We specifically said he gets really bad skin allergies, and ear infections and his ears need to be cut 1/2 inch and shaved down on the inside so his ears aren't heavy (this has been instructions from our vet for over 5 years for his grooming a)z Michelle, the previous groomer of this company always did an EXCELLENT job on Sam, but now with being under new ownership the new groomer is terrible. here's a picture of my cocker in a beagle cut. The groomer tried to say he was matted and they had no choice but to shave him!... I posted picture of him before his groom to show he didn't have any knots and he was not matted, and then 2 pictures of how shaved down he is now.

I noticed a significant difference in my cats behavior when she is visiting verses when I would leave them to 'fend for themselves'. The updates she writes are thorough, well detailed and always include a picture. Each visit includes an invoice in advance with time for you to make changes if needed. She's dynamically handled several pet type situations, 2 cats, 2 cats indoors with one cat outdoors, hamsters, toads and even cared for a litter of 7 kittens I am fostering most recently for a week. She will feed fish and water plants too. She also handles my large dog 80+lbs with ease. She genuinely likes the animals and I've already got another visit scheduled. :) She's awesome.

My boys look amazing!…read more I have an Australian Shepherd and a Black Labrador Retriever. They're both big dogs, and neither one is exactly known for making a groomer's job easy. DHDC Mobile Pet Grooming absolutely knocked it out of the park. From the beginning, communication was excellent. I received text messages confirming my appointment window ahead of time, and on the day of my appointment they even let me know the groomer might be running a little behind. Ironically, he wasn't behind at all. I was given a two-hour arrival window of 3:00-5:00 p.m., and Corey arrived right around 4:00. That's about as perfect as you can ask for. The biggest reason we'll continue using DHDC, however, is Corey himself. My Australian Shepherd has previously been labeled as "aggressive" by other groomers when handling his paws and underbelly. Naturally, I asked Corey how he did. His response? "No aggression. He just got a little restless and wanted to lay down." That told me everything I needed to know. Waylon wasn't a problem dog. He just needed someone patient enough to work with him. Both of our boys look fantastic, but our Aussie required the most attention. Between the Grinch paws, the leg feathers, and enough rear-end fluff to qualify for its own ZIP code, he had plenty of work ahead of him. Corey cleaned him up beautifully while still keeping that classic Aussie look. All in all, the dogs are happy, I am happy, and our air purifiers are happy. I've already booked their maintenance grooming, which is probably the best recommendation I can give.

So as their customer, we are stuck until we know the time and by then it's too late for us to schedule other appointments. I understand the 2 hour window timeframe due to travel, traffic and perhaps longer sessions with the fur baby customer, however I explained the morning works best for us because both times we had late appointments, the equipment had mechanical issues and canceled our appointment, so wasted our entire day. The customers supporting their business deserves clear communication and specific dates with a timeframe at the time of scheduling. We have moved on with a more dependable company and the appointment date and time is what you receive.

What they will consider is how anything they say can be used against them, caring only about being paid, making the way they conduct their business to be cold and devoid of any compassion whatsoever. Both Dr. Russo and Dr. Boyd were unable to take a single iota of accountability for the following proceedings: I brought my cat in for two visits last week due to bladder stones, on a Monday and Thursday morning, and still ended up in the ER that Thursday afternoon. Why? Because after conducting two exams, an ultrasound, and two x-rays, aside from selling me some prescription cat food, they did absolutely nothing to treat my pet--only tell me that "he has stones in his bladder and he is high risk for a blockage." That's it. When I took my pet to the ER, the vet there looked at the same x-ray taken at GH and proceeded to treat him with a bladder flush. I called GH the next day to ask why they couldn't do that kind of a treatment themselves when they had my pet in their care. They told me, "that would have put us over working hours." When I asked why they didn't even suggest or inform me of such a treatment, I got no response whatsoever.... Just a bunch of deflection, blame shifting, and excuses. They twisted truth, manipulated the course of events, and made a series of logical fallacies in a feeble attempt to deflect their responsibility. In a business such as veterinary care, I'd imagine that if a clinic was to obtain any prestige at all, it wouldn't necessarily be due to only efficient knowledge of the practice, but PRIMARILY due to meeting the needs of the patients/families. GH did neither. Instead, they kept withholding treatment and information, like a can being kicked down a road, in an arguable attempt to keep getting money out of me with no indication of ever treating my animal. Thank God, the ER whom I took my pet to referred me to Complete Pet Animal Hospital and that is exactly where my pet is getting the treatment he deserved a week ago when I took him to GH. A complete night and day difference. If you're getting your needs met at GH, then I am happy for you. However, be wary, be on guard. One thing is certain, these people have not only lost my patronage, but they have also guaranteed that if I am ever asked if I can recommend a vet clinic in the area, let alone the state of AZ, GH can be assured that I will share this story again and again. This place has no "heart."

When I picked him up, he was completely panicked--jumping, uncontrollable, and clearly not in a condition that felt safe to take home. I questioned it, but was told he was "fine." The next day, he showed significant swelling and signs of pain that didn't seem normal. We were told to text or call with any concerns and that post-op checks would be no charge--but when I reached out, I got no response. Calls were routed elsewhere, and we were essentially ignored during a time that felt urgent. After finally reaching another location, we were told to bring him in immediately. He was prescribed additional medications, but the issues continued--swelling, inflammation, and abnormal discharge. When we returned again, the recommendation was either a costly culture test or to continue the same treatment, despite ongoing symptoms. At that point, we were also told future follow-ups might be charged, which contradicted what we were originally told. The biggest issue here isn't just the complications--it's the lack of communication, responsiveness, and consistency in care. When something goes wrong after surgery, you need to be able to reach your vet and feel supported. That wasn't our experience. I would strongly caution anyone who values reliable post-operative care and communication to think carefully before choosing this clinic.
