My new favorite Mexican Restaurant! Ordered the chicken flautas and they were the best I've had in years. Rice and beans were flavorful and tasted great. Chips and salsa were on point. Unfortunately, service was not so great. We seemed to be forgotten after our plates were brought out. Never got offered water refills, we had to stop another server for more chips and other things we needed through out the visit which ruined the vibe. Parking was another issue. There's not any actual parking spots other than the side of the building.

Everything was good a little above par but not out of this world. Definitely would order the tostadas again!

Very good. I will be back. Their beans are the best. Parking is not great but the food is.

It's impressive a sandwich this simple is so good Key lime pie: I haven't tried it anywhere else and not need to. This is the best. The meringue is sky high and the crust is thin and buttery. The dessert selection was enticing, so I went with the pre-selected dessert trio which had a mini raspberry pistachio tart (raspberries & strawberries, pistachio custard, toasted pistachios--I thought it was just okay. I LOVE pistachio and raspberry so I was a little disappointed because it tasted eggy), a mini key lime pie (it was good but the meringue was a bit eggy), and a basque cheesecake slice (caramelized custard cheesecake, fresh berries, vanilla bean whip--I'm not even a big cheesecake person but this was DELICIOUS! So creamy and the whipped cream and berries were perfect). I'll definitely be coming back to try the food and more beer, but I likely won't order dessert again unless it's the cheesecake.

Food was also wonderful. The key lime pie lived up to everything I heard about it! If there's a wait, there's a bar right across the street you can wait at. The bar is cash only, just a heads-up. Though they ran out of pie - we were finishing up our meal just in time when the new round of pies were ready and she checked back in with us if we still wanted! Overall the pie - very tangyyyyy, not a big meringue person but tbh think it didn't add anything to the pie lol in terms of flavor ,

I originally went in planning to try the chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick, but Diego, the cashier, suggested I start with a traditional slice since I was a newbie. I appreciated that recommendation! For context, I'm not a big key lime pie person. I love key lime flavored things like cookies and candy, but the pie itself has never really been my favorite. But again... when in Key West, you know the rest, lol! I gave it a try, and honestly, I was surprised. It was actually good. Probably the best key lime pie I've had. It tasted very different from the ones I've tried in Dade and Broward County. Its ike they used real key lime, which made a noticeable difference. The crust was my favorite part. It was perfectly crunchy and tasted homemade, which paired so well with the filling. Even the whipped cream on top was delicious. I will say, if I were a true key lime pie lover, I'd probably be obsessed, if that makes sense, lol. Overall, great experience. Diego was friendly and helpful, the place was clean and adorable, and they had a nice variety of treats. I'd definitely come back. Next time, I've got my eye on a key lime cookie! Btw. There's a 3% charge if you use a credit card.

The service was quick and there was some seating outside with some sand so even though it is a few blocks inland there was still a relaxed, beach feel to the place. The mini donuts did get a little soggy from the toppings so I would maybe eat a little faster than I did (though I didn't take an unreasonable amount of time) or go for the ice cream. I think Rooster Treats is a fun change of pace from the more traditional storefronts lining Duval Street. Instead of a typical shop, it operates out of a permanent trailer. You order from a raised deck platform, then head down to enjoy your treat at one of the tables set up in a makeshift sandy beach area. The whole setup works surprisingly well. It gives you that relaxed, toes-in-the-sand feeling, almost like you're unwinding right by the water. It has a great vibe. We're not huge fans of soft serve, mainly because the flavors and textures can feel limited. Rooster Treats makes up for that with the generous amount of toppings you can add. I ordered the Chocolate Paradise, which came with chocolate drizzle, sprinkles, and Oreo crumbs. It was delicious, and the portion size was very good. Glad we checked it out before heading home.
