(If not the best) From the moment we walked up, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and great with suggestions for those who are unsure with what they want. The food- I don't think a birria taco has lasted less time on my plate than this. The birria was juicy and not dry, the consummé was the perfect blend of bitters and saltiness. Onions and cilantro were flavorful yet not overpowering. You can tell they take pride in the quality of both their food and service here. The ambiance is bright and welcoming. Most food trucks are not as lit up or do not have seating. Pescado has seating, tables, umbrellas, fans, and lights for ambiance. Came here on a whip after a good beach day with family. Wanted some seafood and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the shrimp sandwiches and was able to get them to make some shrimp ceviche. The food portions were on point as the sandwich was BIG, and it had a hefty amount of shrimp on it which I LOVE. The ceviche was also a plate full which was great. The staff was very nice and attentive. The only thing I would say is prepare to WAIT. They take a long time making it probably because most of it is made to order. Stopped by for lunch on the hunt for some good seafood and was very happy with what I found. Ordered the fish sandwich with blackened mahi mahi and key lime aioli. The fish was perfectly cooked, moist, flavorful, and fresh tasting. The key lime aioli had a brighter flavor than a typical aioli and was a nice compliment to the fish without overpowering it. Lettuce and tomato were included on the sandwich and French fries come on the side sprinkled with seasoning. Let me start by saying that this place is phenomenal. Right away we were greeted by a woman that took our order that was as friendly as could be. We were then introduced to Justin the owner and chef who started chatting it up with us as he cooked our food. He asked where we were from (Wisconsin) and why we were in town. My wife and I had the shrimp basket and lobster roll. Both were great. Lots of lobster in the roll and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I stopped and picked up lunch here last week. They two people running the food truck were very friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasant and easy experience ordering and they have a few benches and ironing board tables set up w/ umbrellas to eat in the shade. Overall I thought the food was ok but wish that they had some lighter options that weren't fried. My family ordered the Key West Pink Po Boy and the Royal Red Shrimp Basket. It's simple and I love that. I had the Lobster roll (OMG only $13?!?!) and my mom had the Fish Sandwich (hogfish?!?! in heaven). We had some tamarind tea and the key lime lemonade, too. Y'all. The food was AMAZING. My lobster roll was fresh, light, and in a perfect buttery roll. Fries a plenty and probably the best cole slaw (I'm not usually a fan, but this was light and yummy). Also, sign me up for tamarind tea, too. So good. My mom's fish sandwich was lightly battered and the key lime mustard was the perfect hint of sweet/savory. Her Key Lime tea was amazing, too! And to top it off, we shared the Key Lime Pie. Pescado was just as described. Best fried shrimp I've ever eaten! (I usually stay away from fried shrimp because it all tastes the same- like the batter.)
