't need to be on the phone, I'd probably consider it. I just think there are better places out there. Honest opinion. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.

Young, high-energy staff and everybody was friendly. I had an adorable little waitress who was possibly high as a kite. But flower high, not the bad stuff. Honestly, it worked in everybody's favor. She was upbeat, extremely polite, and got my order right. I'm happy. The menu is one of those long double-sided laminated things with probably 50+ breakfast choices. Everybody should be able to find something. Prices looked to range around $10-17 per entrée, and the portions were solid. They also had a bunch of turkey and chicken sausage options for non-pork eaters like myself. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns, scrambled cheese eggs with onions mixed into the eggs and hash browns, plus two pancakes. Around $15. Pardon the food pics. I forgot to take them until I had already loaded everything up with every sauce known to man: ketchup, hot sauce, gravy, syrup... probably a few others. I definitely recommend this place. A gem.

Nice and crispy in all the right places. Nothing to frown at especially for the price x

I decided to try out for a simple breakfast, and it did not disappointment. As other reviewers mentioned, the place is not exactly easy to find but pretty easy with a GPS. Cafe One is attached to the building of Northrop Grumman, but you will see the sign when you drive along the one way street. You have to enter inside the Northrop Grumman's parking lot and drive around to locate this place. I ordered a grilled breakfast sandwich, which costed me a little over $3.00 without tax, and the kitchen is clean as well as the serving tables. Chefs and the cashier are welcoming, which will probably matter to you if you also have a positive vibe to start your day. I only tried a sandwich and a sparkling soda called Bai5 Bubbles's Peru Pineapple, and the sandwich was pretty good. The sandwich only had eggs and sausage inside, but the toasters were grilled to the perfection as it is soft yet crispy. Next time, I will definitely bring my coworkers here when I get a chance. Just to let you know, the final time they end up serving the breakfast is at 9:30 a.m. Thus, make sure that you arrive before then if you want to get a breakfast.
