One of the best new pizza spots around, especially being located so close to me! Frenzie specializes in sourdough pizza making the crust more airy, crispy, and bubbly.
The husband and I came by as walk-ins on a weeknight and there was a 30 minute wait, but we actually got seated earlier than that. The minute you walk into here, you can smell the deliciousness of the pizza already. We ordered a Classic with Pepperoni ($27) and Spicy Vodka ($26). Both were amazing with the savory pepperoni to the cheesy vodka sauce. We also added a side of hot honey for $3, which isn't really necessary when they also have a chili oil on the table for you. We had leftovers, which made me really happy to enjoy the next day as I was still thinking about these pies.
Finally, we had to end the meal with a Tiramisu ($14). It came in a metal globet and topped with sphere crunchies. The ladyfingers aren't fully soaked into espresso, so not the strongest coffee flavor. Gotta come back and try the other pizza flavors too as they have some innovative varieties. I'm calling it first --one of the best pizza in NYC. read more
