Fried Fish Tacos

Good fish food truck with a lot of different options. The fried fish tacos were great, ask for the spicy chipotle sauce on the side. The French fries were good too. Location is just a gas station parking lot but grabbing to go is the move. Don't let the look and location of this place deter you, this is a must try.

Blackened fish bowl !

Wow. I was just passing by saw this cute food truck next to a Chevron gasoline station. Who knew ‍ the food is delicious. Ordered the blackened fish bowl. Highly recommend!!!

Best ceviche I've had so far in Key West Made to order, takes about 25/30 minutes- worth the wait!

Came here on a whip after a good beach day with family. Wanted some seafood and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the shrimp sandwiches and was able to get them to make some shrimp ceviche. The food portions were on point as the sandwich was BIG, and it had a hefty amount of shrimp on it which I LOVE. The ceviche was also a plate full which was great. The staff was very nice and attentive. The only thing I would say is prepare to WAIT. They take a long time making it probably because most of it is made to order. Would recommend to other and would recommend to call before hand if you want to beat the wait.

Found in the parking lot of a gas station. A cute find! I was hoping to find a lobster roll here because of past reviews. They didn't have it so I got fish wraps instead.

Stopped by for lunch on the hunt for some good seafood and was very happy with what I found. Ordered the fish sandwich with blackened mahi mahi and key lime aioli. The fish was perfectly cooked, moist, flavorful, and fresh tasting. The key lime aioli had a brighter flavor than a typical aioli and was a nice compliment to the fish without overpowering it. Lettuce and tomato were included on the sandwich and French fries come on the side sprinkled with seasoning. I would gladly return for more delicious fresh seafood like the fish tacos or grilled shrimp tacos.

Had to go back for a second visit. The fried fish burrito was great and reasonable priced.

I always go to B. O.'s Fishwagon. We found this little food truck right by the house! Fish sandwich was pretty tastey ! Highly recommended if you are on this side of the island!

Let me start by saying that this place is phenomenal. Right away we were greeted by a woman that took our order that was as friendly as could be. We were then introduced to Justin the owner and chef who started chatting it up with us as he cooked our food. He asked where we were from (Wisconsin) and why we were in town. My wife and I had the shrimp basket and lobster roll. Both were great. Lots of lobster in the roll and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. As we were eating Justin brought over two free shirts which I though was a nice gesture.

Ok, mushy tacos. I did eat them 5 minutes after getting them but they were very runny.

We got one order of the Cayo fish tacos to share. Each order comes with two tacos. We chose a bench in the shade on the patio where some chickens were wandering around picking up bits of food dropped by the patrons. It was fun to watch them run in a group when one spotted something had fallen. Our tacos were ready quickly and after the first bite we immediately regretted not getting a table because they are a bit messy with all the delicious toppings. Oh well! I persevered and used a napkin to soak up the juice and the chickens took care of of the rest. I will never miss an opportunity to visit Garbo's when in Key West.

While it was enjoyable, nothing really stood out as extraordinary or memorable. The menu had a good variety, and the service was friendly enough, making it a comfortable place to stop for a casual meal. The atmosphere was straightforward and unpretentious, which made it easy to enjoy a quick bite without any fuss. Portions were reasonable, and prices were fair for the quality of food. Overall, it is a dependable spot for a casual meal when you are nearby, even if it does not leave a lasting impression. It is worth visiting if you are in the area and looking for something simple and satisfying.

We sat at the outdoor bar. Distinct Caribbean vibe located in the historic Bahama Village. Daria brought us drinks & menus. Lots of breakfast & lunch choices here. Shrimp & Grits - Key West Shrimp Sautéed in White Wine. Butter and Scallions over Grits and White Cheddar w/ fresh fruit ($19) & Andy's Grilled Sharp Cheddar Cheese & Tomato Sandwich w/ potatoes ($13) - again both were excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere on a somewhat busy lunch time. There is also a gift shop featuring their baked desserts and the usual tourist souveniers & clothing. Thank you again to Daria for excellent service & to Andy and his kitchen staff. p.s. metered street parking is limited in ths busy area. Reservations highly recommened for dinner 5-10pm daily. Both Husband and I ordered the special omelette, with lobster, bacon, and tomato. The dish was rich and delicious, with an entire lobster tail and plenty of bacon. To top it off, the omelette was accompanied by a slice of banana bread. We were not impressed by the key lime pie. Although the pie looks impressive, topped by a huge mound of meringue, it tasted a bit stale. Its consistency was heavy, and the meringue flavorless. Don't let the pie, however, stop you from going to Blue Heaven. The brunch is great service is friendly, and you can't beat the atmosphere, eating outdoors with the chickens and artwork. Tip: arrive early to avoid a long wait.
