My inverter failed after 2 years, because apparently that's when many of them fail. It has been FOUR MONTHS of excuses why they haven't gotten someone to install it. It's literally like an hour's work for someone trained in this. They are slow to return phone calls or emails as well. Get solar, but get it from someone who believes in service after the sale. These guys ain't it. Update: They have cancelled yet another appointment to replace my inverter because they want to focus on sales installations rather than servicing their existing customers. One Friday evening I clicked on their website requesting a plan and bid. Sunday morning I had an email with a plan drawn on my roof using Google photos. It was exactly like the bid I had previously had from the largest installer in Northern California. But instead of being nine thousand dollars, the cost of this "kit" was only $2,300 including top of the line mechanicals and automatic controller. The uTube video gave me the confidence to go ahead with this DIY installation. Well, I'm 70 years old with two artificial hips and a severely compromised knee. Everything else was just fun. If you've ever glued PVC pipe you can do this. The instructions that came with the kit are complete and online information is available. And Jason is just an email away. Every time I had a question and I emailed Jason I'd have the answer in my inbox the next morning. Everything completely and clearly explained. What a great company to deal with. Even if you are not capable of doing this installation, you could hire a "handyman" to do it for you and save thousands of dollars.
