Posting on here because they're deleting my review elsewhere which is so unfair they should at least stand behind their bad work. I came here because of all the positive reviews. I asked for analee. I got a new set and I showed her a picture. She said yes she could and proceeded to do the most half ass job, when she couldn't force an acrylic nail between my real nail and my acrylic (which I know is a common method but she was rough AF) she proceeded to soak my other hand in acetone and filed it down until my fingernails were on fire but still managed to not get it all off and just put new powder over it. She then did no prep, no cuticle care, nothing. She also did the wrong shade of color and when I told her she said "what do you want me to do it's already on" I told her that it's not what I asked for and she just kept putting on more layers of top coat and glitter until my nails were thick AF. She then had the nerve to ask if I like them. She either really doesn't care about doing a bad job or she is just not good at doing nails. Either way $65 dollars down the drain. Beware of this place.

4 days later and half my nails came off. I spent $50 on my nails and I'm so upset. Now my nails look like absolute crap and honestly I don't want to go back to this place again so they can put on nails that will fall off in 4 days again. Extremely disappointed.

Not great quality work! I came in about 45 minutes prior to closing a few nights ago. I wanted a dip powder manicure to replace my existing, outgrown manicure. I wanted to just make an appointment for the next morning but the lady insisted that I should stay and have my nails done right then. I thought it was a little late to take in a walk-in so I asked "are you sure?" And she again said "yes, we can do it now". She sat me down next to the client she was finishing up on and set a big bowl of a very strong smelling chemical in front of me and told me "take off your old nails"! I was flabbergasted, I do not work here, I don't know how to properly remove my overlay. I was very angry but since I had already dipped one hand in the bowl I felt obligated to just go ahead and do it. After I removed my own nails she hastily started to dip and set each nail. She did a very rushed job, my nails are uneven and lumpy and it's been only 4 days since I came and my nails are already a HOT MESS. she had to nerve to charge me the full $50! I am so offended and would not recommend that you go here!

I've been going here for awhile now, and just today witnessed racial profiling to not only myself but also another POC during my visit. We were separately accused of being free-loaders and were given poor customer service which was not at all what I expected. If I'm paying $45 for a full set I expect my nails to be how I want them with no issues & if I make a suggestion I expect to have a civil conversation and not be treated differently because a worker may or may-not have had a bad experience with another POC in the past. In return I asked for a refund which they declined (having no paperwork or signage to back it up), but did however offer to fix them. Lou was very aggressive and forward with how she felt, and made me feel very uncomfortable. Easy to say I won't be going back here or suggesting it to anyone.

Do not come here for for lashes please! Not worth you $80. On top of start the process late because the lash tech was busy, i asked for natural lashes and thin. Process took less then an hour, and the tech gave me thick lashes. Which was not what I requested. She told she did them just for me ( don't know where she assumed I wanted them). The inner corner of my right eye has a gap And super uneven. The lashes are all one size, they're not a different size to make em look real. Lashes feel So fake and there super heavy in my eyes. I do not recommend this spot at all for lashes. Not only that, the tech didn't even tell me about the care instructions and what to do. The lashes seem like their in bundles, they have much knowledge on the the type of curls, and they weren't willing to see or give advice on what might look best for my eye shape. After I kept saying it's my first time. No please save your money.

She did the application of my gel nails good , buffed them well, shaped them well....but the designs were horrible :/ They were messy and not cute. I was so upset I left with clear nails. I don't understand when salons don't hire people who know how to do designs. It's very on trend . Who gets regular polish anymore ???

What i do know, is they change the price of your service everytime you go. Never consistent in the pricing. One time I went there I was charged $175 and the next time I went I was charged $280 for the same exact service I will never return to this location read more

I love this salon!!!! When I'm in town this is by go-to. The owner always fits me in and does exactly everything I want. Keep in mind I do VERY long VERY blinged out sets everytime and she kills it The offer free refreshments to all guests and the work is worth every penny ! Def recommend read more

Jade is the best. All of the ladies are very attentive, talented in design and thorough. I always have a good experience. Prices are average I guess. There's a new lady there.. she's gotten better at pedicures but I paid extra for foot massage and it was terrible! So disappointing. Won't be doing that again. read more

Though my nails look ok, I spent $30 and she maybe spend 30 minutes on them, no massage, rough handling, jumping from me to the other client. It was annoying. Now after only a week, the edges are coming up and catching on everything. read more

This salon is out standing. Great customer service, great work, very kind and generous. I've been in Portland 2 years and this is the first time I've found a salon I'm honored to call my home salon. Seriously, they go above and beyond. I'm an annoying customer the kind that needs the most 10 minutes before closing and they always accommodate with out even rushing me or their work! read more

This is my first Yelp review and I'm not much of a complainer but this is an act of humanity if I can save another human from the type of experience I encountered. In search for a year overdue pedicure I called here for an appointment on the same day and they had a 3:20 available. Came in a few minutes early and they asked if they could help. Told them I had called and scheduled an appointment and then they didn't respond to me. Okay. Following typical pedicure protocol I went to pick out a color from their (lacking) selection of polish. The first three I choose were empty or dried out. Settled with a polish and stood waiting. A staff then waved me over to a spa chair where I settled in. One star for perfectly warmed water. I remained settled in that chair for thirty minutes waiting for my pedicure to begin. It was 3:50 by the time anyone came to touch my feet. The pedicure itself was mediocre. No hot stones or special attention to foot massage. One star for not hacking the pedicure itself. This may not seem major but it was a total turn off for a social worker who was using this experience as an indulgent act of self care. read more

Save your money go to somewhere else and they used cheap material and use the same nail file. My nails fell off after one week and started lifting, I was charged $60 dollars for colored acrylic with no design Jenny was very pushy to me to get a design after I said no multiple times. The first time I went to fresh nails they did a amazing job! Then after that it all when down hill very sad that I will not continue going to this nail shop no more!! And Jenny is very rough read more

My family and I are in Portland on vacation and decided to get our nails done and this was the only place within the next couple miles that had time for a walk in... Now I see why. Their color selection was extremely small and most of it was very cheap brands, not to mention customer service definitely left something to be desired. My mothers manicure was done painstakingly slowly and mine was clearly rushed through because the manicurist had an appointment coming up. I asked to have my nails filed square but ended up with all nails rounded, and some much more square than others. The application was extremely clumpy and uneven and I was left with nail polish flooding my cuticles and on the sides of my nails which she tried to clean up... Poorly. In the end I would have been far better off just doing my nails at home and wished I would have just waited. read more

Came in for a back fill today. I'm pretty easy going and just ask that my nails look even. Unfortunately, my nails were not even at all... the shape, length and amount of white were all inconsistent. My nails looked terrible and I had to reshape them when I got home. Everything about this place was sloppy. read more

This ridiculous I have been here before and all the times I came the same thing happened and they do nothing about it and I done giving them chances because I'm done paying $60+ each time but this is the first time I'm saying something about this mess 1 nails fell off and 4 nails all the paint is chipping and one finger There is not paint and I got colored acrylic and the tip was paint and I only had them for not even a week and they what chipped and the last time 2 of my nails fell of having for 3 days and the service is really rude and pushy and it seems like they don't even try and most of the time they are crooked and not the same size and the lady Jenny made the divisor fall and all the diamonds bill and she tried to make it my fault when I was all the way on the other side and she hit it with her arm and you made my phone fell on the floor and said nothing about it save your money and don't go here it's a serious waste read more

Will never go here again! They are not friendly, racist and VERY disrespectful! Especially AnnaLee I would not recommend anyone go here! The owner does not care that her staff are unprofessional and are mistreating customers. The card machine NEVER works and they basically make you take cash out, which includes a fee. I've told her on several occasions that the way she does my nails hurts my natural ones, and she simply doesn't care. DO NOT GO HERE! My nails also break off after 2 weeks. It's a no for me. read more

On a sunday when you need to get your nails done and everyplace is closed this place works. It was $30 for a mani/pedi which is fine but they charged me $3 for flip flops that are made of paper, thats a little steep and ridiculous. Other than that the service is nice and friendly. Great foot massages, which is really why I went in. read more

There's nothing "natural" about this place. But it's affordable and Tony is WONDERFUL. He is friendly, detail oriented and does consistently great work. Everyone here is talented and I've never had a bad experience, Tony is just my favorite. read more

We were in Portland on a girl trip and decided pedicures were in order. We called 20 minutes before they closed to see if they would take 3 people (and one stuffed moose... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Seymour-Moose/107214332637885?fref=ts). Everyone at the salon was extremely accommodating and friendly, even when they stayed an hour late for us. Plus, the shop was clean and it was surprisingly inexpensive for a pedicure that has lasted well over a month. Highly recommended! read more

So happy I found this place today! I was gonna go to Top Nail, but when I walked in they wanted me to wait an hour and a half, granted I didn't have an appt... but it was 11:30 AM, I didn't think it would be that busy! So I had passed Natural Nail on my way in and decided to go in and try there, when I walked in they looked busier than the previous place but Analee took me right away! She was very sweet and welcoming, she has very good attention to detail and works quickly and efficiently, She had started on my nails at about 11:50AM and my full set was done by 12:21... of course I had some dry time but that was super fast, I was amazed! ...part of the reason I don't go regularly to get my nails done is I can't stand sitting in the chair for an hour sometimes more and now I don't have to! I will definitely be back! read more

I was a regular client here for almost 3 years. It was a decent place for a quick manicure. I booked an appointment here on my birthday for a gel manicure. I didn't mind waiting 10 minutes for them to finish the previous client and then get me seated. It was quite busy however they sat me and proceeded to remove my previous gel manicure. The woman doing my nails went to work on another girls nails while the foils were removing my old gel. She came back 25 minutes later (quite a long time) and removed the foils, scraped off the polish and then had me soak my hands in water. I soaked my hands for almost 30 minutes. At this point I was pretty disappointed that I'd been there for over an hour and they hadn't even started on the actual manicure. They reassured me that they would be with me soon. Being that I had dinner reservations for my birthday I ended up waking out, no gel manicure, just naked nails with remnants of my last gel mani on my nails after 90 minutes. I simply told them " I see that you're busy, I'd much rather you tell me that you double booked me than waste my time sitting here and soaking my hands. I have dinner reservations and unlike you, I will not have people waiting for me when we agreed on a time. I won't be back." read more

To be fair, my nails are thin from recovering from having dips for a couple months. However i wish these lasted longer. I will not be back due to the rushing of service, lack of attention to detail, unclean environment, and poor customer service.

I was looking around for the best and affordable priced acrylic nails in the style I wanted and Fresh Nails was exactly what I was looking for! It was very peaceful, very well done, the ladies in there were very nice. They welcomed and accepted my family in as well which was very nice of them. And a few other women and a baby came in while I was there and the other lady was very patient with the child and mother (as she accidentally broke a glass bottle). I tipped the lady $5 and the cost was $60. Other places said that I would need to pay $100 for the same exact thing so I was very surprised and grateful about the price. The performance was great as well and the nails looked better than inspiration picture that I provided! I was and still amazed and everyone loves them! I've been to many nail shops and this is my favorite. I am very picky when it comes to my nails and the design. Here they never leave me disappointed. Even though it's my second time I will always come back. I bring my girlfriends here all the time and they love it here. We get our nails done with quality and creativity. Service is fast also. Price is SUPER affordable. The designs here are super creative and in Portland, it's hard to find creative designs. In addition, everywhere I go people compliment my nails. Lee is SO good! I love the shape and length of my nails, and she did exactly what I asked. The salon offered a fair price and took a reasonable amount of time. I told her my pinky nail was thin and weak and she made sure to be very delicate when she was filing it. Her desk also had a bunch of designs to choose from. She's very talented! It gets a little warm in the salon but they always keep the door propped. Annale is the best! I came to Fresh Nails for the first time today and asked for coffin shaped nails (which NO ONE ever gets the way I like, but she nailed it(haha) first try) She did a fabulous job on my pedicure too, my hand and feet have never looked or felt better. Should've read the reviews before coming here literally one of the worst nail salons I've been to. My nails are uneven, I showed them a picture of what I wanted when I first got there and then turned out they couldn't do them until after the lady that was doing my nails first didn't even know how to do them I was there for over an hour. My daughter and I went to Natural Nails because we needed pedicures and they were close. They were relatively busy but we waited no more than 10 minutes, with no appointment. They were quick but very professional and gave us a good product. We got their deluxe pedi and felt like royalty. I would definitely make them my regular salon. read more
