I love this Fresh Thyme. It's never super crowded, it's always well stocked, it's always clean and products are arranged nicely, and I always find something new and interesting to pick up. The vitamin and supplement section is great. For instance, you can find at least a dozen different kinds of magnesium supplements! Who knew there was more than one kind of magnesium, and who knew that there are twelve different brands to choose from, including the store generic brand. I was in the supplement aisle a lot longer than I thought I would be, just reading all of the bottles. But it's a nice problem to have, though. I'd rather be surrounded by too many options than not enough. Fresh Thyme is one of the only places where I can find Frontera brand tortilla chips. If you want a solid tortilla chip -- the kind that will have people asking you what kind of tortilla chips they are at your next party -- get this brand at Fresh Thyme. I also like this Fresh Thyme because they have meal ideas immediately to your right when you walk in. I sometimes visit Fresh Thyme when I don't have a plan for dinner, but I'll be inspired to make something based on what I see displayed in this section. I really love Fresh Thyme and this is a great location. The shelves are always well stocked, and they have the best produce around, many organic options and always good prices. They have "Barn Burner" specials every week on selected produce items at extreme discounts. Fresh Thyme offers produce items that can be difficult to find elsewhere, whole jackfruit, for example. The salad bar is great, and so are the bakery and deli items. A nice place to stop for a quick lunch. I especially appreciate that the checkout lines are always short here. Often after work I need to run in and grab just a few things, and at Fresh Thyme I can be in and out in just a couple of minutes. I didn't realize that Fresh Thyme was an upscale grocery store. Has a lot of healthy items. Nuts, berries, vitamins, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, even wine. Great local option if you need to pick something up and don't want to go to Wally World. Very clean, nice employees, and great variety. Also, they are not overly busy and have plenty of parking. We went to Fresh Thyme the other day since we were in the area and wanted to pick up a few things. We hit the produce section and I came across an interesting fruit I have never seen. I've included pictures - it's called Buddha's Hand Citron. I did not purchase one, I was merely admiring it's beauty and uniqueness and appreciative that Fresh Thyme would have such an item. Fresh Thyme tends to carry some unique items that other groceries may not. A good meat selection. I like that the store is small and I don't have to wonder past lots of junk food to find what I need. Gluten free options clearly marked and plentiful. Fresh herbs are always a good deal. I really love the salad bar and make your own pizzas. Ingredients are fresh and I don't break the bank for lunch. For $5 they make your pizza to order with any or all toppings. Cooks in 5 minutes and crust comes out chewy and flavorful. I love the salad bar with unusual items such as palm hearts, kalamata olives and four options of greens including kale. Today salad bar was on sale for $5.99 pound. The little dining area offers filter cold drinking water. I can eat healthy, quick and reasonably priced. This location has fresh flowers in the restrooms. They thought of everything. read more

I love this store! They are always friendly and helpful, and even pre-COVID kept the cart disinfecting wipes stocked so that they do not run out. The folks in the deli and butcher shop are great--all being safe and wearing masks while being quick and helpful. The meat selections are high quality. The produce selections are high quality. Check out is easy, friendly, and fast. I recently downloaded their app to order online and have my grocery order delivered. How awesome! I had a busy week with no time to go in-person. I preordered a fresh Turkey and sushi platter through your service then I get there and the size available is different then what I preordered weeks ago. When we got there it was like no one knew what they were doing,we got a frozen not fresh Turkey and no sushi platter. Totally messed up our holiday and we're not happy. This is my first and last time at the Carmel Fresh Thyme. I am a regular at the Fishers location for good reason. I am making my errands and preparing for Thanksgiving. I was in the area and decided to stop in while in the area. My focus was the meat department. More specifically shrimp that was on sale. I was told the same shrimp was out in the case and was pointed in the other direction. So my friend and I waked over and the shrimp just didn't look as good as what we saw in the case. So we walked back over and was ignored. After they greeted everyone else and made small talk the other gentlemen walked over and said "yeah!?" I told him I wanted what was in the case. He said, fine! If that's what you want. He packaged me up, ran past me and grabbed the frozen bag from the cooler to refill his case to prove a point. Regardless, if it was the same shrimp or not, as a guest Jeff & John should not of been so hostile toward us. We literally felt timid about asking for anything else. That was the only thing we bought and left. Spent $20 and we usually spend $200, 2x's a week. We won't be back. read more

I love me some fresh thyme! I'm not an aisle shopper, I stay in the middle for fruit, veggies, cheese, bread. They have some of the best deals in town the majority of the time for produce. While their meat selection is a little limited, they have great deals on healthy choices! If you're in the Carmel area they're a great place to shop at! I've grown to really appreciate Fresh Thyme. Nothing has really ever been all that bad but I could never find stuff I really wanted. That has changed. Most notably, they have a huge bin of lucky charm marshmallows. Seriously. And they are soooooo cheap. They've got decent coffee and a good selection of desserts. I am sooooo glad Fresh Thyme is now in Carmel. I love it there. I love double ad Thursday. This location is so perfect. I love everything about this store. The produce sales are so amazing and everything is always fresh. I was glad to see they had a Caroline's cart. It caught my eye as soon as I walked in. Caroline's Cart is a shopping cart created for special needs children. It provides parents a way to transport a child through the store while grocery shopping, without having to push a wheelchair and a cart at the same time. I think I first saw them on FB. I can always trust Fresh Thyme to have great produce at fair prices, and they're usually better than the prices at more generic grocery stores. I love this location's convenience for me. Perfect for when I'm missing one item while cooking. While I don't shop a lot in the pantry aisles, I love what I've found in terms of produce, deli, beer/wine and beautiful fresh flowers. Pro-tip: get your seasonings from the bulk section. I needed some white pepper for a recipe once and the bottle on the shelf was almost $10! I turn the corner and see white pepper available in bulk, got the amount I needed and paid maybe 50 cents for it. So awesome for those meals that require an off-the-beaten path ingredient and I don't want it sitting in my cabinet forever. read more

There is nothing not to like and love here. The meat and fresh produce are always amazing. And if you need a quick lunch, the fresh salad bar and house made sandwiches and pizza will surprise you. I love this store. Because of the employees and how it is managed. That part is undeniably the best. Their customer service and attention is awesome. But I had to give 4 stars because some of the pantry items are a bit overpriced. The produce and deli and meat department out of this world. Bakery and baked goods not the best. But I am so happy as well to just go in and our quickly! That is such a benefit of this store. I'm willing to overpay for something like rice or quinoa when I know I will be helped, greeted with a smile, given a really good sale price or two on things like Brussels sprouts and fresh peanut butter and sometimes even cage free eggs. Very poor customer service which is surprising for a store that is supposed to have a more personal shopping experience. When an item rang up wrong(by only .50), they didn't bother to look at the sign. Even when the cashier asked her boss, no attempt was made to check their mistake. Rather than give me the price advertised, I could choose to buy it for the price or not. I thought this was a very poor reflection of their customer service and contacted Corp to see what their protocol is. The store won't last without good customer relations. I got my answer because Corp never called back. This is an ominous sign regarding the strength of their company. read more

Love me some Fresh Thyme! It took a while for me to get here because as I've mentioned in past reviews, I'm an Aldi gal all the way. I'm skeptical of organic grocery store prices. However, Fresh Thyme's produce really can't be beat. Great deals, too! Organic and non-organic produce is available for great prices. The whole "fear GMOs" thing hasn't really hit me, so I like having the option to go organic or not. I haven't perused the pantry aisles as much, but I would think those prices are a little marked up in comparison to nearby Kroger or Aldi. But if I'm in a pinch for dinner shopping, Fresh Thyme's choices and location is prime for me. read more

I really, truly love this store and shop there very often. We got the Thanksgiving dinner package this year because it was excellent when we bought it two years ago. This year, it was disappointing, though still a good value. Lots of food for 69.99. The turkey turned out great! Cranberry sauce was so good! But....The carrots and green beans "with almonds," had no almonds and were pretty much raw. The instructions did not allow enough time for the veggies or the dressing to cook as needed...celery and onions were too crunchy in dressing as well. The mashed potatoes last time were more rustic, with a little skin left in, and really tasted home made, but this time they were more like Bob Evans. My husband and I agreed that overall, the meal was not as good as remembered. It probably was a result of a rush to fill orders, and I wish they would have told me to allow more cook time at home. The leftovers were better, as they were fully cooked the second time around. read more
