I've been coming here about one year for nail fills, pedicures and facial waxing. Some of the employees speak good English, some barely know any English, but they're all very nice. My favorite is Nu, she's a fantastic nail tech. They used to only accept cash payments (on-site ATM) but they recently installed a credit card payment system. Their polish selection is quite extensive. They offer complimentary beverages with pedicures (including wine and mimosas) and non-alcoholic beverages with nail services (soda, coffee, tea). Parking in this neighborhood can be really, really challenging, so give yourself a few extra minutes to either circle the block a few times or maybe park a couple blocks away and walk. read more

My first time visiting this salon and I'll for sure visit again. The salon was clean, the staff was professional and I am pleased with my service. I received a builder gel fill and a spa pedicure with gel polish, my total came out to $139. Nails: fill, with French tip, design and jewels -$66 Toes: deluxe spa pedicure with gel $73 Wendy did my toes and she did an amazing job on my massage and clean up of my cuticles, she was so sweet and attentive! I have been coming to this spot for many years and was so excited when the new ownership came and started doing acrylics. I've had them done here a couple times and my experiences have been great, but my last experience was so amazing I had to share. Hemmy (sorry if I spelled wrong!!) gave me this INCREDIBLE set of matte black stilettos with a cute little fern design and I'm obsessed. I can't stop staring at them, seriously. She also stayed past closing to finish them (they were busy when I arrived and took a few minutes to get to me) and did not make me feel rushed literally at all. She took her time and constantly checked in to make sure I was happy with things, and she spent a lot of time getting the shape exactly how I wanted. Everything was very clean. Very important to me. The person who helped me was nice but spoke no English. It was difficult to explain what I wanted. The atmosphere was nice. My cuticles should have been soaked and pushed back, not trimmed. It has been a while so I forgot to insist. They are a bit ragged now. Polish was applied unevenly so two nails were still very wet when the rest were dry. I think I will try them again and see how they do. Cleanliness is so important and they did that well. read more

The first time I came in, I was stressed with really bad anxiety, and the nail tech made me feel comfortable and gave me perfect pink nails. Unfortunately, my second visit was awful. During my pedicure, my foot slipped off the stand, and the nail tech looked like she was ready to kill me. If you misunderstand them, expect dirty looks. My manicure ended up with three obvious air bubbles. When checking out, I had to wait several minutes without anyone telling me the price. When I asked another tech twice because I couldn't hear her the first time, I was met with rudeness and a nasty glare. I even made a friendly comment about another customer's Diet Coke, saying I liked Coke too, and was told I'd have to pay for it--when I never asked for one. Both the customer and tech glared at me afterward. You could have had $150 of consistent business every two weeks, but because of the rudeness, I won't be coming back. read more

From the moment I walked in and was offered a beverage to the kind and detailed service that I received during my manicure, I could not have been happier with the personal attention I received. I felt very comfortable at Phoenix Nail Salon and was quite pleased with the pedicure and manicure I received from Wendy. It had been a LONG time since my last pedicure, and there were 2 layers of paint (from the original pedicure and from my attempt to "touch it up") and my feet looked pretty rough. Wendy was very patient with my jumpiness and spent considerable time addressing the calluses and other issues with my feet. The manicure that she gave me is fantastic, felt very spoiled by the neck and arm massage. I agree with Sonya that the space is really nice. There was no smell of acetone, it was extremely clean, and the staff were attentive to each of the clients. The owner, manager, and staff appeared to treat each other with as much courtesy and respect as they did the clients, this has not always been my experience at other nail salons.
