Something is off at this place. I took a Pomeranian there and he was put with large dogs. He had…read morerecently had a hind leg fractured, had had expensive surgery and rehab. He was on all 4 legs when I took him in. The pressure from the big dogs or the jumping around badly hurt his leg and now he is on 3 legs. I think I have to start all over again and get him to the surgeon he saw this spring. I cannot put my finger on it, but I suspect the staff has not had training or they lack questioning skills when a new dog is presented. Like a doc's office: is the dog on any medication? has the dog had surgery recently? is the dog allergic to cleaning solutions? Just basic inquiries might have helped determine the small dog should not go with the big dogs.

We would pick her up and she was a "hyper-fit" but soon settled back into our home routine after reassurance, a shower and much brushing. We picked her up yesterday and she was so glad. She was also shining clean and had been brushed out , toenails trimmed (really well). She was less stressed, even when coming home into the house. She was glad to be home as always but way more comfortable with being gone. We had a repair man stop by today, and for the first time ever, she didn't run out barking and trying to scare him off, she was watchfull, but not threatening . Not sure how you managed this, but whoever is working there now , THANK YOU, for taking such good care of her and helping with her training. Kerry Dougherty & Dick Dyer

I do not recommend. Dogs are kept in crates all day let out to potty 4 maybe 5 times a day and…read moreexpected not to play. When they do bring your dogs out (if you pay extra) they get 5 to 10 minutes to play and then rushed back into their crates. You have to pay for basic needs for a dog, rushed walks, playtime that isn't long enough, if your dog gets meds, cuddles and "play pals" which is a very quick thing only to get a video or picture just to post on their Instagram story. If you dont sign your dog up for anything HUGE chances the dog DOES NOT leave the crate besides for going potty and being rushed at that. Staff arent allowed to use force or discipline if the dogs arent listening yet they do. If your dog pukes or has diarrhea more than once they are given Purina FortiFlora, gastro or pumpkin, if they continue the dog does not eat. All staff claimed to be dog lovers but RUSHING and not making sure dogs arent stuck in crates. News flash excitement and built up energy can EASILY turn into aggression!! Very toxic environment, toxic people and overall bad vibes there. Do not recommend to anyone near this overly expensive dog boarding facility, they do not care about your dogs as much as they say they do. Do not bring your dogs here!!

He's 5 years old and a bit of a goof ball when his needs are met. In the past 6 mos Ive used BDI twice. When I brought Basil for a stay in Dec. He approached the entrance and when the door to the office was opened, he did an about face, and headed back to the car. As I was headed to the airport, I had to coerse him to enter the office. I assumed it was nothing unusual. (first red flag). The staff would not let me see the back where the dogs are kept. ( second red flag ). Basil stayed 6 days that time. Recently I attended a week long event and booked a res for him well in advance. They insist on 50% deposit, which was substancial. When I dropped him off, again he balked at the entrance. ( 3rd red flag). I decided to call the next day to see how he was doing. Call went to voicemail, no one called me back. ( 4th red flag). Two more days go by, I call again, mentioning my first call that had not been returned. I then received an email telling me Basil was fine, wnjoying his stay. Pictures were sent to convince me. On pick up day, I emailed my arrival time, and was there at 4pm. Dani said she would email me a receipt when the charges went through. I took Basil home, he was exausted. No charges came thru til 48 hrs later, no email either. I saw the charge on my bank statement online. I emailed BDI and explained how I had not received a receipt, and found it unsettling, and unorofessional to charge a customer without the chance to review the charges. Within 15 minutes, I recieved an email with the charges, and an additional email from the manager Natasha, apologising for the delay, and telling me I was no longer welcome to make a future reservation with them. (Huge red flag). Any business that is that reactive to legitimate concerns, and results in blocking the customer, is a reason to really question this business, and their integrity. Im fine, Basil is fine, we will spread the word about our experience and never go back per their request. H Harwood

We were able to make all the arrangements online. The day I dropped him off we were greeted by a staff member named Joy. She is aptly named. She was a delightful woman, showing me the facility, and where my dog would be staying. She showed me where the cameras are so that the owner can look in the evening before she goes to bed to make sure all the dogs are OK. Each dog has his individual space where he spends the night. There is a group inside play area as well as several different fenced in areas outside where dogs can play separately or together. There is a man who lives on the property who is also available in case of emergency and works part time at the facility. When I came to pick my dog up the next day, he was happy and healthy! They said there were no issues, and we were all very happy with the experience.
