You cannot ask for a better, more professional landscaper. Alvaro did the work on schedule, within budget and meticulously. Thank you Alvaro!? read more

Our front and side yard were getting out of hand. Found Alvaro on Yelp and decided to give his company a try. I messaged him and he called me back right away. Was able to give me a quote after sending him photos. He worked around my schedule. I must say, him and his team did a great job! Would definitely hire him again. read more

I called several companies to remove several plants and trees in my front yard, replace existing drip line that was shot, add plants and refresh the mulch. Fresh Edge's pricing is definitely competitive. Not only that, their work is top notch! Just to give you an idea of their workmanship, they were waiting for me to bring them more mulch since we agreed that I'd get it, they pulled out their lawnmower and edger and cut my grass. He said he wanted to make sure everything looked good. Very happy with their work product and will certainly be calling them back to clean up my backyard. read more

Alvaro came out to give an estimate. He was upfront and honest about the work I would need. I always appreciate integrity in a business. They came out cleaned up and I was pleased with the work and price. Will work with them again. read more

Alvaro has done a great job so far on our overgrown and sloped half acre yard at our new home! We had him quote several jobs around the home, and everything was very reasonable. He came on time with his crew, worked extra hard on our very steep yard, and cleaned everything up nicely, even adding a few extra touches we didn't expect. We are looking forward to working with him going forward as we get our overgrown mess of a yard tamed and ready for a big garden and fruit trees, and a nice new chicken coop! Thank you Alvaro and crew! read more

Affordable pricing. Very responsive and did a great job on my yard cleanup. Will definitely hire again the next time I need work

5-stars for Alvaro! Professional (in communication, punctuality, and services rendered!), attentive to detail, and willing to work with you on your yard-scaping goals. Every time he leaves, the yard looks better than the week prior! Not only is the lawn freshly mowed, edged, and neatly trimmed around obstacles (trees and boulders), but he looks for other yard maintenance tasks like trimming overgrown hedges, weeding, turning the planter bed soil, and clearing fallen branches from the various trees we have in the yard. So much more than your typical "mow and blow." read more

Alvaro is amazing and extremely knowledgeable in gardening. His team is fast and efficient but extremely friendly, patient, respectful and trustworthy. They are very good at what they do, they make your garden look amazing and go the extra mile for you. I highly recommend this company. read more

Fresh Edge was very responsive. They gave a fair quote and worked hard to accomplish the work that I needed. I highly recommend them.

Alvaro and his crew really did a great job all around our yard. Very quick to respond and produce a quote. Showed up on time and cleaned up everything once they were done. He and his team transformed our yard into something beautiful and I cannot believe how quickly they were able to do all the work and clean up. I can't recommend Fresh Edge highly enough. read more

Excellent service and routine maintenance. Also did an excellent job laying mulch. Highly recommend!

Very happy with the work that Alvaro did for the first round of things we needed done. The small front yard had several dead patches of grass and we wanted to dethatch it, aerate it, and re-seed it. As part of the larger second round, we want more landscaping done outside of the grass renewal itself. Contacted a few companies that could do all of that + the 2nd round of landscaping and we were getting very large estimates of several thousand dollars. And then just to do the grass it would be roughly $1k. Alvaro was able to provide an estimate for much cheaper that was very reasonable, but he said he didn't have a machine to do the dethatching part. So I went and bought a metal dethatching rake from Ace hardware for $35 and raked it out myself for about 30 minutes each morning before work. Spent maybe 4 hours total as there was a lot. (Of course, I saved several hundred dollars by doing this myself manually and I understand that not everyone has the time for that or is willing to do it.) He then came in, aerated the lawn and re-seeded it. Just shy of 3 weeks later, I can see the new grass sprouting. I'm going to contact him soon for the 2nd round of bigger landscaping that we need, and I'm going to contact his brother who can do the regular mowing service on our lawn. Overall a great experience and would recommend him! read more

Alvaro messaged me right away when I inquired about the work I needed done. His communication was great when he was unable to make our original agreed upon time. He and his employee were fast, clean, and honest about the work that needed to be done and the price! I try to handle most of the projects around my house on my own, but it's nice to know there are still honest, hard working people out there for the jobs I cannot do myself! read more

Alvaro and his team were great. We're very happy with the work they did on our yard. Highly recommend Fresh Edge. They gave us the best quote, stuck to that price, and did excellent work. read more

Fantastic service, unbelievable work ethic and very reliable. So good that my neighbor ended up hiring him also.

Friendly service. Work was done quickly and efficiently. End result was a great looking backyard that we enjoy.

These guys did an excellent job making me happy with my yard. I would definitely recommend.

I found Alvaro on the Neighborhood App and instantly enjoyed his kindness and quick responses. My front yard and backyard was completely filled with fox tails and weeds that covered our beautiful landscaping we managed the following year. my husband and I didn't think we needed a landscaper until this past winter when the weeds were just too hard to manage especially after having our first baby. Alvaro came quickly to do an estimate, gave us a fair price and started the following weekend before our home was getting appraised. Our front and backyard had a complete transformation and my husband and I were more then sanctified with his work. We decided to continue maintenance with him and we are always happy to look out our window to the backyard or front yard and enjoy the view. He managed to work around our schedule so we could lock up the dogs for him to get into the backyard and is always on time and respectful! read more

After years of doing our own yard, my husband finally broke down and hired a lawn service company. This is BIG considering he is very particular about how the lawn is cut. We contacted several contractors in the area. One was completely ridiculous in terms of what they wanted to charge, another we played telephone tag to the point of, ok it's been 2 weeks since we spoke last, exactly how long does it take to provide a quote? ‍ And yet another guy that didn't bother to call back at all. How you you expect to run a business if you can't respond in a timely manner or in some cases, not at all? Fresh Edge was responsive, very polite, provided a quote on the same day, and even met with my husband to go over the details that evening. And considering the size of our yard, Fresh Edge was extremely reasonable! The owner is very conscientious about the job they do and every week the yard looks better and better. I understand they provide all services, from tree trimming to landscaping. I think they'll even come out for a one time job if/when you need anything done. We highly recommend Fresh Edge, if you want a reasonably priced, responsible landscaper to help make the yard look great. read more

I really appreciate the quick service that Alvaro Martinez provided in repairing a broken lawn sprinkler line. He called me back the same day and was able to stop by the next morning - on a Saturday no less! He quickly resolved the issue and his charge was fair and reasonable. I chose this company because of the great Yelp ratings and was not disappointed! Alvaro earned my future business - well done! read more

I called Alvaro at the last minute and he was very understanding and was able to fit me in within one day! He came out and did a thorough cleanup of our front yard again! He was very professional and flexible and it was a welcome breath of fresh air! Thanks again Alvaro!! read more

We just had our landscape redone to a contemporary design that required a high level of attention to detail and symmetry. We started with a landscape company that had great reviews and an expensive price tag, but they botched it terribly. Fortunately came across Alvaro. We are very particular about quality and Alvaro did an excellent job. He knows the work, is courteous, punctual, prompt with communication, works with you, all at a very reasonable price. Alvaro delivered 100%. 5 stars. Highly recommend Alvaro. 925 521 4324. read more

I've had experiences with unreliable gardeners in the past, who wouldn't show up or didn't do some of the work requested. Alvaro has been excellent! He shows up the same time every week as scheduled without me needing to reach out and does exactly what we agreed upon. He's very responsive and great at communicating when I've requested specific work. And of course our yard looks better than ever! Lovely fresh cut lines in the lawn, and plants flowering that after years living here I never knew flowered! Highly recommend. read more
