    Appetizers and Pho flavors

I've come here a couple times and each time I've had great Pho, fabulous yet typical appetizers, it's always fresh as Heck, the service is always very good and I'm always ready for a midday nap and a belly rub when I'm done.. highly recommended and if you're wondering, the ambiance is cafeteria style, modern and clean

Service suck a but food is amazing! Siri f rolls to die for , soup great, beef stew beat in the menu. We have dined in and door dashes several times. Shaking beef good but very small portions, not worth the $. Mam small dry and not with the cost

Sis and I came here because we love the Ding Tea attached to this business and she had a craving for something Asian. She got the beef bowl and I got the Mam sauced wings. She liked the bowl well enough and it was a really generous portion of food. I didn't get to try it because there were peanuts all over it which I'm allergic to. She said it was fine, but she likes Pho Hoa better as far as flavor is concerned. Now for the wings- they were okay. The menu made it sound like they'd be tossed in sauce, but there was very little of it. Were they running out, or was the sauce more of a marinade that the chicken sits in, because I could barely taste it. Because of that, they were very plain tasting. Glad I didn't order more because I'd probably be disappointed. The service was minimal. You seat yourself and a guy comes out, makes no attempt at rapport, which I'm fine with, but it also was to the point that he seemed unhappy to be there. He wasn't mean or rude or anything, but he seemed like he needed the day off.

Came in for a quick bowl of pho 30 mins before closing time and glad we did, because that's all they had. Food arrived quickly, with a plate of sprouts, jalapenos, Thai basil and lime as per usual. Piping hot, delicious broth and a pretty environment made for a satisfying dinner. This is a place I could definitely frequent if I were a local.

I came here for lunch and there's a couple things that I wasn't impressed with, but overall majority I liked it. We ordered the fried egg rolls, the specialty spring roll, the regular spring roll, the stir fried egg noodles, and the shaking beef. I also requested a bowl of their broth. Let's start with the main dishes. The shaking beef was well cooked. It was tender pieces of meat and the vegetables were not soggy. It tastes great but was a little surprised that the citrus taste was so light. The egg noodles were good, but heavy on the carrots and cabbage which seemed slightly over cooked. Out of all the egg rolls we tried, get the specialty. Their sausage they use is delicious! Really brings the whole roll together. Finally, the broth. The broth is light, fragrant, almost floral. I was a little confused because I asked for the broth they used in their beef pho but I supposed marrying the two would make it tasty. It was also a little sweet which I thought was interesting. I normally would use a pinch of sugar but this seemed to purposely be a bit more. If you're looking for decent Vietnamese food, try this place out. They have a couple of diamonds in their menu that's definitely worth trying.

This is a relatively new business, 3 month's or so i believe here at the location by Fred Meyer off college street. They have a simple but clean modern decor, plenty of seating but not on top of each other. I counted tables and chairs and 40 people could be sitting to eat at once. Plus off to the left when you walk in you have a boba counter, so if you are not in the mood to eat you can always just grab a Boba . The food was pretty good, not excellent but definitely above average. The service was friendly and helpful but obviously still new and trying to do well. Vermicelli bowls, shaking beef, fried rice, Pho, and beef stir fry. All were prepared well. I would repeat here for sure.

Pros: good quality food, authenticity, ample seating and parking Cons: smaller portion by comparison to comparable restaurants, some food items have room for improvement

I personally believe myself to be a pad Thai expert :) having eaten probably thousands of pad Thais over the years, always in search of great Thai food and their pad Thai was great! It was more on the basic side with it having minimal pizzazz but the flavor was spot on. Garlic noodles were garlicky, spring rolls were great! And the goons were goonin! I'd go here again if I'm in the area! The outside looked really cool and my husband went inside to grab it but I think the service was great too!

We had the salad rolls- the pork inside was salty and we thought maybe peanut sauce would come with the salad rolls... nope. It was a clear liquid that we couldn't figure out. Well I looked it up and it's a fish sauce. Not good at all. We ordered the Saigon garlic noodles for our entree. I was expecting some awesome, bold, garlicky Thai flavors, but what we got was seriously spaghetti noodles with parmesan cheese on top.....WHAT Why are we eating Italian food here? This has no scallions, no umami flavor, no sauce. there were dry pieces of chicken on the side that was pretty salty. Another odd thing is that we could smell a really weird scent in the restaurant, kind of like dirty feet!? Maybe dried, dirty mop water on the floor!? Strange because the restaurant is so clean. Wont be back. I'm sorry!

I ordered takeout here on a Sunday afternoon through Doordash Pickup for my first visit. I called…read moretwice over the phone, hoping to place an order through this method, but no one answered; went straight to voicemail both times. Just a bit frustrating since I know Doordash charges more.. I also didn't want to place the order at the restaurant because I was so hungry and wanted to grab & go :( I was really craving pho and I liked their menu, so I took the chance and ordered both a regular-sized Meatball Pho (pho bo vien) and their Pho with Steak/Flank/Tendon/Fatty, which seems to be their "pho dac viet." On their menu, the price is listed as $15.99 for a Regular size and $17.99 for a Large. I paid $17.99 for each through Doordash for the regular-size, excluding the almost $4 of tax and bag fee.. Thankfully, I live nearby, so it was just a few minutes to drive over. It's in the same busy parking lot as Safeway and McDonald's but it's more on the opposite side, so I never realized it was in the same lot. Plenty of parking, at least. When I entered, the restaurant had plenty of seating but only a few tables occupied, which made me wonder why they didn't answer their phone.. I know I'm being petty over a few dollars but I just want to get bang for my buck. The inside looked nice and cozy, and I think would be a lovely place to enjoy a bowl of pho on an outcast/rainy day otherwise (if I didn't just want to go straight home lol). I was instantly greeted by a friendly employee that asked if I had a takeout order and escorted me over to a small table, where it was already neatly bagged and ready for me to retrieve. Now, the FOOD. I will say, it was absolutely delicious! Everything was organized and packaged well, so nothing spilled on the ride home. The pho was a good temperature: hot enough to cook the steak, but not overpowering enough to burn your mouth. The regular size still provides ample portions, so both my kiddo and I ate half for lunch, and our other half for dinner. I specifically asked for no beans sprouts with my order, so I do like that they provided enough for my son while still following my instructions. I am not too picky about my pho broth, but I can at least say, the broth here was not watered down. If anything, it might pack too much flavor and might deter some customers, but for me, it was savory and divine! I still had to add my obligatory hoisin and Sriracha sauces, so it might not be the healthiest, but i don't care, I slurped up everything! I usually post images of my food on social media [stories], and actually had a friend ask what the soup was because it looks really good. Some people have a finer palette for "good" Pho but for me, pho is pho as long as it is flavorful and there's a fair amount of MEAT! They offer moderate portions here so I can't complain, and everything was satisfying enough when eaten with the broth. 4 stars because they didn't answer the phone but my son and I devoured everything, so we can at least advocate that the pho is worth it! I'd recommend trying out this restaurant at least, especially if you consider yourself a pho connoisseur (or even a newbie to pho!).

The Vietnamese coffee was indeed very bitter, but thank gosh for our very accommodating waitress who was willing to pour in mil k to sweeten it up for me. Jaric got something with chicken, which was okay. I liked it and it was definitely filling! The restaurant is fun with its yellow lighting, but it is one where you are able to still take nice enough photos as well as read the menu.
