Fun place but drinks seem to be watered down. Had 3 drinks and I should have been on the floor. Not even a buzz.

The indoor/outdoor setup, the rooftop, the "sit wherever your heart desires" vibe, all great. Ordering is easy: hit the iPads on the first level, then grab your food outside at the little shack labeled Dominic's Wood‑Fired. Very modern, very chill. Slight downfall : Some parents decided to enjoy the indoors while their kids went full national geographic outside. These kids were throwing dirt, rocks, and even breaking pieces off the natural rock staircase area. Not exactly the ambiance we were hoping for while trying to enjoy the outdoors. Nothing kills the vibe like dodging flying gravel. Wood‑Fired Jumbo Wings : Absolute must‑get. The meat was falling off the bone like it had a personal vendetta against staying attached. Tender, juicy, perfect. Jalapeño Sausage : Meh. You can live without it. Hummus Dough & Dip : Soft dough, flavorful dip, no complaints. Solid choice if you don't know what you want. Would've loved staff checking in on guests... or parents checking in on their kids. Overall food's great. Atmosphere's great. The unsupervised mini demolition crew? Not so great.

We sat upstairs with a group of ladies playing mah jong which was cool to see. The host Gabby was nice, after greeting us we were seated in a booth and began looking at the menu. Our server was Taylor, who was friendly, helpful, and really good at her job. Never needed anything bc she was great! I started with one of their blackberry ciders, my brother got a sour. For an app we ordered a giant pretzel and it was delicious. Whole grain mustard and gooey cheese were served on the side. Hard not to want to eat more than one. For entrees I went with a Reuben with a side of tater tots. The Reuben was tasty, they shred the corned beef up so it's easier to eat, and you get consistent bites every time. Their 1000 island dressing is KILLER. It's definitely homemade and I ordered a side for my tots. Nephew got the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries, and my brother got the Philly cheesesteak with tots as well. Once he tried my suggestion of dipping in the dressing, he got a side as well. The GM Andrew came by and checked on us. Service level is great here, made us feel welcome and happy we were in here. Since I'm technically on the clock I had to head out after two ciders. I could see myself being here for hours, if I'm not careful. Support small owned businesses! Thanks to the team and especially Taylor for a great lunch today/

Andrina was very attentive and gave great recommendations. Give her a raise lol We started with the Crab Fried Mac n Cheese and it was not what we anticipated but we enjoyed it. Everything was hot and flavorful and the biscuits are perfectly described in the menu. There were nine of us--not exactly a tiny table, but hardly the kind of group that should throw a restaurant into chaos. To be fair, we did wait for two people in our party before ordering food. It was probably 20-30 minutes, and we made it very clear to our server that we were waiting. We also weren't just camping out at the table. We started with drinks while we waited, so the restaurant was already making money from our table before the kitchen ever had to cook a single thing. Once everyone arrived, we placed one order together. No staggered tickets, no special requests, no unnecessary complications. The thing is... the restaurant was practically empty. If anything, I would've thought they'd be happy to have a table of nine on a slow brunch. Instead, it felt like we were an inconvenience. Once we finally ordered, it was another 30-plus minutes before much of anything happened. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she also wasn't particularly interested in us being there. She checked the boxes, but just barely. It felt less like hospitality and more like someone waiting for the end of their shift. What made the whole experience even stranger was looking around the restaurant. It wasn't busy, yet several employees seemed to be standing around talking while we sat waiting. During the hour or two we were there, I think only a couple of other parties came through the door. At one point there were two hostesses managing what amounted to a trickle of guests while tables that were already seated waited on drinks, food, and attention. Maybe there's more going on behind the scenes than I could see, but from where we were sitting, it felt less like they needed more people and more like they needed to use the people they already had a little better. Then came the mimosas. These were less mimosas and more "suggestions of citrus." It was basically champagne with a couple thoughts of orange juice. At one point we had to ask for more orange juice just to get it to the legally recognized definition of a mimosa. They tasted like champagne that heard flavored sparkling water was popular and decided to reinvent itself. There was a whole lot of "mim" and not much "osa." At nearly $14 each, I expected something a little more festive and a little less... chemistry experiment. For food, I ordered the Fried Green Tomato Benny: two biscuits, fried green tomatoes, poached eggs, Cholula hollandaise, and fresh fruit. On paper, that's a fantastic brunch. In reality, it was aggressively average. Nothing was quite hot enough. The biscuits had crossed that invisible line between baked and overbaked, where every bite makes you wonder if they're fresh or just committed to the bit. The whole dish felt like it had spent just a few too many minutes waiting for someone to remember it existed. And then there was the fruit. You know the kind of fruit bowl where every piece somehow tastes exactly the same because it's been sitting in the same juice for hours? That's what this was. Cheap melon, tired grapes, and enough pooled juice to ensure every bite shared the same identity crisis. To top it all off, the Benny was around $18, and the mimosas were pushing $14 each. I'm not going to call it a scam because words have meanings. Nobody tricked us. The prices were right there on the menu. We knew exactly what we were doing. We just expected the experience to justify it. On the bright side, the restaurant looks like it was designed by someone who has never met food, but has definitely met Pinterest. And honestly, it shows. Modern farmhouse, soft lighting, curated everything--it nails the aesthetic. Which is great, because you'll have plenty to look at while everything else catches up. It's funny how common this is now: it's easier than ever to make something look finished. You can polish the surface until it feels complete, even when the inside still isn't. Anyway--great aesthetics. The rest feels like it's still figuring itself out.

Vickery Village - Cumming - Post Road…read more Rick Tanners aka Tanners aka Cherry Street Brewery has been around Atlanta as long as I can remember. I can recall seeing Rick hanging out working in one of his booths at the PIB location. Great casual dining room with outside patio seating available by the parking lot. What is good? Just about everything! Chicken Fingers basket with fries and honey mustard. Their honey mustard is so good and compliments their tasty crispy chicken fingers. The award winning chili (made with brewhouse beer) is VERY good and I can see why it's award winning - just need to add hot sauce if you like spicy. Buffalo Chicken Dip with carrots / celery / and what I assume are house made chips - Yummy! Smothered Chicken - this was a favorite of ours YEARS ago. I need to order it again soon. I recall it being a great combination and feels like comfort food. There is only ONE thing we ordered that I would say DO NOT ORDER ... Turkey & Dressing Dinner - I am almost certain I had it years ago when it was good - moist oven roasted turkey. This weeks turkey dinner - such a disappointment. I checked the ToGo box and saw dried out slices of turkey - I asked the manager how it was prepared and probably should have shown her - it can't be the standard of what they serve. It was DRY to begin with then thin sliced and grilled making is extremely dry. The sides however were very good - green beans - so good and the mashed potatoes & gravy plus the dressing was very good. On a positive note about the turkey - my cats enjoyed the dry chewy turkey. :) Will we go there again - YES! Highly RECOMMEND for comfort food / casual dining.
