My mother had an ugly growth removed from her pelvis a couple of months ago. After it was biopsied, it came back as poro-carcinoma. Long story short mom's fine, but Dr. Thrash and Dr. Mamalek were a tremendous help. Not to be redundant, Dr.Thrash was as wonderful as these prior 5 ***** reviews are saying. She is very easy to talk to as well as comes up with a skin care plan that is exciting and hopeful for an aging 55 year woman. Her first priority is handling the skin cancer screening however. What really surprised me was she called me herself with the lab results! I also want to be sure to mention how nice but efficient her staff was. They made me feel right at "home"! Candace is a board certified dermatologist. She is super sweet, kind, thorough fair. She take care of patients with many skin aliments and can diagnose and treat your problems. She does my skin checks every year and I feel confidant that my skin is okay since I had a basal cell removed. Fresh Dermatology is wonderful. I went in this summer for what I thought would be a routine skin examine. A spot was biopsied and turns out it was melanoma. The P.A Maria called me to discuss my results in great detail. She called me after hours on her free time to answer all of my questions and helped me navigate the situation. She even called to check on me after I had surgery to have the melanoma removed. She is professional, comforting and genuine and I feel so comfortable with her and the office staff. read more

I was so happy when I heard that Dr. Thrash was moving her practice to Lakeway. I have been a patient of Dr. Thrash since I moved to Texas in 2011. She is so caring and experienced and always makes me feel comfortable no matter what kind of embarrassing skin problem I might have. She also does a wonderful job with Botox, not that I use it........ The office is clean and beautiful and definitely has a "fresh" feel and I love the skincare products they promote. I have been going to see April for facials for 8 years. She just moved to work at Fresh Dermatology recently and is their resident Esthetician. When I first visited April I had a horrible complexion and problems with acne. My skin has improved so much and I can actually go without base makeup now if I choose. She has taken great care of my complexion while recommending treatments that are targeted to my skin type. I went in with my daughter because she wanted a mole removed on her face (lower cheek) I told her I would get a small one of mine removed to support her. They refused to remove the one on my daughter's face because the risk of scaring. She's 19 and she said she'd rather have the small scar than the large mole. They still refused....AND charged her $100 for the visit...where they did nothing! I had mine removed and unbeknownst to me, and without me asking they sent it off to the lab, where they charged me $250! There was zero question of this being anything cancerous. I will not be returning to this very expensive place that didn't even help us. Very disappointing. read more

After reading such wonderful reviews, I went in for my annual skin check. I only waited in the waiting area long enough to fill out a few short forms, and then I saw Doctor Thrash right away. She and her staff are so friendly and professional. I had a couple problem areas frozen off right on the spot for only $25! Dr. Thrash spent a lot of time with me answering all my questions and giving me information about some future procedures that I want to have done. It was a 100% positive experience.
