Absolutely amazing service! From out of town (california) and came here for a soak off. Even though they did not soak off my nails they took them off in a really nice clean and safe fashion, got a manicure and she literally got years off cuticles LOL! Shaped my natural nails soooooooo gorgeous, I felt brand new!! Quinn is an absolutely fantastic tech and loved the calming atmosphere with the music ~ tv is soooo cool with views of Vietnam, absolutely love love love this place! My wife is in town to have a surgery and went in for a manicure and pedicure yesterday. She got gel nails but today one of the nails completely came off. That has never happened in all the years of manicures. Especially with a high cost manicure like this. We called today for a partial refund. They said she needs to come in and she told them that is not possible. We told them this multiple times. They said that there is no way for them to refund us. Our only option is to come back in but that is impossible because we are from out of town and leaving after the surgery. We sent them a photo and they were not interested in making things right. Not even a partial refund :( Very poor business practice and service. They seem to have an inability to comprehend our very clear request. read more

I scheduled appointments for my mother and myself. The prices for the pedicures were clear but when it came to the manicures somehow it was never discussed. Our grand total was over $300. My dip manicure was bumpy and started chipping the next week. My mom kept asking for her full set to be shorter and more rounded and the women helping her just smiled and never adjusted her long and pointed nails. The other women working could have helped the woman working with her if she had an issue understanding. No one intervened. They just smiled and took the money. My mom is on oxygen and I was busy worrying about her so did not pay attention at the time of service. Only after did I notice that we both had gotten less than expected for such a premium price. I have had this type of service before last for over 6 weeks or more. read more

First of all the mail tech was the most gentle person I've ever had do my nails. My cuticles are in fantastic condition and she was super easy on my nails which I loved. There was no forced conversation which I also appreciate as I was super tired this morning. She was very detail orientated and made sure none of my nails were lumpy. My nails are so smooth and even and she took her time to make sure they were perfect. No complaints. Also I was the only one there which also helped with a relaxing vibe. read more

the staff was very friendly and did a thorough job unfortunately the quality of my manicure was not good. I sat and waited well over 25 minutes with my nails in front of the fan drying and later that evening two of my nails chipped and the next day all of my nails were cracked, I think either the nail polish was expired or the top coat used was wrong. read more

Their total attitude if a client call make an appointment with a certain tech and you confirm that appointment with that tech and when you arrive they say that a client was late threw you behind so this person can do for you???? That's not professional at all and each client should have the same service and respect as the one who have been your client as the one who have just made an appointment!! I desperately wanted to take off overgrown acrylics done at another salon and go back to my natural nails so I did a quick search on Yelp, found this salon, and booked an appointment via Yelp! After the acrylics removal, I opted for a simple gel manicure with some nail art. The nail tech was very meticulous and careful... honestly, this may be one of the best gel manicures I've ever had. I've been getting Dip nails for the past year and a half, at the same salon. I love them, but I'm no longer in NW so I came here in hopes to find a closer to home salon. Their process of dip is just a little different than I'm used to. Usually before the color dip, I get a layer of clear dip. And most importantly, before the final top coat, I'm usually asked to wash my hands. However, top coat was placed THEN I washed my hands after they tried 15 minutes later. Not sure what my other salon does but their top coat dries in 2-3 minutes. Moral of the story, my nails don't feel smooth like I'm used to, possibly because left behind dust since they are slightly "bumpy". Would I go back? Yes. Am I completely giving up on my NW Salon? No. UPDATE: I have one nail already chipping less than a week after getting them done. Dip usually lasts me 3 weeks before I have to get them done again, as long as I don't do anything personally to break, crack, or chip them. read more

Came here for a French pedi. The salon is lonely every time I come. The lady's doing the pedicure are nice to an extent. They get mad when you mention that you don't like a certain thing. I get my nails done by someone else (not a salon) when I told the lady that my French was off she said I should've went to the girl that did my nails. Like trust, I would if she did pedis!!! This is my second time coming and definitely my last. everyone here talks shit about the clients and they make it very noticeable. Not worth the price! A basic pedicure with NO shellac was $52 They charged me to take off the shellac they put on! Ridiculous. read more

My normal salon was booked so I thought I'd given Skylar a try. I brought a picture (short round milky) and picked out a color from the options they gave me to then be told they were out of that color. Ok fine. Then after a VERY light file and no shaping they started putting on the dip. No cleaning of the nails or cutting the cuticles. One of my nails was broken so I asked for all my nails to be trimmed to that length so they'd be the same but was ignored. I asked again and was told yeah but it was never done. She then put on big gloppy amounts dip and top coat. No attention to detail, just think and sloppy amounts of dip/top coat. I thought maybe she would shape the nails at the end but never did so when I asked her to do I was just told she did her best and not much to be done since I came in with different shapes on each nailSo I left with ragged edges and messy cuticles and lots of dips and top coat under my nails and stuck to my fingers. read more

Wonderful service and facility. One of the nicest massage chairs I've experienced. We had to schedule 30mins ahead on a busy Friday but it was worth it. They have an easy menu to choose from and the Pedi was AWESOME I opted for the basic pedi with the scrub and callous removal. Kim was my technician and she was great, very thorough and delicate. We were offered free beverage and OMG the rolling ball massage chair was awesome! I ordered a pedi with scrub and callus removal (35), and Tu was my lady. Be sure to ask for Mia as she is amazing and talented. She is friendly, kind and interesting to talk to. In the Bay Area they charge $45 to $55 BUT here they only charged $28 so inexpensive. Mai spent over an hour and she did a fabulous job. I highly recommend her and this lovely salon. read more

Called for a quick shellac mani and they were able to accommodate me within minutes. I didn't ask the nail tech for her name but she sits at the far end. She was lovely! They are very attentive, have great energy, and everything was so clean. The manicure was one of the best I've had. Definitely worth the $25! Tonsssss of great polish color choices. Got the Basic Plus pedicure and the hot stone massage and paraffin wax were just so amazing. Nail spas do not get any better than this. Came here on a whim to treat a friend to a birthday pedicure the last time I was in Portland. I should say, I go for pedicures pretty regularly in my hometown of Boston, and I have one spa in particular that is my gold standard for service. Royalty nails is just as good as that place, if not even better. First off, Royalty took us right away as walk-ins on a Saturday afternoon. They also offer complimentary beverages ranging from water to champagne, and their technicians are super-friendly -- they were laughing with each other and seemed to enjoy entertaining a very precocious six-year-old who was there with her mom. The woman working on my friend's feet asked if we had ever been in before; we told her it was our first time and that we'd come in based on their good reviews, which seemed to thrill her. As for the service itself, they went above and beyond. My friend and I asked for standard pedicures -- I don't recall what the service was actually called, but I think it was supposed to cost $35. Well, our technicians went ahead and treated us to their luxury option, which included a sugar scrub, paraffin wax, callous treatment (they busted out one of those gross-yet-can't-look-away cheese grater-looking things for that bit), an *insanely* amazing calf/foot massage, and a host of other indulgent treat-yo-self elements that lasted over an hour and left both of us sighing, "Aaaaaaaaah." Our nails came out really well, too! I would have gladly paid the full price for how terrific the experience was (I think that treatment level was $65+), but since we were first-timers, they only charged us for the standard treatment. Class act. I tipped them well. If you're looking for a quality nail spa, look no further. This place is just about as good as it gets. read more

In fact, I wish I could give her 10 stars. The thing that really stands out about her is how much she cares about her clients. She cares about making them feel comfortable. She cares about listening to whatever is going on in their lives. She cares about creating a welcoming environment. Mostly, she cares about providing a really great service. I've always left my appointments with her with a little spring in my step. It's weird to say that getting waxed is fun when it hurts like hell, but she makes this something I look forward to. She is just so fun and easy to be around! I also love that I never feel judged or uncomfortable; Pink Moon is truly a safe space. There are NO pretentious vibes here. The pressure was firm and consistent, and she helped provide relief to troublesome areas. I will absolutely be back to see Renee! Unfortunately, I did not like the outcome of my brows. She thinned them down and I left still with hair in between my eyebrows. No one wants to leave with totally different eyebrows than they wanted. My take away is that if you've never tried "sugaring"- just stick with waxing. Ive had better experiences at other waxing locations and will continue to go back to them after my eyebrows grow back (lol).

I came back later after my brunch when I saw more people inside and asked to get my gel removed. She came over and said I had asked for regular polish removal earlier. I said "I didn't but do you have anyone who can take off gel nails?". She then KEPTTTT coming over to say how I said regular nails earlier. And??? We are done with what happened earlier and you mishearing me. Also $15 for gel removal is so expensive.
