Love the food truck vibe, love the atmosphere, and obviously I love a lobster roll.

After that, why not just split some street meat? Pete's had the fanciest looking cart-all the other ones look like the dingy carts you see all over NYC and he was pretty friendly. We looked at the menu and ordered the Italian sausage and he offered us an alternative to the regular style one served with onions and peppers 'like everyone else.' He was going to spice it up with marinara, basil and fresh mozzarella. Once he got us hooked on it, he mentioned it was a dollar more; paying 10 bucks for a sausage is a little much but being kind of duped into it definitely put it a little over the top. The sausage, however, was good and the mozz was fresh. Pete himself smoothed things over by telling us that he'd give us one on the house when we came by later. We never took him up on it though because we were fast asleep not too soon after being filled with his meats.

This traditional Key West style pink and white shack is next to the aquarium and sponge market…read more Before going into the aquarium, grabbed a cold homemade Key Limeaid drink for $4.00, seems Key Lime is the big flavor around these parts. It was a large Pepsi cup (would have liked a business logo stamped cup) and helped to quench my thirst but maybe too sugary of a sweet treat. Walking around Key West it is always a good idea to have fluids with you to avoid heatstroke. As for eats, they specialize in fried conch and chicken fritters with shrimp, clam and fish baskets. Like everywhere else around the Keys, they also offer key lime pie on the stick. No line out front so not really how sure the quality of the food other than from customer reviews with a 4 star rating, but a great spot with cheap fried food and soft drinks.
