They have many other items, some of them local, from the pumpkins (can't carry those in a suitcase alas) to sweet pepers and a lot of other tasty delights which are NOT made locally. they are only open until Oct 31, so plan on getting there before Halloween. They bring practically all of it to Statehouse Market - it's incredibly high value produce at fair prices and with super friendly service week after week. Owned by David and Kim Sturgill, VanAntwerp's is also known to bring plants and other items to the Statehouse Market. I'd say they're one of the most consistent truly "farm" type vendors. The employees are always knowledgeable and can help you select the correct items for your needs. This includes being able to explain different types of tomatoes and other fruits and vegetables. I haven't experienced VanAntwerp's outside of Statehouse Market, but I've never heard a bad thing about them and never bought a bad product from them. So, if you're in the downtown area on Thursdays between 10:30am - 1:30pm, stop by the Statehouse Market and you can pick up remarkably fresh veggies.
