Approximately 2 years ago I had the idea that I wanted to add solar to my home. A lot of companies come to your house promising that they are going to provide you solar by replacing your electric bill with a solar loan. Makes sense because in the long term you'll finally get a chance to one day pay off your electric bill. After reviewing companies I finally settled on Mirasol solar. After the first initial installation, I realized by the end of my first year that the panels installed were not adequate to supply the goal of 100% solar energy in one year. This unfortunately created a hardship for me because I was put in the position where I was paying two bills, both the solar and an electric bill. I had posted an original review, in which I loudly complained about the poor estimate that entrapped me with the lower than expected solar production. But here's why I'm giving this company extremely high marks. Rather than telling me to go get a lawyer and good luck with suing them, the CEO of the company called me and committed directly to making my situation right. What proceeded after that was a careful period of evaluation and due diligence on their part to both own up to their mistake, as well as bringing on board necessary resources to correct the problem. They more than lived up to their word. Unfortunately a lot of companies do not operate like them, and if the company makes a mistake you are stuck with the problem and an expensive legal team. That's not how this company operated. With direct leadership interaction and engagement, I now have a system that is running at peak performance and generating quality power. So in summary, the true mark of a good company is not in their level of perfection, although that would be wonderful, but it's in how they honor their word and respect the customer. That was on full display from the top of this company to the individual employees that were quick to respond to my very insistent questions.

My inverter failed after 2 years, because apparently that's when many of them fail. It has been FOUR MONTHS of excuses why they haven't gotten someone to install it. It's literally like an hour's work for someone trained in this. They are slow to return phone calls or emails as well. Get solar, but get it from someone who believes in service after the sale. These guys ain't it. Update: They have cancelled yet another appointment to replace my inverter because they want to focus on sales installations rather than servicing their existing customers. After submitting my claim I did receive a response that they were reviewing my claim, but since that time I haven't heard a thing. It has now been 7 months since my submittal and I have sent the warranty department numerous requests, yet no response. I have also called all available numbers with no answers and no returned call. They have either gone out of business or their customer service is absolutely terrible and they do not honor their warrantees. Would not buy from them again.
