Please do not go here!!!!!! The most unprofessional agents. I called to inquire about insurance quotes and an agent named Brian Torres started the process to get my car insured. Everything went well except he never emailed me my confirmation and insurance card. After several attempts of reaching him in the office, I asked other agents to assist me with attaining a copy of my insurance card and nobody helped me. Every time I called I was placed on hold for several minutes and they never emailed me the confirmation. This is not "Freeway Insurance" they are an agency affiliated with Freeway therefore once they deduct their "$75" broker fee they are not available to assist you nor do they care. Kelly Turton CFO Robert Trebing COO Norm Hudson CEOCS John Addeo Regarding: Daryonna Wood (Cutomer#7094242)/ Transaction #11873634/ Policy Number: GSP90210930-00 -1/15/2017: Opened Policy Number: GSP90210930-00 through Freeway Insurance for coverage from Stonewood Insurance. -1/16/2017: Cancelled Policy due to not recieving the vehicle in which I insured. I spoke with a man(unknown) who informed me my broker(KP) was out of the office but he would take care of it and she(KP) would contact me when she returned. -1/18/2017: Total amount $410.68 of CANCELED POLICY was withdrawn from my account. I immediately emailed KP as it was after hours when I seen the withdrawal. -1/19/2017: I spoke with KP where she informed me the policy had not been canceled and that there were additional steps, including a hand written statement of cancellation. I complied with her request while letting her know the cancellation should be retroactive to the day I initially called on 1/16/2017 as I did not ever receive the car I insured and I was not informed of the protocol by the guy I spoke with. I would have happily obliged if he had requested any of the additional steps to cancel of me. I was informed it would take up to 2 weeks (business days) for the refund to be deposited back into my account. -2/7/2017: I called to check the status of my refund as its had not yet been returned. After 7 separate calls, ranging from not getting thru at all to being immediately directed to the customer service line even tho I requested to speak to my broker KP specifically (I was instructed by KP that if any issue were to arise I could call and reach her there directly). Finally after speaking to a customer service rep (against my request of being forwarded there) I was informed that the policy had indeed been canceled, but there was no refund due to me. I was livid and confused. I still was unable to get to my broker so I requested the supervisor or manager and continued to get the run-around. I couldn't even get the name of a superior to make a complaint and find my money. After speaking with a Complaints Dept rep. who called me bck multiple times to ask a bunch of rhetorical questions, the Complaints dept. than calls me and say that there is no refund in processing, was processed or due to me at all for that matter. -2/8/2017: Finally the supervisor of my broker (FC) calls and informs me that things are being taken care of and they were sorry for the conflict and confusion, there was some delays due to the Stonewood insurance companies process and now needing additional information and additional steps that I would have happily obliged to if I had been initially inform of them. KP and FC told me the insurance company had changed its process and had not informed them & that was the hold up. I took all the additional steps requested of me, including an email from the dealer to inform the insurance company I did not receive the car at all. -2/11/2017 :AutoVision grants me the vehicle I had originally attempted to get and had the original now canceled policy. The dealer had been with me the whole way thru the chaos and run-around with both freeway and stonewood. That evening I email both KP and FC to inform them of the purchase and to get ETA on my refund as I planned to re-open a policy with them and I STILL had not received a refund of any kind from either Stonewood or Freeway, the bulk of which freeway insurance had. -2/14/2017: I still had not received a refund from either party. Once again I tried called KP and was given the total run around. It took a series of 9 calls before I was able to get to my broker,I was told that the cancellation was now in full swing and I should expect a full refund within the matter of days. Then I receive yet another call from Freeway Complaint department, telling me Stonewood is refusing to release my refund, I called Stonewood directly myself. They told me something to the affect they could not cancel the policy because the Dealer sent an email but not the proper form. I inquired about what form was necessary because my dealer had no clue, I was told by the same Stonewood rep. that there wasn't a specific form. WHAT? He than said the email needed to be an attached document with a letter head but the email with the statement written in the body of the email was insufficient. Total confusion of phone calls between myself, Stonewood Insurance and Auto Vision. Finally they get what they need and they tell me they will contact Freeway Insurance and get things going. Finally KP calls back and he informed me that everything was in order and a refund check from Freeway Insurance was placed in the mail at 9:00 am (Tuesday) that very morning. She also informed me of a processing status for my refund from Stonewood 2/19- Still NO REFUND! read more

Some of the staff here has been very patient with my situation. I've gone in there and had to purchase four policies now. However, I've had problems with the DMV, and in regards to canceling policies. The floor manger recently became offensive, and condescending to my issues. Rather than assist me, he started to presume to talk down to me. I've spent nearly a thousand dollars here and a lot of what they have told me in regards to payment dates, quotes, and policies have not been correct. Therefor, because of all this, I will not recommend them in the slightest. I called the insurance company they found for me and if I would have gone directly through them, I would have paid less than half of what Freeway charged me. Lessons learned I guess. Update: I contacted Freeway's corporate office to advise them of my situation and give them feedback. Corporate was able to push my insurance through and even managed to get me some funds back. I was days away from losing my license. I still don't know if they've addressed all my issues I had, namely, when I was asking for help that I needed to cancel my policy because I couldn't afford it, rather than reminding me I would be out 350$ because the insurance company might give me something back, but Freeway would not. I know it was up to me to read through the policy, it just would have been nice to be reminded. Because of corporates efforts I'm giving them a second star. Worse service ever. Was assisted by Ruby who has no sense of customer service. Why is she In customer service if she hates helping people. It's been 2 months and I keep getting calls because they don't have my correct info since the rep didn't take all my info correctly from the beginning. I set budgets for myself and pay things down where I need to. I was never giving an amount or a due date on my contract. So I decided to call. I was told my Insurance was due for cancellation due to lack of Payment. When I reach out to Ruby she rudely and bluntly said to me that I should know payments are due every 30days. I asked her if I could get an extension and pay in a couple of day since I had no money and had pay other stuff down instead. She produced to remind me again that payments are due every 30 days and that I should be financially responsible to pay my bills when they are due. I was dumbfounded when she said that and asked for her manager. Apparently the manager wasn't there at that moment so I called customer service line. Who not only wave the late fee, gave me the extention I needed to make my payment and be "financially responsible" as she called it and my payment was due the 25th not the 4th like she kept insisting. I place a complaint on her. Now I'm getting calls that my address is still incorrect and that there is no complaint registered. Why am I not surprised. Worse experience ever!!!! Please don't ever purchase insurance from this Company. They have the highest Brokers Fee in the business. But what happened to me was totally unacceptable. They sold me a 2nd policy even though I had one already in place. I showed them proof, that I had canceled it. Card continually was charged. My claim was escalated up to Corporate Complaints, and the process increasingly got worse. Lost information, no call backs, didn't verify my address, promises they could not keep. 92 days later.. guess who still has my overpayment of over $342 dollars??? Freeway.. So.. just to call them out. Luis Sanchez, Mr. Rene, were all complete incompetents and never kept their word. Please pay more and find another carrier. Notice their quote time is 10 mins to get your business but once they lie to you or you have any other questions about your policy once they collect your money your on hold for 20 mins then they transfer you to someone else to wait another 10 mins then that person has to look further into the account and put you on hold. UNPROFESSIONAL! I put down $315 for insurance only used the policy for 2 months because u had so many issue with trying to make a payment and had "3" different due dates. So in the end when I cancelled. I asked about my refund because there is no way I am paying over $400 for 2 months of insurance I didn't use. A freeway rep at the Norwalk location said they could not tell me how much of a refund I will be getting until 3-5 after the policy has been cancelled. And a check would be in the mail within 2 weeks. Well it has been 3 weeks now and I've called freeway back to see what my refund amount will be and the classic "YOU SIGNED A PAPER....."
