The strings of lights on the ceiling was making my husband feel a little queasy, but other than that, our experience at Fresh Mint was very positive. The waiters were really nice. One even recommended an Indian movie (since we were watching the music videos they had on a TV), and brought us some things to try (green chilies, a couple of sweets), I think because we're enthusiastic about spicy Indian food. There was a complimentary appetizer of two flat, crisp crackers with spiced herb and tamarind dips. The herb dip was tasty, but the tamarind was a bit too sweet for me (a shame, since I love tamarind). We ordered the Begara Beigan and Nilgiri Kurma (as spicy as they would make them), since they were different and sounded interesting. The Begara Beigan had big chunks of eggplant, rather than mashed like I expected, and the Nilgiri Kurma had a lot of mint, which my husband isn't a fan of. Both dishes were still quite good (flavorful and spicy), though. The Begara Beigan was smoky, earthy, and rich, and the Nilgiri Kurma was herby, light, and somewhat sweet. There was also a complimentary little side of pumkin curry, which was apparently a leftover from the lunch buffet, and it was amazing. We could've eaten a whole dish of it. It was a lovely experience (despite the lights), and we'll be curious to try their other dishes, since even ones that weren't quite our tastes were exceptional. read more

Best Indian in Morgantown, hands down. Great lunch buffet with tons of options -- all my favorites (chicken tikka masala, naan, kheer) plus lots of other dishes to try, many of which rotate. I always leave feeling a little too full :) read more

This place is phenomenal. The spicing is delicate and deliberate, everything from scratch. We ordered the palak paneer, Channa masala, and aloo gobi. Vegetarian paradise ensued folks. The owner gave us a complimentary dessert which made me make sex sounds uncontrollably. Take out, dine in doesn't matter just eat here. read more

Everything we ordered was amazing and the waiter was patient with our questions on portions and heat levels.

Every bite DELICIOUS! The garlic naan was so tender, the palak paneer, sizzling chicken kabobs & samosas, FRESH & spiced JUST RIGHT. We traveled from Cumberland, MD which has no Indian restaurants to indulge our passion for this cuisine & it was well worth it! The left-overs were just as tasty too. The owner was so kind to us too. We will come back soon! read more

This restaurant is WONDERFUL !!! If you are familiar with Indian cooking, you will agree that this restaurant serves an unusually broad range of cuisine from both South India (vegetarian), and North India, (meat dishes). I have been to dozens of Indian restaurants in the past 40 years, and I have visited India three times. I love the food. (BTW, India is a great vacation destination if you are adventurous and open-minded. It's so rich in culture, history, and lovely, friendly people who also speak English.) "Fresh Mint" ranks among the best Indian restaurants that I have ever visited. The people of Morgantown are very lucky to have such an exceptionally authentic gourmet restaurant in their town. If you have never tried Indian food, be bold, be brave, be adventurous. Go try one their Biriyani rice dishes. You will be so glad you did. George G. read more

Terrific food, out of all the restaurants in Morgantown I would highly recommend this one if you like Indian food.

Food was incredible. Went a few days ago with 7 of my family and whole service was incredible. Spring rolls and samosas so great as an appetizer. The real winner was the tikka masala with a side of garlic naan. Would definitely go again. Everyone should go. read more

Fresh Mint - Tikka Masala with garlic naan bread - Indian Near Me - Morgantown, West Virginia

We found Fresh Mint on line while traveling through WV. It was 20 minutes out the way to get there, and 20 more minutes back to the interstate. And definitely worth it! We are fans if Indian food, but weren't too sure what to expect. Believe me, this is one of the best Indian restaurants we've been too. They were doing a brisk take-out business while we were there, so evidently the community likes it too. Highly recommended. read more

We stopped here just before they closed but they still served us. The service was great, the food was amazing, the level of hospitality was overwhelming. We will definitely stop here again any time we are in the area. We are visiting the area from California and came across this lovely gem which we wish we could take home with us. read more

My fiancé and I visited Fresh Mint this past weekend to try their food for our wedding. Everything we had was amazing!! had been talking to chef Suresh who was very professional, accommodating and responsive to all my queries. We drove 3.5 hrs to try their food and sign a contract to book them as our caterer for the wedding. The drive was totally worth it! Attached pictures will show everything we tasted and it's all on the wedding menu!! So glad I found them! :) read more

So glad to have a very good Indian restaurant in Morgantown!! Excellent service, great buffet and good value for money.

Foods good but they kinda hustled me when i ordered two separate order of rice. Instead if packing it separate They just packed it into a slightly bigger bowl so in other words it kind a look like a lost on that deal. $40.00 for two bowls of butter chicken and one bowl of rice. At least they gave me extra chicken.. read more

Decent enough food - my dosa was great, and they have some interesting Indo-Chinese dishes - but the night we were there (Saturday evening) it was total chaos. Some tables ordered and got their food immediately, others had to wait for hours or got the wrong orders. Our dishes came out randomly, so some of us had finished before others got their mains. Some dishes never showed up but at least were taken off the bill. They've got a lot to iron out. read more

Unimpressive at best. Food was great, service terrible. Personally I like to see a balance of good on both sides, but this place does not deliver that. read more

I've been getting Fresh Mint since it opened. It never fails to impress me. They remember me by name, sometimes even give me little treats for free. They are so kind, the food is so good, and you really get your value for your dollar. I can't recommend this place enough. I've seen a few Indian restaurants in Morgantown come and go, so I hope this one is here to stay. They are by far the best in the area. read more

Always great food! Very authentic. Extensive menu with a lot of selections. 5/5 recommend!

Friendly service and deliciousness to back it up. They have a great variety on the buffet and totally reasonable prices.

Filthy restaurant with slow and rude staff. If it was possible for me to give no stars I would. Stay away from the Biryani unless you want vomiting and diarrhea like it gave me. read more

I haven't eaten Indian food in many years because I'm really picky about it and we didn't have any decent options. Until now. I tried Fresh Mint because of all the positive reviews I read on Facebook. It is amazing!! By far the best Indian food I've had in ages. Also, the employees are extremely attentive and friendly. I'm sitting here in pain from overindulging but I'm also already thinking about when I'm going to go back for more. read more

Morgantown doesn't have the best variety of restaurants. Therefore my husband and I are very grateful that this place opened here. The food is fantastic! The samosas and vegetable pakora are delicious. All of their naan is so yummy, that perfect chewiness with some crunchy well baked bits. I like vegetarian dishes while my husband prefers extra spicy meat dishes and neither of us have found an entree we wouldn't order again. The flavors are truly phenomenal. We typically order out and the food is always hot and ready when they say it will be. Twice we've dined in and it seems like a family owned and operated place. When I work a night shift, I and my colleagues will often order from Fresh Mint and everyone really enjoys their food. I hope the place stays open for a very long time. read more

We were looking for something different for dinner and decided on Fresh Mint. We were in luck, they were open and having a dinner buffet. This gave us an chance to sample several different dishes.
