When he gave me my order there were only three wings. He corrected it and gave me 5. The wings and fries gave me it was time to change the grease vibes but the fries were hot and seasoned well. The wings were okay.... I could barely taste the lemon pepper. Might give them another shot on another day

The location is small and unassuming with terrible parking situation. (Tip: park far away and walk here). At lunch time, it was busy with lots of people waiting for their food with one person at the register. He was nice and suggested I try the Mexican street corn as my side. So I did! Then I chose to get the Cleveland hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw to go. After waiting about 15 minutes, I got my lunch, hot and ready. The chicken sandwich is actually about four thin breaded chicken tenders covered in a slightly hot sauce. I think a 3/10 rating instead of its labeled 7/10 rating would fit it better. The breading was good and covered nice, fresh chicken meat. I appreciated the attempt at topping with coleslaw although I wish there was more. The bun was better quality than anything at a fast food place. The street corn was nice and I enjoyed the spices on it. I wish there was less sauce as the corn was drenched in a sauce that didn't really add any flavor to it. Just empty calories. Overall, give this place a shot! The price is decent, although not incredible but there is something special here.

I tried one of the Egyptian dishes - kushery ($18) - and it was delicious! If you are vegetarian…read moreand/or have vegetarian friends, I highly recommend this dish. Even as a regular eater of meat, I found this dish so satisfying and filling. In case you don't know, kushery is a whole load of carbs; the dish has rice, macaroni, lentils, a slightly spicy tomato sauce, garlic vinegar, chickpeas, and crispy fried onions. The whole mixture altogether was so tasty, and I would totally get this again. I also ordered the hibiscus punch ($6), which was refreshing and not too sweet. And even though I already had a bunch of carbs with the kushery, I got the Egyptian bread pudding ($8), which was very different from the bread pudding I typically see at restaurants around here. It consisted of toasted croissant pieces that were soaked in a creamy sweet milk; the dessert also came with a bunch of nuts, raisins, and whipped cream. It wasn't as rich or sweet as other kinds of bread pudding I've had, but it was still a tasty dessert. The service was a little slow, so I wouldn't suggest dining in here if you need to get a quick meal. But the food was good, and the staff was friendly, so if you have time for a relaxed meal, give the restaurant a try. Note - there were some slight price discrepancies between the menu and final receipt for my drink and dessert, but I know prices are really volatile in these crazy times, and the price discrepancies were small.

They serve $10-$12 dollar drinks (I'm under 21, couldn't review those) and have karaoke nights. The server told us that they play different R&B stations on Pandora as the music. The food was AMAZING! Always is. For appetizers, we ordered the shrimp egg roll and hushpuppies. The shrimp egg roll was about $6 for two of them, and comes with a nice sauce like the one typically served with coconut/butterfly shrimp. I hate egg rolls, but these changed my mind. The hushpuppies were super delicious, perfect consistency. For those unfamiliar, they taste like a cross between cornbread and pancakes. Served with a sauce reminiscent of thousand island dressing. Now, to the best part. The seafood boil!! They offer a variety of combos, but I decided to customize my bag. As a start, it comes with two half-cobs of corn and two potatoes. I ordered a lobster tail ($20), a half pound of Dungeness Crab ($20), head off shrimp ($15, deveined but not peeled) and a side of fried rice (typically would be ordered into the boil, $3.50 for 8oz.) I got the Juicy Special seasoning (which is a mix of ALL their other seasonings) and I highly reccomend. I ordered medium heat level, which might catch your mouth on fire if you aren't used to spice. I love medium personally, but my dad thought the mild level was super hot. Depends on the person. The food was cooked perfectly, and the sauce really solidifies the boil. We ordered strawberry cheesecake to go, for my mom back home who doesn't like seafood. She unfortunately didn't like it, she said the cheesecake texture was unusual and the strawberry syrup wasn't her favorite. I didn't get the chance to try it. In full, the bill was around $145. This includes the tip, egg rolls, hushpuppies, two full seafood boils with a variety of toppings, two soft drinks, and the cheesecake. We always leave with plenty of leftovers and feast on them throughout the following week, so it's honestly more than worth it. Would highly reccomend this spot. Will be coming back plenty of times in the future.

I was immediately greeted by a cheerful lady whom I told I was here to kill time waiting to pick my gf up from the airport so I needed some delicious food. She told me about the chicken wings and also recommended the burger as it was a popular item. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and a bacon cheese burger. The cook had to make the burger patties by hand which impressed me. When a burger is made and shaped by hand, you know it's made out of love. The wings and burger came out in small paper containers which didn't bother me. Easy pick up and throw away. The wings were crispy and had a delicious butter warm taste to it. The lemon pepper seasoning was just right. The burger was phenomenal. The aside of the burger and bun was just right. The taste combined with the lettuce tomato and bacon was out of this world. I ordered a craft beer and got a light beer - different color and taste. Servers aren't empowered to correct. Manager says all alcohol sales are final. This is not hard liquor - it's a draft beer. He said - I changed the keg myself so it's correct. Consider maybe the bartender poured from the wrong tap, or maybe the keg is bad. I kinda know what my favorite beer should taste like. Manager doesn't drink so has no idea. Here's the crux - why would I wait 30 mins for a beer and then send it back. How does that benefit me? Not paying for it, not staying and not going back. A good set of customers who tip well lost due to $2 worth of keg beer.

My boyfriend…read moreand I ordered online to pick up and when we arrived there was a pretty pissed off lady at the counter opening each of her little chicken cartons telling them the order was wrong, amount of wings, flavors, she must have sent them back at least five times before the girl in the front got the manager(?) who didn't seem to solve this lady's problem because she grabbed the bag and just left. We get our order, right? We ordered the pick 6 meal for two which is 2 entrees 10 wings. I ordered the lemon pepper boneless, tell me why I got 5? My boyfriend ordered sweet bbq. One box had 5 jerk and the other box had 7 sweet BBQ. In the pick six deal you also get sides. I ordered potato wedges and he ordered fries. But seriously, How the fuck hard is it to count? Moreover- the fact there was maybe like 8 dudes at the bar, the bartender seemed attentive but she was the only one who seemed alert. There were a bunch of people sitting in the booth right at the front door of the empty restaraunt, assuming they were just waiting to place take out orders... One of the employees was sitting in the lobby on her phone with her shift meal, just texting. Anyway we didn't check the order til we got home. Big mistake- HUGE mistake because everything is covered in one of the ranch sauces and my bf didn't even get his fries, got some partially cooked potato wedges though. Somehow the order was cold. I'd like to make an episode of fear factor where employees are forced to eat the gross shit they send people away with cause it's pretty much inedible aside from the 20 oz sodas we got with the meal. I actually used to work here back when they first opened and it was pretty strict. Anyway, I would rather drink Shreks Toilet water than eat this trash. Dunno what it is about people getting jobs but not putting any effort in. Honestly set the joint on fire and start over, or maybe hire people who actually give a shit about what they're selling and representing cause I bet you they get their personal orders correct and edible every time. B DUBS on Cedar is probably a money laundering front. Wild.
