This has become our favorite local restaurant for seafood and more. They work hard and fast to prepare and serve delicious traditional fried or baked seafood, steaks, burgers, pasta, steamers, lobsters and more. Their menu is extensive and reasonably priced. The servers are friendly and attentive. Last evening the 4 of us dined on chowder (red and white) Fish and Chips, New England Rueben Sandwich with Onion Rings, a generous lobster roll, and I enjoyed a combo plate of whole belly clams and sea scallops. All served with choice of potato and vegetable. While the seating area is on the smaller side they turn tables quickly so there is rarely a wait. Obviously their core business is as fresh a seafood and meat market but they also have a nice selection of beer and wine, sweets, salads etc. If you're looking to enjoy seafood without the long drive to the cape or north to Maine, Check out Fresh Catch North Attleboro, just not on Friday night because that's our place on Fridays lol. read more

Not a bad quick stop for lunch! This is really a seafood store & I can't speak to buying meat to take home which may be their biggest sell. However, it's not a bad stop for a quick lunch. The fresh lobster was cheap & cooked well. The fried clams were nothing special but still hit the spot. The price really made this worth it though as we paid just $35 total for both. What did the fresh catch for lunch today in Mansfield cold chowder the fries you could throw against the wall they would probably crack. They look like potato sticks clams cold did not want to complain because I go there all the time but not happy with anything. I don't understand how they can serve that kind of food and not even look at it and the cooks could give those fries to a guest and think it's OK knowing that they've been sitting there for a half hour in the Fri Later Don't mind paying for anything but today was not an exceptional day. Went here for lunch today. Great as always. The staff really impresses me every time I go here. They are so genuinely nice! What a great bunch! We both had the Clam Chowder, it is very good. I had the fried haddock and scallops, the haddock tastes so fresh and the scallops are soooo sweet. My husband had the steamers and the lobster roll. He said the steamers are some of the best he has had and loved the lobster roll. We brought clam chowder home for my mother with the clam cakes, and she loved them. Whenever we are in Attleboro we stop by and have a wonderful lunch. Again I must commend the staff, Thank-you for your hard work and being so nice to the public! We had a wonderful day with you! Quality has become worse with every passing year it's unfortunate that the quality hasn't been maintained

Once again I am forced to write a negative review for this place. After the last bad experience (see previous review), I wasn't sure if I'd try there again but I did. This time I was just buying some fish to take home and cook myself. How bad could it be? I paid over $10/lb for their "stuffed Sole". I bought three pieces. I cooked them and when they were finished cooking I could see something was wrong. They were literally falling apart into a ball of mush. I scooped each onto plates and when I cut into one, I realized WHY they turned into balls of mush. There was probably a 90%/10% ratio of stuffing to fish. Each had MAYBE three forkfuls TOTAL of fish, and the rest was weird tasting stuffing. Instead of stuffed sole, they should have just called them stuffing balls. I guess it is their way of gaining extra profits since there is no way STUFFING should cast $10+/lb. read more

Our server was very good. we had fried clams, clam cakes, onion rings and clam chowder everything was very good, bu the chowder was poor. There was no stock in it, and it had a weird taste. Went to the Fresh Catch on a Friday night and tried their dine-in cafe. It turned out to be a pleasant little meal. The fresh fish and butcher section looked pretty good too. I ordered the exotic dish called fish and chips. The fish was huge, fresh, and tasty. Maybe a touch greasy and heavy on the batter. The chips were ok but just typical frozen french fries. Enjoyed a business dinner here, Monday night, and was delighted as were my two colleagues at the quality of the food, the prices and the service. We started with oysters that were a buck each and super delicious. I had twin lobsters which were superb and they were 1995 which was a super price in my opinion. I've shopped here for fresh seafood many, many times. This was my first time trying take-out. The online ordering was a breeze and even allowed me to complete my order, with payment, while the store was not open. I set the date and time for pick-up and was immediately sent a confirmation eMail. I ordered the Fish Ruben, which was an enormous sandwich that forced me to use a fork, in the end. The fried fish was so big that it hung off the bun in two directions. It came with coleslaw and Russian dressing. I added lettuce, tomato and a red onion slice, as well as a side of mayo in case it needed it. It did not. They also included a side of tartar sauce, which was nice with the part of the fish that I ate separately. The bed of fries was so large that I barely made it thru half of them. My dad chose a Lobster Roll, which was also a huge sandwich, served in a toasted roll. He had the same mound of fries, which, by the way, were delicious. My grandson had the Kids portion Chicken Fingers and - you guessed it - fries. It really did not resemble a kids' meal at all and was comparable to ours. He happily took home two tenders and a big pile of fries, which he scored from his Nana and great grandfather. It sure wasn't the healthiest lunch, but you've gotta indulge once in a while. Truly a disappointing dinner tonight. My husband and I got the fried whole belly clam dinner. The clams were chewy and inedible. A huge disappointment. My mother in law, visiting from the west, wanted a lobster roll. What arrived was mystery meat! It was chewed up little pieces that resembled pink tuna fish. Who knows what was in that. It didn't even look like lobster nor did it taste like lobster. My daughter had the pan seared salmon and that was very good so it was not a total waste of over $100. This is a no frills place to either dine in or take out some tasty freshly cooked seafood. Obviously I had the scallop roll which came with fries and slaw. The scallops were fresh and really well cooked. My company had the haddock with breadcrumb, I neglected to take a picture and he said it was really moist and it was a large serving. I've been a vegetarian for a few weeks now, but if I ever go back to eating meat/seafood, Fresh Catch would be one of my first stops. The scallops are fresh, big, and dynamite when breaded and fried - and the same goes for haddock, if you want to make your own fish and chips. The crab cakes and scallop cakes are winners, too. We have been buying seafood and meat from the North Attleboro location for years. Great whole tenderloins, hand cut filet mignon for the grill, shrimp for holidays, baked stuffed shrimp, lobster cakes, crab cakes and bacon wrapped scallops. All phenomenal. Their potato salad is fantastic too, and their blue cheese stuffed olives for holiday martinis. So grateful to have them in our town. Love to support local business, too! read more

Had to try this place was a little sceptical and for good reason. When you walk in it's a seat yourself and place your order at the counter, no waitstaff. Your food is cooked, or over cooked depending how you look at it. Portions are decent, wife had baked stuffed shrimp which was ok, I had fried seafood platter which was loaded with clam strips, over cooked, too much breading. I am very upset this is the second time I have purchased scallops at the Farmer's Market in Attleboro, MA and they do not taste like anything and I know what scallops are suppose to taste like because I have purchased them right off the boat. They smell fresh but there is something wrong with them and they do not caramelize in the pan. They are probably loaded with water. If you are craving seafood this is the place to go. They have all types. I usually stop by and pick up little necks, shrimp and haddock. One item that is great here is the stuffed clams, I usually buy the hot clams. They also make their own spicy tomato juice with little pieces of clams, Very tasty. No restaurant, buy and cook at home. Large selection of different size lobsters. If you don't want to make a mess at home you can buy lobster meat. I've had a halfway decent fried fish sandwich from this place albeit way overpriced for what it was. I had a mid-winter hankering for some clam chowder so I decided to buy a frozen quart there. Big mistake. This was milk chowder with a hint of clams and potatoes. The few pieces of clams that were in there were so chewy that they may have been relics from the Triassic period. Pretty sorry stuff from a New England seafood store. I would drive a bit further South on Route 1 and pick up some Legal Seafood's chowder at BJ's or even some Captain Parker's at Market Basket. read more
