She goes above and beyond to provide the highest quality of customer service and for that reason I will continue to use Freeway for my auto insurance needs. I purchased my insurance plan through Freeway in 2014 and to be honest my initial experience with another agent was terrible. I was overcharged and there were several major problems with my plan. When I called back to resolve the issue I was given the run around, but eventually connected to Ashely --THANK GOODNESS-- because she went the extra mile to help fix all the problems. Since then, she has been my go-to person at Freeway. I've spoken with many agents over the years and NONE of them has given me the kind of quality customer service Ashley has. they're liars... tell me why I cancelled my policy and hey charged my debit card without me even being there 200$ seriously??!! How in the hell did they get my card information I had to file a fraudulent claim the first time for the 366.00 dollars and now I have to do it again? If I could put 0 stars I would. These people are a bunch of irresponsible, lying, theives. When I signed up I told them I needed a form sent to the dmv so my license wouldn't be suspended and they said it was sent. It was never sent and my license got suspended. I spent 60 dollars getting my license back and they said they would send me a refund check in the mail. I said good because I didn't have an active bank account and needed it as a check. Month later I'm calling asking where my money is and surprise surprise I was lied to once again and they somehow claim they sent the money to my closed bank account and now washing their hands of the matter. Our first time visiting Freeway insurance and we had the best experience, we got a lower quote, a lower down and monthly payment than anyone else we have gone to. Angelica was our broker and I would have to say she was very helpful, friendly and professional. We kept her over an hour later because we got there late and she did not rush us, she was not pushy and she answered all our questions with a smile. We were very pleased with her service ... So today this place tried to charge my sister again for their employees mistake. I also went in today so my policy will not be terminated do to a banking error. I recieved a letter giving me notice that as of 07/18/2017 my policy will be terminated. As I went in and was talking to the guy I was told it was already canceled, today is 07/17/2017. I asked the guy is today not the 17th and the paper says on the 18th it will be canceled. He then gives me my paper and with a big arrogant crooked grin says, "I dont know what you want me to do about it unless you want a new policy". The manger was right next to us and didnt say anything. I am switching insurance as well as my sister and several friends i have recommened to this company before they get swindled as well. I will be reporting this to the better buisness Bureau(bbb) as well as the state commissioner. All potential customers to this fraudulent Insurance Company please behoove my warning. read more

This place is such a lying scam, their corporate office needs to investigate the way they do business. They lied to my father that they needed the car before he could purchase full coverage, the first problem with that is I've never been asked this question, not with Farmers, not with progressive and not with State Farm. The reason we are unable to provide the vehicle is cause the car is a new purchase from the dealership, the dealership requires you to drive out with full coverage, fair enough unfortunately we were unable to get a hold of their customer service so we went into this office instead. They refused to give us the full coverage until we had the car their, but how when the dealer needs the insurance first! All other insurance companies don't need the car at the time this is why you have online quotes! Everyone their seem to be in agreements with this I was so mind F****ed I've never heard of this, thank you for your amazing knowledge and customer service it definitely showed me the way to another insurance company. If you plan on making a BAD investment on car insurance you found the one. Ive had them for two years and switched policies with different insurance companies through them so i can say my experience has not been transparent. In one instance, my insurance policy for the year legitimately ended and i was still charged for not proceeding with the same vendor. I choose to still go through freeway but get a better rate with a different policy, in the end it was not worth it. Basically i had to pay them because one insurance issued policy ended? Never heard of that? Another instance, i got a new car and was charged 540 dollars as part of the down payment said it was first and last months bill (i pay $177 a month) plus all sorts of cancelation fees and what not. But really? Never heard of an insurance place doing that but now i know. I thought they were quality so i didnt question them. Clearly they were just doing what salespeople do and get their money upfront. I will not recommend this place to anyone! read more

I'm very dissapointed in the treatment I received once I became a client at this office. I was purposely ignored by Ozzy which I was told by a local office that I ended up having to step foot into which was a total inconvenience but had no other choice after being given the run around for hours by thinking I was being transferred to my agent but in all actuality I kept being transferred to customer service center where they could not help me with my request and kept rederecting to a licensed agent. No one has time for ring around the rosy games and when I requested a call back... I still have yet to receive that call. Not to mention I was informed by the new broker office that my policy was written unethically and that I was charged a unnecessary broker fee that was added to the cost that I am requested to be credited back to my debit card on file. In addition to that I am requesting that any further debits on my card in regards to this policy further be stopped immediately. It's unfortunate that I thought we had built a great rapport and that my history working with Freeway in the past would supercede how I was treated but when it comes to integrity and upholding an 8 year legacy with a company, I would think standards, company values and the customer service would be of utmost importance not just greed of overcharging w/ extra added fees making $ and throwing away the client like day old garbage and moving on to the next victim... read more

This place is a scam...we were helped by someone named LAURA and everything she was saying was a lie..she was only benefiting her self...She made my sister switch her plan and lied to her just so she can get a cut. She started out saying that my sister had no health insurance at all, but she still did because she was under the same plan as my mom and I. and nothing was wrong with ours...so she took advantage of my sister, started feeding her all these lies and bs and switching her plan..mind you, she did all of this from just calling my sister herself trying to make her money. She called none of us, just her..so we walk in the next day scared thinking something was wrong with our plan. so we went to go and sort ours out..we go in, she says "oh you guys are still covered for your health plan, nothing's wrong with it" Then why the hell did you guys call my sister tell her her shit was ending and she had to do something about it asap and put a down payment??? She asked us"who called her?" We said, "a lady named LAURA", she then says, " I'm LAURA" she denied everything she told my sister on the phone and said "oh no I didn't say anything like that" my sister came with us, she said that was her on the phone because it sounded exactly like her. So now my sister is screwed with a new expensive health plan and has to fix it and go somewhere else..this place is a joke! I would give Jerami Collinns at Freeway Insurance 100 stars for his knowledge and customer service. But if I'm totally honest about Freeway Insurance services, I would give them 1 Star at most. I haven't had the best experience with them in the past but Jerami made up for most of that. In the past, they've been deceitful in quoting and drafting my account for "fees" that were increased and incurred after the fact due to "a glitch in their system". Also, I have noticed that the rates are slightly higher than if you go to the insurance company directly. I wonder why that is. Overall I stayed with them because of Jerami's service. But one more issue with them, and I am SO outta there and NEVER looking back. read more

Whatever you do, do not go to these people! I will say that they got me a good deal on my car insurance to where I am paying $100 less a month, but it is worth the headache I've received dealing with their incompetence? Definitely not! To start off, I went in to get a quote and Nick was pleasant and helpful, but I told him I'd be back next month to switch my insurance over. From that day forward, for the next month, they harassed me with multiple phone calls a day to get me to come in. I almost didn't go back, but saving $100 a month is hard to resist. My bf and I set up our policy, and it was a nightmare after that. We had to bring in additional paperwork, which we did, and they lost it! Paperwork with personal bank info! After that I couldn't get anyone to give me an answer as to what the next step was or even get anyone to call me back. I called multiple times to speak to Jocelyn, "the manager" and she had multiple family emergencies or was always in a meeting. I finally got a hold of her and she was so unprofessional and couldn't care less that they were inconveniencing me because they lost paperwork. To top it off, she never even called me back. I had to call the next day and she avoided my call, again! Some manager, she can't even deal with the people her team is inconveniencing. I wish I could get all my money back and go elsewhere, but now I'm stuck. My recommendation, pay more and go elsewhere. What a nightmare! read more

Bad place to go! Yaritza Sanchez lied to me and charged me before she let me see the contract. Then I refused to sign it because I saw on it (after paying my down payment) that I still had another $215 that they were automatically taking from the bank as a "Split" payment on the deposit. The manager Christian Ortega then told me he would waive the $215 if I would just sign the paperwork. So I had him email me something stating that they would waive the fee. He did that. Then I signed the papers. Now ive been charged another $215 and Christian Ortega denies ever saying he said he would waive the fee. This place is a scam read more

it was a rocky start. i had an agent named Cory who lied to me about my rate. after he got his $265 agent fee i was supose to have $50 a month payments. the had set up auto pay for his fee but never set it up for the monthly payments. there for just yesterday i recieved a call letting me know my car insurance had been canceled jan 25 th and i had been driving around with no insurance for about 2 weeks. then the told me the monthy rate had gone up by $30 cus the insurance company decided i didnt get the good driver discound from a DUI i TOLD them about 8 years ago. when i told him i wanted a refund of the 265 i payed for 1 month of coverage he giggled and said " you dont get a refund" when i asked to talk to his supervisor he hung up on me. when i called back the supervisor was in a meeting but she did call me back. her name i think was vella. she was awsome. she found me new insurance at an even lower rate of $47 a month. She covered the down payment except the price i would have payed anyways for the monthy insurance of $70. she was kind and wanted to make things right. i appriciated her effort. as for Cory i think his snarky attitude and lack of care in my end shoud send him looking for a new carreer. if not fot his boss things would have gone very badly. she was amazing. read more

I was very disappointed when it came down to needing help with my car trouble. I was stuck on the side of the road due to a flat tire. But Gerardo at this freeway location convinced me to include "towing and labor" as an additional service with additional charge so I figured okay I'll just call my insurance but when I called them they kept transferring me to "customer service" and when I mentioned my "towing and labor" service they literally did not know what I was talking about. When I asked to speak to Gerardo he cut me off mid-sentence and transferred me over to someone else. I am very disappointed in this insurance services and I don't feel safe while driving my car knowing that I can't rely on my car insurance. Unfortunately I paid $309 to start my insurance and can't afford to switch my insurance carrier just yet!! The worst thing is when I spoke to the supervisor at this location and told her that I was gonna cancel due to the service she was totally okay with it and did not even apologize. I originally worked with 2 other brokers there. The 2nd one couldn't get my vehicle coverage correct and I was going in circles with my lean holder trying to get everything's right. It was a headache and a huge inconvenience. I was ready to cancel my coverage and go to a difference company. In November I had to go and update my insurance information and I prepared myself to deal with my broker that couldnt get anything right. Fortunately she was busy and Ozzy was the only one that could help me. Not only did he help update my information, but he got me the same coverage, but at a cheaper price. I had to go back again recently because of an issue with my insurance and lean holder and Ozzy was able to clarify with customer service and myself on the phone to make sure we had a better understanding. I've had to deal with 3 brokers there, including the Supervisor. Only Ozzy and the Supervisor were able to get anything straight and settled. So if you need insurance go to Ozzy and avoid the hassle, headaches, and run around. read more

I signed up with Chris Rodriquez and I thought he helped me with the perfect rate I was looking for and I paid what I agreed too for the initial start payment. Then I find out the truth of this company! A week later Freeway Insurance took an additional payment out of my bank account that I did not authorize. I called almost everyday to get this charge reversed and what happened was this company falsely wrote my name on a contract agreement that I did not sign my name on and said that I agreed to this additional payment, which I swear I did not agree too. It is possible my insurance rate was too good to be true and Freeway wanted to fix this great rate to the rate I probably only qualified for but why take from customers and commit fraud? I do not recommend this company because they can change documents by adding your signature and charge your card and avoid your calls. WARNING!!! DO NOT PURCHACE INSURANCE HERE!!!! The experience with this insurance company makes one question the owner of this company, by hiring getto mentality level employees!!! The city of Norwalk has enough poverty stricken people, with problems barely surviving, and must not allow this type of business to prosper at the expense of law abiding citizens. I have witnessed a loved one experience the horrors of these deceitful vultures who continue to take advantage of his vulnerability. I have stepped in to monitor the problem with this so called "affordable insurance company". So far, I have witnessed, he has had to renew his policy three times and pay additional fees in desperation to keep insurance on his car. When we first walked in there, everyone was so friendly and quoted awesome prices and expressed how much they are going to take care of us, until we needed help in paying on time because of misquoted due dates and premiums. He had twice, been given amazing quotes and spoken due dates, that did not coincide with the billing information and policy that was later sent to him. Pretty clever racket, you got going there. Therefore, he has spent countless energy having to physically go in to their office and clear up discrepancies, while they have closed his policies on him without notice, forcing him to call with no human available to speak to or go online with no customer service available to pay his bill because they closed the policy again. His recent experience walking in there, they were completely rude to him, making him feel that he was an annoyance because he had not yet received the promised packet of information on his new policy they made him purchase. A shout out to the man and short haired female who unprofessionally displayed true colors of the environment, from which they come from, you obviously don't know any better, you just work for a pay check....right? I'm curious, what did you get out of that experience, was if fun for you, do you get off laughing at the expense of those you mislead? As he was told to pay online (to avoid the $10.00 charge they make you pay if you bother them in person) and was handed his packet of the policy, 18 pages later, not one page had the website available for him to make the payment online and as he's walking out, once again he was told a different due date earlier than the due date I personally witnessed during the policy purchase. It is disturbing to watch how these crooked low lives do business, they misquote you on your premium, bill you higher later, and make it impossible to keep your plan current by misquoting you your due dates. I am very disgusted with the "getto" mentality customer service they offer and I am committed to quickly advocating the process of getting another insurance company for him, so as to not have a lapse in coverage. It will be an exhilarating experience watching these employees exposed for their robbery tactics, to those law abiding citizens who desperately are just trying to keep affordable auto insurance on their car. My advise is to get out of their policy quickly, and seek legal counsel against these monsters, if you have had a similar experience. This company in its entirety seems to be on the average, decent and offers fair rates. But this office in particular is the epitome of unprofessional and I am brought to tears out of sheer frustration as I type this review. I cancelled my AAA policy because Stephanie at this branch was so helpful and gave me, what I thought was such a great rate. $220 down plus some fees and $158 per month with is being discounted a few bucks for having it automatically debited. They work late hours and I actually finished the paperwork on my laptop from bed at 10 pm or so because Stephanie seemed so adamant. I was so pleased with the rates and customer service, I had my boyfriend sign up with her as well. We had originally gone to a freeway office near me and explained to him, I'd rather call Stephanie since she was so helpful. So we called her from the car dealership when purchasing my boyfriends car. She quoted him $500 deposit, which we explained we were not willing to do. So she came back with an offer for $300. Now, the agent at the office we went to previously told us it would be $0 money down and the same monthly payment. Confused by this, we asked her and she stated he was probably misinformed. We signed up on the policy out of desperation because we could not drive the car off the lot without insurance. This is where it gets "fun". My boyfriend and I both have loans through our credit unions. These loans require us to list them as lien holders on our insurance. Something very easy an agent would be able to do, or so we were told by Stephanie previously. So my boyfriend and I both try to contact Stephanie and no response. we're told she's out to lunch. Then we're told she's on a call. We're transferred to hold then for 20 minutes and the we're hung up on. I then speak to someone that states they are a supervisor and he now tells me that Stephanie is not able to change the lien holder at all, that's something the customer service line does. They close at 5, and by this point it's already passed. So we call the next day....20 callers ahead of us. So I email Stephanie multiple times, no response. UNTIL, I tell a little white lie and say I have someone else that would like to potentially sign up on a new policy....ring ring ring! Of course she calls me. States that she absolutely can change the lien holders on my boyfriends policy and on my policy's, but the servers are down. We exchange a few emails here and there regarding the fact that email is the best way to reach her etc...After that, no contact. Zero. No follow through. I emailed countless times. Called countless times. At this point, i go back to a freeway office branch and they are able to give me the direct info for western general, my actual insurance company so I can call them directly to handle the lien holder situation. A few days later, I see a charge on my bank account of $200 from freeway insurance. I call the office and finally get a hold of a supervisor that seems helpful. Vela. She apologized for the lack of response from her staff and states that she will be speaking to Stephanie. At this point I'm not understanding why I have been charged a total of over $430? Vela does not give me a clear answer as to why, but indicates it may be because Stephanie split my deposit into two payments. I did read my contract and ibdid in fact sign it and it states non refundable. But to be clear, this was NOT explained correctly to me. I completely am willing to take responsibility for my actions in trusting an agent that was not 100% truthful and precise with her explanation. I explain to vela I would be more than happy to pay fees and a prorated amount for the days I've been insured which was just shy of 3 weeks, but I'd like to cancel. But before i cancel, I'd like to know what my refund amount would be. Although a contract was signed, I was avoided and not treated how a customer should be treated. I never received calls when I was promised them.Nothing, little to no help. So, I feel even if it was partial, a refund of my deposit did not sound unreasonable. Vela agreed and said she would be emailing me the info that day (yesterday). I then reviewed an email stating she would not have the numbers until tomorrow. I emailed her early in the afternoon to follow up, and did not receive a response. I called the Norwalk office and Stephanie answers the phone. I ask to speak to vela and was told she was not available but my policy had been cancelled (which I never got verification of via writing or verbal) and it was now a "collections" issue. I ask her wI'm then transferred to a gentleman at collections that states "oh you can't get your money back, that's Non-refundable". I'm then transferred to Carlos, very helpful but again tells me there's nothing he can do and it's the wrong department. I am told to call the customer service line tmrw . My account is overdrawn. I am distraught and at a loss of what to do. I feel taken advantage of and completely helpless. read more
