The ambiance is very nice. I walked in with high hopes. I ordered a steak bowl "cantina" and a chicken plantain empanada. The employees seemed clueless, maybe they were new. I asked if they had chimichurri for the steak bowl and they said no only hot sauce, which was actually pico de gallo. The chicken in the empanada looked like it was cooked the day before with hard dried out spots. As my food was being prepared I was looking at the drinks and dessert and was rushed by employees to go to the register because my food was done. I was 1 of 2 customers in the business, and the other customer was sitting down eating I'm not sure why they were in such a hurry. Overall the food was not worth me ever coming back. A bit pricey, but I regularly get the vegan wrap, $12. I see most of the customers grabbing items from the pre-made dessert case. I have yet to try any, but next visit I will. Parking out front could be limited, but there is parking on top of the buildings. read more

Has potential but unfortunately fell really short for me. I went in and bought a pizza wrap but the cheese was not melted and the sauce was cold inside. Wasn't easy to eat it was completely destroyed when trying to pick it up. I did have coffee and it was good. But I do think this place needs more attention. Good place to eat healthy and fresh. The restaurant is pretty and clean. Prices are not to expensive. The staff is friendly. There are good options to eat here. If you love the Venezuelan empanadas they have variety to choose among many flavor, and they are not fried. I tried the zucchini pasta with chicken and I really like it, and it was enough. Stopped by today for the first time. I eat clean so I know when food is fresh and clean... and let me tell you this is all that! I got a customizable bowl (small is large!!! I had to split it into two portions) and got to pick from a ton of fresh and healthy sides (quinoa, olives, cilantro, chicken, mixed greens etc). Everything was fresh! Great taste. Not the cheapest but that's the cost you gotta pay for clean healthy food. The place is very cute. My only two complaints is that the extra veggies should NOT be $.99 extra. A spoon full of olives for 99 cents... I think not! A few leaves of cilantro for 99 cents... no no no! Also, let us tip using card!! I'm not only speaking on myself when I say that many people don't carry cash with them anymore. Allow the customers to tip card! Overall, give this place a shot! I'll be coming here often. read more

Great new healthy eating spot in Doral I was introduced to today. Carefully created bowls, wraps and salads built to your liking. A variety of healthy smoothies and some eye catching empanadas also stood out. The "Power Bowl" was unbelievable with each ingredient fresh and crisp. The look of the empanadas alone will bring me back as well as some other unique menu items that caught my eye including, the "ground turkey stuffed sweet potato" and the "Zucchini Pomodoro". Cuencos also has a small market like area with some healthy grab and go type items, including a variety of juices and sugar free desserts. What a gem! I had a six cheese pastry to start and it was delicious, I then had the cantina bowl, it was good but I felt like it was a little bland. They put a lot of yogurt cilantro sauce and it was still bland. But I ended with the pumpkin carrot cake and it was also delicious! The service is quick and employees are friendly. What a great place to have a healthy and delicious meal! I went to Cuencos with coworkers for lunch and everybody loved it! We will definitely go back to try another of their dishes. We tried one of their bowls which we customized. It had quinoa, avocado, mango, cucumber and a tuna mix with ginger dressing. The portion very very nice and filling and it cost $9.50 which is a reasonable price for a lunch meal. We tried their coffee and a chocolate dessert really great! They have wraps, salads, empanadas, aperas, soups, amongst other items but everything on the healthy side which is great! The have parking outside and the staff was very friendly. They also have a small health market offering different types of snacks and vitamins. Great place to try!! read more

Just because they list tofu under the "veggie" options instead been listed under protein options (lol), I can't add this place to HappyCow.net (like Yelp, but for millions of vegans like me driving around looking for food). The young lady at the register was having issues attempting to charge me as she was unaware of how to do so. She barely spoke English and I was expecting more food to come with I had ordered. The products are very good but the girls who attend there are garlic lollipops. I went today and bought several things including a Nutrisnack cake and asked for some talks and they tell me they don't have it. These two employees are new, one had a Colombian accent but the other was the worst. They are new because before there were other young women who were a little more sympathetic, however once a dog like a pit bull or something like that came in and the owner of the dog was a friend of those who worked there and my daughter asked him if he could get it out because his child He is autistic and scared him and the boy was very rude and the girls, as he was friends with them, did nothing.
