I love going to Aldi! I was around this one and needed some items for meals I was making. This one is a stand alone building with decent parking lot. I think the quarter idea for the carts is smart, it makes all the carts go back to their place and not in the parking lot in the way for cars to park. Parking was easy to find. Getting a cart was simple either the quarter. The setup of Aldi's is so convenient because it's so compact unlike other grocery stores. I didn't need much but I like to browse what they have because Aldi's switches up on their items. I love the element of surprise that I feel when coming here. They also have a seasonal section that I love browsing through, it's like a must see when I come here. I pretty much just got the items that I needed at this visit along with a few extra snacks. I love their German/European snacks and chocolate...they are so good and usually new to me. This one has restrooms available. I noticed stock wasn't an issue here. Usually the checkout goes fairly quickly. At first only one lane was open but as the lines grew another cashier became available. This location did not have the self checkout option. read more

This was the cleanest and most convenient grocery store I've been to. The items you first walk into are the items I am actually looking for, rather than sending me on a hunt through the entire store to waste my time and money. I appreciate this so much. And the employees are as nice and sweet as Chick-fil-A employees here. Hard to do on Christmas Eve but nothing got their spirits down. Thank you ALDI staff. I appreciate you all. read more

I don't do a ton of grocery shopping, but I've tried to get better at meal planning/prepping and making a trip to Aldi once I have my list put together. You can't beat the prices and for the most part, I've had good luck with everything except produce. I've caught a moldy orange in a bag more than once at this specific store. I stopped in Saturday evening around 6:30/7pm and was thrilled to see the store fairly empty. That's another thing I've learned about shopping at Aldi.. the prices are great, but there are some trade offs. One of them is that there are limited people working, so there usually isn't more than one or two lanes open at a time unless it's really backed up. I'm okay with that though. Running through the store, I was able to get everything I needed in just about 20 minutes and was out the door.. which was great! The store was fairly clean, but they were trying to get the shelves stocked for the next day, so I had to keep waiting for them to pick up the boxes they had thrown all over the floor so I could get my cart through. All in all, a nice store where I can get a decent amount of my shopping done. read more

Affordable store when your short on cash and need basic groceries good selections of food too!

Probably a year ago, I reviewed ALDI store brand (Belmont) ice cream; specifically butter pecan. My wife went to ALDI and brought home some Belmont strawberry. I may have a new favorite flavor. This is "Premium" ice cream. It is simply excellent. It is better than some of the ice cream vendors that have made a name for themselves on that basis. I did try their peaches and cream some time back. It was okay, but it was "half the fat." Since I am not going to stuff a half gallon down my neck at one sitting, I prefer the full fat flavors. Before you criticize me, I am 70 years old with cholesterol of 148....no meds. So, I guess the regular stuff ain't killin' me. read more

So glad that I have an Aldi just down the street!! Aldi is so underrated and I love their mission of providing quality groceries at incredibly low prices. This Aldi has been clean, organized and well-stocked during my visits. I always look forward to the new weekly Aldi finds because I often find that Exact Thing I didn't know I needed for my house. The overall Aldi franchise is improving every day. From baby and pet supplies to gluten-free and organic foods, this chain is serious competition for other grocery giants. Aldi forever! read more

I'm an Aldi fan, and I'm really happy this location exists because groceries around Irvington are slim pickin's with the recent demise of a long time Indianapolis chain combined with few other stores in the immediate area. This particular location is a well kept store with the usual Aldi fare. The staff is friendly, and I can usually find most things that are standard at Aldi. I would like to see Aldi in general expand their hours and their selection, but overall; and at times, their prices are not less than sale items at the chains. However, I like the Aldi culture and the quality of several products they offer. read more

I really like this location! It's clean and has a great selection of everything. I am such an Aldi fan and think this location is awesome. If you haven't been to one before make sure to bring a quarter for a cart. It's a smart system that ensures they get their carts back and our cars don't get rogue shopping cart dents while we're shopping inside. Thus location has such a new store vice still. It's more updated than other stores. They have great pizza selections for only $5. I mean these pizzas are very big! It feels like a rip off to Aldi it's such a good deal! The pizza tastes amazing and you definitely get more way than what you paid for. This is a great new location that I definitely recommend!! read more

This Aldi location has just finished a major remodel and it looks fantastic. The size of the store has increased by at least 30%. There are more items than ever before. Most importantly, The produce and fresh meat section have improved. The prices are still great but compared to the other locations, this place is amazing and new. The amount of each item kept in stock has also improved as well. It has to be the best location in Indy so far. Plus, The place is always clean and tidy unlike some other big box retailers I could mention. They accept debit and ATM cards, cash, and EBT benefits. No credit cards or personal checks. read more

If you aren't part of the Aldi cult, you should consider joining. My wife has been a big Aldi fan for a while, and I always felt like she had joined a cult without me. You see, I have always felt a one-stop shop for groceries is a better option. Then, this weekend, it was too cold to take the kids to the grocery store, so I went to Aldi on my own with her shopping list. I was in and out in a few minutes. It took me a while to get used to the layout, but the store is small enough I will remember where everything is next time. The food is of a great quality--and I'd be willing to pay a little more--but part of the appeal is that Aldi has great quality, great prices, and is a quick in-and-out trip. Aldi is in Irvington, which means I save time compared with shopping for groceries in the 'burbs. I gave a four star review because the stock was a little low, and I still think Aldi is to our shopping like Oberwiess it to others. It's a great way to supplement your large shopping trips, but it is unlikely it will replace the supermarket altogether. But it is a clean, fun place to shop in between larger trips to the grocery store or Super Target. read more

This store is very clean, well stocked, and has a decent foot print. The dairy products are great and so much cheaper than local area chains. I always load up on cheap tasty cheese when I stop by. I am always happy with the quality of the products. Bear in mind it's easy to impulse buy here with the low prices and abundance of speciality, seasonal, and discount food items. My only complaint about Aldi in general, is the produce is basic and they don't carry fresh herbs. read more

This Aldi is bigger than the one I'm used to out in Avon. That is a nice change as the selection and volume is greater and it is a bit less crowded and easier to navigate. Being an Aldi junkee, I'm not terribly picky about which store I go to, but this one is the closest to home now, so I go here. As with any Aldi, I'm hard pressed, no matter how much I toss in the cart, to break $100. Can't go wrong with that. This Aldi has a very nice selection of wines, cheeses, etc. In addition, they have plenty of seasonal items that rotate throughout the year. The upside is that you get variety. The downside is that you get attached to something and then it gets discontinued. Oh well, such is life. This store is always clean and the staff is friendly. I'm one of those weird people who actually enjoys grocery shopping, so that makes a big difference. Definitely not complaining that this is my closest Aldi! read more

This is one of the worst Aldi's I have ever been to. The store was not fully stocked, the produce had a ton of gnats flying around it bc it was past gross. The salad in the coolers was already slimy. My visit was around noon so they had all morning to restock the fresh meat and they were just getting around to that. I don't know why since nothing else was stocked and the nasty ass produce wasn't pulled. When I got to the check lanes no one was there, so I went to the only one without a "CLOSED" sign on it and started unloading. That's when the cashier came up and told me that register wasn't open and went to one of the other ones with a "CLOSED" sign, removed it and began taking other customers while I proceeded to put my items back in my cart to move over to her lane. What a terrible and infuriating experience, hence the one star. read more

The store has friendly workers, store is clean and it their produce is usually well stocked (there are busy times or days when the produce is out of several things). Aldis loses a star for lack of organic, healthy items and a lack of variety in general....They also have a teeny H&B section. I still have to occasionally go to Kroger for healthy items that Aldis does not carry. read more

I shop regularly at this Aldi. It is convenient and they are very good about getting an additional cashier when needed.
