I have been going to Halen for my nails and Jessica for my toes for 8 years. I always leave happy, and my hard gel manicure and pedicure lasts me 3 to 4 weeks. They have a great variety of color. The staff is kind, and truly cares about your happiness. My nail designs are always on point! I went to get my car washed across the street at AQUA car wash and I was desperate for a pedicure! I asked the lady at the front desk if there was a salon near by. She said she had heard good reviews about this place. I walked in and was greeted by Nancy. She ran the foot bath immediately. Got me all comfy and situated. To my surprise, she has a good selection of colors! I ended up choosing one of hers I stead of using my own. The pedicure chairs are super comfortable and work! Boss lady or owner not sure who. She put a cone to save her spot. "It's public parking " so that's already wrong. This guy in a big truck parked weird taking 2 lanes so I had to park along him. I wasn't trying to dwell over it so I just parked along him. I was trying not to go on the next parking. Where the cone was. I was being thoughtful. Next thing you know I came back to the cone gone boss lady next to me. Now, because i had to park along the first dumb dumb now I was sawn-wished and couldn't get in my car. I asked and it was boss ladies car. I was going to explain but she cut me off and didn't let me talk. I could have said something but I figured its worthless to explain specially as rude as she came up as. I understand that she got mad at me for parking weird in front of her business, but putting a cone for your own parking rather than your clients idk ?... still had to come and say something. Kieu was the most patient and dedicated hairstylist I've encountered so far. It took me around 3 bleaches to get to the pale yellow in preparation for my grey hair, and Kieu was very careful and patient with her work. She even stayed very late for me as well! The color came out just the way I want it, so be sure to communicate very well to Kieu what you want. Remember that if you want to go silver or any other color, it's gonna take a very long time and probably a painful experience as well, so be patient with your stylist. Bring some books or snacks to munch on when you're seeking this color at the salon because it's gonna take awhile! The store is very spacious and bright, so it makes you feel very welcoming. There are 7/11 and Mexican food place next door, so that's a plus! Definitely recommended! read more

I was referred here by a friend and honestly was skeptical as I'm very picky and don't just let anyone do my hair. I already have a stylist in little Italy which is very close to me, but I decided to give it a shot and I'm SO happy I did! I called first for an appt and Kieu was super sweet and said to just come in anytime as she was available. I arrived expecting only a trim as I'm trying to grow my hair out, but I asked her about dying my current ombré as I wanted to go back to my natural color, but wanted to minimize the awkward grow out phase. Less than 2 hours later, I feel like a new woman! I also went for the deep conditioning so my hair is shinier.
