Beautiful and modern decor giving a classy touch in Doral Plaza. Being a steakhouse the prices are expected. The complimentary bread was soft and fluffy and if you're not careful you could eat more than you know. Meat was a bit disappointing for a steakhouse and then price, but the cast iron plate was pretty neat. Our Server was also always very attentive and always had our glasses filled with water. I went for a lunch meeting with important vendors. We entered happy and hungry. The restaurant was empty so we had the restaurant to ourselves. We ordered the main beef dish called the Picana and other items. The food was good but not the Argentinian quality beef I admire, it felt like Sysco bought beef. When asking the server about the beef quality, the cut, the origin of the meat, I wasn't answered correctly nor treated with the same interest in the cuisine. The server was dull and unknowledgeable about her restaurant and, frankly Argentina! Our drinks weren't filled on time and after we paid we were ignored for a half hour with our dirty plates and stuff in front of us not even refills on water. Good steak restaurant in Miami. We were here to celebrate a friend birthday. They have a conference room that for over 20 of us. The table was set comfortably with room to spare between chairs. The room is decorated with screen fire, very warming. We start with drink like pomelo drink with ice tea. Delicious. Our appetizers are fried calamari and charcuterie board. The fried calamari is average but the red sauce is good. Charcuterie board has cold cut meat and prosciutto. The main dish is the family style Parrillada Argentina grilled meat. This dish has short rib, grilled chicken, skirt steak, and blood sausage. Our next dish includes the grilled on the table picana. The cut is tasty only a few part is tough to bite. The last dish is the smoke picana. Our desert includes tiramisu and the crepes. The crepe wrap sweet infill and caramelize with sugar. read more

I'll start this reviewer by saying the only thing I would get five stars would be the service we had. The decor on the inside was nice but the restaurant wasn't busy at all. There was one other person there for dinner. To drink I had a mango margarita, and it tasted more like juice mix than anything else. For the cost of the drink, I would say it's not worth it at all. As an appetizer, we got the chorizo and short rib empanadas. The short rib was much better than the chorizo. I honestly didn't see or taste any chorizo in the empanada (the round one). For the main course, I ordered the parrillada and was disappointed yet again. I've order this dish in other restaurants and it has been better. The meat was dry and was lacking seasoning. We also ordered the $110 filet minion was is brought out on a salt stone and seasoned with rosemary and oil. As the oil hits the hot stone a fire comes up and it's cool to watch but the steak has no seasoning again. They said the salt is transferred from the stone but the stone was pretty black and it didn't taste like any salt was transferred. The best part of the meal was the papas (picture attached) they were surprisingly delicious. Everything else failed to hit the mark. As a Argentinian steakhouse, their meat should be seasoned to perfection and mouth watering but was quite the opposite. Dry and lacking flavor. The drinks should be fresh instead of with a juice mix and the food was very overpriced we paid $340 for 4 people for very average meat with sides. With so many good steak options in doral I don't think I'll come back. The service and the potatoes were the only great part for me. read more

Friday dinner with my parents. We chose to try out this Argentinian restaurant. There are so many in the Doral area! I ordered Canelones, they are crepes, stuffed with spinach with tomato sauce and cheese then baked. They were really good! My parents shared a parrillada for one, they eat very little. It was a nice portion, a good amount of food for a meat eater and includes a side. Of course we had wine, thought they would have a bigger selection but we were very happy with the one we had, Catena Cabernet. Dessert was a bit disappointing, a crème brûlée, but it was very liquid and hot. The service was exceptional! From the moment we walked in. Very friendly, knowledgeable, professional. Our first time here. We made a reservation but at 6 on a Friday we didn't need one. It started picking up as we left which is to be expected in Miami. The service was on point and the food was delicious. The vibe in the place was relaxed and they cut our steak table side which was a really cool touch. Gave it the Argentinian steakhouse vibe I was looking for. Meat was well seasoned. Tiramisu was really good. I wish I had more actually and we ordered one to go. We will be back. This Argentine restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center in Doral. I must have passed it a hundred times and never realized it. We found it via yelp and Google as a place to host my daughter's 15th birthday dinner as a pre quince celebration. They accommodated our part of 17 in a vip suite. The place is clean with a modern ambience. The staff was incredibly attentive and provided great service. The food was delicious. We ordered calamari, Garbanzo soup, salads, pasta, Milanesa, chicken and a wide variety of meats. All of them were delicious. Not one complaint from anyone in our group. We brought a cake for my daughter's birthday that they were happy to serve for us for a service fee of $25. I am very grateful for Joseph and his team who made my daughter's night absolutely perfect! I was so worried because I don't eat red meat and it's hard to find good food in a restaurant known for their meat menu but Fuegos del Sur did not disappoint. They served bread with a delicious garlic butter. We ordered a meat empanada to start. It was tasty, nice and crunchy crust but a bit dry. They forgot to bring the sauces so that didn't help! As an entree we shared the Parrilladita Fuegos for two (grilled meat platter). It came with 2 sides so we ordered the house salad and fries. The platter was good but I found the meats a bit overdone, not very thick and some pieces were too fatty. The chicken pieces were tender and the sauce was very good. The salad was very mediocre and although the fries were good, we would've ordered something else had we known what all the sides were. They weren't listed on the menu and the waitress only mentioned these two. For dessert we ordered the panqueques (crepes) and the alfajor fuegos. The crepes were good but could've used some syrup. This place was amazing! From the food to the service to the ambiance it was a fantastic spot. We came here for my birthday dinner and enjoyed every minute. The staff is super friendly and not only does your own waiter/waitress check in on you but so do others and they are constantly bringing you whatever you need. So impressive of a wait staff. We wanted a different place for our Valentine's celebration and somehow this place was the first on the list, which is weird because it is 22 miles from my house and I had set the radius on 10. Anyhow, it was a new name for us and I immediately made the reservation. A new Argentinian Stake house just one mile away from my office and I have never heard of it? Nah. We had to go. When you are parking you are viciously attacked by the fresh, sizzling smell of "carne a la parrilla". I don't know if it was only for tonight because of Cupid being too busy or this is the norm but they have set the grill on the parking lot, right next to the outdoor dining area. That is the first low punch. You become instantly hungry. When you walk in you get to the greeter podium and fall in a state of awe when you realize that you are standing in front of a massive collection of red wine intelligently put in the center of the dining area. Now I am thirsty... We were seated and almost immediately one of the girls brought water and said that our server was going to be with us shortly. This young lady came over and explained to us that because of the special night they had only one menu available which was a set list of different cuts, saladas and sides and then desserts (buffest style) and that while we were trying to decide our orders she would bring a couple of empanadas and matambre arrollado (at this point, if you don't speak Spanish, I suggest you to get a dictionary. It will be very graphic). So, she brought the delicious, amazing, great, authentic empanadas and the matambre arrollado (I personally didn't like it but my wifey loved it). We started with vacio and costillas. Cooked to the order and with French fries , ensalada rusa and "papas rusticas", which turned out to be delicious. My kids kept swinging between empanadas and meat and after trying the picaña and mollejas we went straight to the sweet table. They had 5 or 6 different options, all great from truffles to alfajores de maicena. I want to make a serious side note about the personnel. They were FAN-TAS-TIC. All of them. But the Oscar goes to..... Giselle, our waitress. She was attentive, professional but funny, always detailed oriented and every time we place our order she got it right. We were waiting to be seated and the host was about to greet us until another host interrupted her giving her back towards us and didn't even excuse herself. She send the young lady off and still didn't acknowledge us. The host that interrupted was on the phone completely ignoring us while standing in front of her until a gentleman comes in from behind us who seems to be part of another party and she acknowledges him saying "Andrew? Okay this way" so obviously she is aware of her surroundings but doesn't have the courtesy to just say "sorry to interrupt" or "will be with you momentarily". On Saturday June 10,2023 I tried the above restaurant in Town and Country shopping center in Kendall, Fl. We had a reservation at 7 pm and upon arrival we were immediately taken to our table. Within a few seconds we were poured water and a few minutes later our waiter appeared. Jesus was our server and he was very knowledgeable on the different types of meats on the menu. Jesus recommended the picanha steak for two for $50. We also ordered the roast potatoes, a medley of vegetables. We also ordered a side of mushroom risotto. After we ordered cocktails we received the house bread and butter. The bread was tasty. Our food arrived and the steak is finished off on a cooking grate at our table. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. My wife and I eat several slices each and the portion is large and thus we have great leftovers. The risotto was pasty and I would not order that again. We had the Dulce de Leche crepes and Dulce de Leche ice cream and coffee. The food was outstanding and the service provided by Jesus was outstanding. There is plenty of free parking and I will return to this restaurant. read more
